I contacted Larry at 11AM on a Tuesday to do some electrical repair for a rental property in Center City. By Wednesday at 11AM, the job we complete. He worked with my tenant directly for ease of scheduling, kept me updated via texts on progress and cost estimates. Payment via VenMo made the entire job and experience incredibly simple and efficient. I was able to manage the entire exchange via my iPhone - can't get any easier. I'll use Larry for all my electrical work in the city. Highly recommend!

This guys are great!! I had some bad experiences before with company's who would charge me a lot of money and would never show up in time. But with Alba electric was totally different. The guy came and did an estimate (price was very good). After a couple of days (pretty fast) he came and did the job. It was a great experience. Dave responded to my request for quote same day, performed the job with a very high level of professionalism, and was extremely responsive throughout the entire process.

I called them thinking I needed an Electrician to come out ASAP.
He walked me through how to get the power back on with the circuit breaker by phone. He could have came out and charged me. I appreciate the integrity. Would hire for a future job definitely

Since my husband and I bought our own home they have done all of our electrical work. When Jim’s team was preparing to install electric baseboard heaters in our third floor nursery, he found out the baseboard heaters we ordered to have installed weren’t arriving on time ( this was in the winter) he came on his own time and dropped off his own electric heaters for us to borrow until they arrived to be installed. We will never use anyone else. Amazing prices to boot.

UPDATE: After writing this review, Gen3 management contacted me and our experience improved. I'm increasing the rating because they were apologetic, communication improved greatly, and they got a crew out to make our system operational.-------------------------------We contracted Gen3 for the relatively large job of replacing our furnace and installing AC throughout our home.As the installers were packing up they let me know that the air-handler they installed in our attic was not working and that someone would be in contact with me later that day or the next day.No one from Gen3 contacted me for 5 days despite me contacting the office multiple times.Eventually an appointment was schedule to fix the brand-new equipment they installed for the 8th day since the installation crew left. That appointment was cancelled last-minute and reschedule for 11th day. On the 11th day, no one from Gen3 showed up.In addition to all of this, the attention to detail with the installation was poor. I never would have written a review of a local business about these things alone, but in combination with the other issues it paints a clearer picture of what to expect:- One of the ceiling vents isn't flush with the ceiling- In multiple rooms the installers left blue-goo (I'm assuming leak detection fluid) drips down the wall, on the baseboards, and puddled on the floor. By the time I noticed this the baseboards were stained in multiple spots and needed to be repainted.- They managed to gouge one of the plank of a brand-new floor that we had installed on one of our rooms two weeks prior.The sales consultant we worked with before the installations was helpful and responsive, so we had had high hopes of how this job would go. Unfortunately, the reality is that Gen3 is irresponsible and unresponsive. The lack of care, communication, and proactive efforts to make this situation right is bad business, disrespectful, and is at this point insulting.
