Larry and his team were very friendly, responsive, and super helpful. They repaired all the items on our punch list in a timely manner and were very easy to work with from scheduling to the actual day of work. Would highly recommend Larry and his team to anyone needing electrical work.

I contacted the company to install grounding wire/grounding rod. The first time they came to my home they charged $450.00 to put copper wire around my hot water tank. I contacted them to inform them the job was not completed correctly prior to having gas service in my home. The technician informed him that he did not want to put holes in the walls in my basement and that what he did was sufficient. When PGW came to turn on gas service in my home, I was informed the grounding work was not completed correctly. I contacted them again and had to pay an additional $185.00 for the same technician to install the grounding rod I asked for initially. If you hire any techs from this company please ensure you monitor the work you hire them to complete. I would not want anyone else to share my same experience.

Justin was one of the best contractors we have ever hired. He quoted a fair price to install our video doorbell, scoped out the work accurately and installed everything perfectly. He was very respectful of the home to not track dirt place and even was great with the clean up and patchwork that we needed. Highly recommended them to anyone looking to get any size of electrical project done

I am a novice real estate investor who is learning the business and trying to make sure that my property is well managed. After an inspection from the local township, I was given a list of electrical fixes. I contacted Protech on Thumbtack and they immediately responded. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I missed their calls and had to reschedule. This was completely my fault, but Protech remained very professional and understanding and they rescheduled me for another date. Even on that date I missed their technicians initial call, but they again remained professional and friendly and worked around my schedule.The technician, Dimitir, arrived on time and provided an honest, thorough and educational consultation! The service was efficient and reasonably priced. Suffice to say, they have earned me as a long term customer! Highly recommend!!!

Ed gave me a quote for replacing a seriously worn power line to my meter box from the PECO line on a Friday morning. Since I work from home and could not afford being without power during the week, he accommodated me with Saturday service. …next day!! In short he quoted and provide his service within one day…WOW!! We used this service for a wire that was outside of our home to be fixed. They did the work . But with a two week something went wrong. I had to call a 24 hour electrician to come out and help us. Apparently the electrician split the wires and caused a shortage in my panel box. Never again.

I really don’t understand how there are any bad reviews here. I’ve been renovating an old house in Phily and needed some upgrades to the electric system. After meeting a couple of other electricians I met with Ilir from Alba electric and I was very impressed by his knowledge and level of professionalism. Ilir and his team did some extensive work, including replacing the power panel and adding a 220 line. Throughout the process Ilir communicated prices and scheduling very well. There were some issues with some old wires on the second floor that we did not predict before starting the work and instead of opening up all of my walls, Ilir found a way around the problem and fixed it quickly. I’ve worked with many contractors during this renovation, but my experience with Alba electric has been the best so far. Would give more than five stars if it was possible. Thank you Ilir and the team at Alba electric.

We've had a tricky time trying to find anyone to task on our boiler. These folks were forthright and knowledgeable. They repaired a previously made mistake and explained what was going on and what needed to be done in the future. our first call from now on.

When I was looking for an electrician to do a full house rewire/knob and tube removal, I must have contacted 10+ electricians in Philadelphia. Most didn't even get back to me, or barely wrote a complete sentence in reply.Greg wasn't available to do the work I needed, but not only did he get back to me, he also provided detailed information and advice tailored to my situation. He sent me several informational articles (that he had written himself) about knob and tube and related issues. He also answered several follow-up questions that I had. And he suggested another electrical company to me, which I ended up hiring (and they did a great job!).I've also seen Greg on social media, generously offering substantial free advice to other people who were having electrical problems, without asking for anything in return or engaging in self-promotion. He seems extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his trade and genuinely interested in helping other people even when there is no financial gain for him. I would've hired him in a heartbeat if he had been available when I needed electrical work, and I would not hesitate to hire him if I need other work done in the future.
