Ryan H and Levi M fixed my problem with the circuit breaker to my hot water heater. They were on time, polite, and very efficient. It was immediately obvious that Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He quickly analyzed the problem and promptly fixed it. He explained everything and checked it all. He went beyond the expected, even replaced a poor connection on the hot water heater at no extra charge. Finished in 30 minutes and the price was much less than I expected. I highly recommend American Electrical and especially Ryan H.

Technicians were great, however, I was shocked looking at the cost being very high for the type of job performed. They charged me for 3 hours of labor included the time of departure to the house from their location. Typically service time starts from.time of starting the work, it doesn't include driving time. There was even a delay of 10 minutes from the community gate to get to the house. The scheduling center were not clearly communicating the costs and how they were determined.

They did an excellent job for us. Scott was very courteous and made sure the jobsite was left clean.

The ceiling fan box in the kitchen was installed above the ceiling level which required cutting the ceiling dry wall to fit fan where it's supposed to go. Also box was loose. It should be solid so fan doesn't wobble. Have to hire somebody else to fix it as they have not returned after repeatedly saying they will. Low voltage wires fell out from where they were stuffed between the cabinet and microwave. Conduit installed in concrete was not below ground level at the wall. I had to disassemble kitchen cabinet to cut out bottom of the cabinet back so it would fit tight against the wall. Do not hire them. No follow through. Horrible customer service. They keep saying they'll come fix it but never show up.

Excellent service from first contact with Jacque in the office to the work done by Sean and Kenny. We are so happy with the outcome-they even rewired our old chandelier to replace the one my wife did not like. Great job-so nice to find a quality company with great staff!

I was home, but i dislocated my knee recently so im on crutches, ibasked them to let me know when they were done so i could walk them out. Instead, i see their truck pull off so i come out of my room to find my house filthy from the work, shoe prints everywhere, they pushed things under my kids door, but the worst part is they left my front door WIDE OPEN! When i tried to contact them they ignored me several times and as

Nick was able to help me restore the power to my dock/boat lift for a very reasonable cost. He was very professional and clearly explained the issue so I could understand it. He was able to identify and fix the issue very quickly when other electricians were unable to. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone and I would call him for any and all electrical issues in the future. Great, timely communication and very high quality and professional service. Fantastic company and people! Highly recommend.

Did two projects for me (main panel replacements), one turned out well and the other was a bit of a train-wreck.

First, if you don't communicate a very specific and detailed request, it is lost, misunderstood and incorrectly priced. What started out as a 200 Amp panel replacement ($1,100.00) and a request to add an automatic cut -off switch for a back up generator at $800.00 blew-up to $3,700.00.

Worse, I kept sending them specifications for a solar inverter that I wanted to install at the same time while re-powering my house. After repeated request for pricing the work, they blew me off, only admitting they were incapable of installing the equipment after the initial job was completed.

To add insult to injury, they forgot to have the work inspected for over two months?
Now I have to hire another company to finish the project. The moral of the story; they are OK at very simple task and their field people are competent. But complex work of any kind is far out of their wheel-house and their office staff is disorganized and questionable.

I could have giving the entire project to another company that was slightly cheaper and qualified to install solar equipment. It will cost me great deal more, pull another permit and have to undo some of the work already completed.

Learn from my mistake.

James and his staff are very professional and quick. We use them for all of our Electrical needs at our office. I would recommend Pilot Electric for any electrical job big or small.

My power was shut off by JEA after Matthew with no notice. So I needed a electrician to reconnect. So these guysShowed up to my house did absolutely zero work were there maybe 10 min and said they would have write me a estimate this was a sat. So Sunday no power and then Monday I call back for estimate.... Nada.... Will get back to you, so no power for 2 days still waiting, I call another electrician to come out 2 hrs later my power is on back in service. So did B&G ever call me back? Yea 4 days later with estimate 5 times what the other guy charged. Oh and to top they want to charge 300$ for shinning a flash light the night they showed up.

COMPLETE SCUMBAGS.

I didn't mind the actual service they provided. However, they were late in coming to my appointment. They literally didn't show up about the next day. Then, they went on ahead and made a decision that could have cost me extra money, without my consent. When I went to tell the supervisor about it, he told me that I kept complaining about nothing after they did a great job. He didn't take the time to listen, or was not even humble enough to give a crap about my complaint. Yes, I did complain. Not complaining about the service, but I am now complaining about this supervisor's attitude. He was disrespectful and on top of that he told me that any other electrical issues, I can got to another company. I will take your advice on that, sir.
I don't mind paying extra, but only if quality customer service comes with. He kept my bill at the original rate that he promised, but you can't shut me up from telling others about how terrible you treat your customers.
