I called to ask for a quote to re-wire an entire home and less than 10 seconds into the phone call I was told by the receptionist, We are not interested in giving quotes, and hung up on. I have never been hung up on by a business when asking for their business. Avoid this company.

Excellent customer service in getting me scheduled. The two man crew, Jason & Mike were on time, knocked the work out and were on their way. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. I do believe I will be calling back if I have any electrical issues arise.

I called GNH to swap out an old ceiling fan with a new one. All the wiring was in place. I asked for a quote over the phone and they said for some reason they couldn't give me one. My usual electrician was booked up for a few weeks and GNH was available the next day. They said it was a $50 service fee to come check it out which would be applied to any work done. Although I thought it was strange they couldn't even give me a ballpark estimate on the fan replacement, I needed it done quickly so I had them come out. The electricians were nice and showed up on time. But as soon as one of them looked at the fan he said did they give you a price over the phone? I told them they said they couldn't do that...then I had a bad feeling. He immediately looked at it and said $200. I thought that's a little high but I need it done, plus it's really just $150 because the service fee would be applied to the final price. They finished up in about 30 minutes and the fan works fine. They didn't show me an invoice, just took the card and ran it. I said So that's 200 minus the 50 dollar service fee? He said yes and ran the card and I signed. Later that day I looked at the receipt they emailed me and it was $200. I emailed them saying it must have been a mistake, and they said no...it was $250 minus the $50 service charge. I told them that's not what I was told. They basically said, well too bad you approved it. I told them I was told I was paying $150 and they just RAN MY CARD WITHOUT SHOWING ME AN INVOICE at all, no matter what they say or how they may respond to this. Then they stopped emailing me back. So BE CAREFUL and demand a quote over the phone...if they won't give you one...find someone else.

I hired them to remove my 200A home electrical service, relocate the power to underground / upgrade the power to 400A . Everything was done quickly and as discussed before starting. I have two more electrical modification projects to see they can get me on the schedule.

We hired Thompson Electric twice for electrical problems. Tim was our Electrician and he was great! Tim was polite, professional and was very knowledgeable about my electric problems. I was very nervous, but after talking with Tim I was confident he knew exactly what to do. Tim definitely is the best.

I would not recommend very disorganized and unprofessional. Had an appointment window and the company was still late. Didn’t honor price quoted and wanted to charge more after giving me proposal. I wasted time dealing with them I wouldn’t recommend at all !!

They came a day earlier than expected to fix our problem. A faulty wire in an outlet had caused power to be out for a certain section in our house which included our refrigerator. Ray was very efficient in quickly diagnosing our problem and fixing it to our satisfaction.
