In about an hour they were able to send someone out to the house who quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem for a fair price. They met inside the time window they gave us, delivered a reasonable up-front estimate, and were polite the whole time. Would recommend and use again.

Tom did a great job and was very reasonable in price. I am a general contractor with electrical experience and I needed Tom to finish a project for me. He did not make the the job into a bigger project than needed, most electricians with large overhead would have! Definitely would recommend

I really don’t understand how there are any bad reviews here. I’ve been renovating an old house in Phily and needed some upgrades to the electric system. After meeting a couple of other electricians I met with Ilir from Alba electric and I was very impressed by his knowledge and level of professionalism. Ilir and his team did some extensive work, including replacing the power panel and adding a 220 line. Throughout the process Ilir communicated prices and scheduling very well. There were some issues with some old wires on the second floor that we did not predict before starting the work and instead of opening up all of my walls, Ilir found a way around the problem and fixed it quickly. I’ve worked with many contractors during this renovation, but my experience with Alba electric has been the best so far. Would give more than five stars if it was possible. Thank you Ilir and the team at Alba electric.

The technician, Scott, completely walked me through what he was going to do, made recommendations and provided a detailed explanation of the cost before performing any work. This ensured there was no duping or up sales. The quality of his work was great and he left the area better than what he found. I would rest assured recommending them to friends and family and will use them on my next job.

My wife and I just purchased a new home In Roxborough and we had some electrical issues to take care of before moving in. Dave was ableto come to our house and take care of these issues and more that we uncovered. We had our panel replaced, a/c disconnect for central air and some gfi’s installed in a few places. While he was working in the basement we uncovered a few wiring issues that he was able to solve without any issues. I was very happy with the service. Dave showed up when he said he would, performed the work at the agreed upon price and went above and beyond. I will definitely use him again for any electrical or wiring needs in the future. They have consistently been very responsive and punctual, and on two installations they were able to fish wire through the entire house without making holes in the walls or ceiling.

Theo came to our house and installed a fan in the kitchen. Whenever we were cooking, not being able to vent the kitchen out meant the smoke alarm was always going off and making me CRAZY. Theo was a pleasure to work with, gave a very fair price and cleaned up after himself.... it took him less than an hour to install it.

I used Barry Fisher a few years ago to install a separate line for a new dishwasher. He charged me $250 - the going rate was $125. I only used him because I needed it right away and he was already at my home. He also offered to fix my circuit panel by moving it away from the wall, for $800. Claimed it was wet and could destroy all of my appliances. Had my plumber (who also does electrical) examine it - he said there was nothing wrong with it. This is a new review. Barry Fisher responded that my original one was slander and illegal - demanded I delete it, which I've done. I am submitting this new review and want others to know that, in fact, the Federal Trade Commission protects consumers' rights to submit online reviews, positive and negative. Google also allows us to express our opinions freely.
