Best Fixture Installations in Austin TX
Grayzer was fantastic. They were extremely responsive and communicative when determining a quote for a long 220 run to a new split system condenser. They showed up on time [early even] and the guys did really quality work, were done quickly. Pricing was very reasonable. Trades are a critical find as a homeowner and they will be the only ones I use going forward. Many thanks. Highly recommended.

My father is home bound and depends on his microwave for easy prep eating. When the outlet went out in the kitchen we needed help quick. The guys from Max Electric were able to get out on a weekend and get it solved quickly. I appreciate their promptness and the price was reasonable. Thank you!

Bon and his trainee, Caleb, recently installed a microwave oven that needed wiring/connecting in a small crawl space in the attic. Bon was determined to get the job done correctly (per code) despite the difficulty of working in the small crawl space. They were both polite, professional and dedicated to completing the task. I would highly recommend Bon and Tru Tec Electric!

Klock's electric did an outstanding job rewiring a 1930's home including a panel upgrade. Greg made it happen time after time. He stands behind the work and doesn't ghost you when an issue comes up. Hard to find compaines like his and hands down one of the best in Austin.

I own a small business and I really never want to trash another small company but I have sat with this a few months now and saving someone else from going through what I did is the right thing to do. I will try to keep this short and to the point. Partial rewrire and upping the service to a 1100 sq ft home. I was with out power for 4 months. They shut off my power to my tiny house to do the transfer that they hadn’t set up with the city. The drilled holes in my roof for support cables which caused leaks in my roof ruining my Sheetrock. They ran a conduit pipe 14 feet down the skirt of my house instead of putting it inside the skirting where it couldn’t be seen. My outlets in the backsplash are all different heights. Not in a straight line. The light that should be centered above my sink is two inches off center to the right. The pantry light isn’t at the front of the ceiling...I could just go on and on. My original quote that got Gabe the job was $8800 I paid him $12,000 after adding a few outlets. Long story short the jobs not done we finally just had to cut our losses and ask him to leave. Some of his work has had to be corrected by another electrician. Some of it can’t be corrected. Again I don’t want to trash anyone but I am living with a light two inches off center and there is nothing I can afford to do about it now...it’s very disheartening not to mention I am nervous my house is going to burn down. At one point sparks where flying in the sub panel. I would have to recommend you use some one else. I’m sorry capital city electric. You screwed me.

Irvin and his crew gave excellent service. We had several light fixtures, switches and outlets that needed to be installed/replaced during a recent remodel. They did such a great job that we will continue to call on them as we tackle more renovations. Very pleased with their work and highly recommend them.

They assisted in repairing an electrical issue with a patio fan. Immediately found the problem and fixed it in less than 25 minutes. They were very helpful. It was pricey for the minor work needed but negotiable. However, all around good work.

We were so impressed by the prompt and outstanding service from Bert at Shipley Electric. We were in the middle of a countertop install on a Friday afternoon and needed an electrician to assist with a grounded power cooktop.Bert was able to work us in and is the only reason our countertop job could be finished without having to wait until after the weekend. He returned to reconnect the stove and also remove an outlet on another wall. Highly recommend Shipley Electric. Exceptional!!

I cannot recommend A-One Electric. I had an issue with a bedroom where every time I flipped on a light switch it tripped the breaker for the bedroom. A-One's technician arrived unprepared (without even the right type of breaker to swap into my panel) and without the necessary expertise to diagnose the problem. He looked in the light switch box and, without unscrewing anything, concluded everything looks right to me. He told me he could hunt around for the problem, but since he didn't know what he was looking for, he would only find it by luck. I told him no thanks. I gave a call to a friend of mine, and he explained that what I was looking for was something that was causing current to leak onto the ground wire, because this would cause the breaker to read a higher than normal change when the switch was flipped, and therefore trip the breaker. I found the problem - a wire with a slice in its protective coating - in the same switch box the technician had glanced in. A one-inch piece of electrical tape and the problem was solved. A-One sent me a bill for $95 for doing nothing. I understand the trip charge concept, but considering the details of the trip, I don't think it was deserved. I offered to split it with them ($45) and they said they would take me to small claims court. Nice.
