Best Breaker Switch in Jacksonville FL

I first contacted American Electrical Contractors about 3 years ago when I was having an issue with the light switch for my master bathroom. Josh Petrie was the electrician who was sent out and he quickly fixed the problem. When I wanted recessed lighting installed in my kitchen, I called AEC and specifically asked for Josh. He came out, didn't take all day and cleaned up the debris after and my lighting came out beautifully. So three years later, when I needed a Ring doorbell and Spotlight Camera installed, I called and asked for him again not sure if he was still working there. I was so happy to find out that he was still employed with AEC and he came out and did a great job once again including showing me how to navigate the app on my phone once he completed the installations. Any future jobs that I have that require an electrician, I will be calling AEC and requesting Josh.**Update**Google wouldn't let me leave a new review so I will have to edit my previous one. It doesn't matter because I still give them 5 stars for the most recent work performed by Kevin & Austin. I contacted them about replacing 4 outdoor lights on the the sides of my garage and on my porch columns that had become faded and were over 15 years old. I received a courtesy call when they were 30 minutes away. They were quick, cleaned up after themselves and my lights look beautiful. I will continue to use AE for my electrical needs.

Nathan and Chris came out & installed two fans and three pendant lights. Both were efficient, professional and quick with their work. I will use David Gray Electric again!!!

Mike Kovarik was very professional, honest and easy to speak with. He fixed all my electrical problems in one trip. Can’t get better service than that. He went out of his way to sure everything was done right before leaving. Great service Mike!

I had a great experience with American Electric. The electrision, Wesley, explained to me everything he was going to be doing in my home upfront.. He gave me a time frame for when he would be done and did not leave any mess from pulling the wires and cutting in my outlets. I highly recommend this company. It was such an easy and great experience from setting up the appointment to having the work completed to paying for the service. The best electrical business i have ever used....and so friendly too! I highly recommend them. Rarely do i find such quality service!

A quick response to my initial phone call and got a visit scheduled for the next day. Austin was really excellent and we cannot fault his work, a great problem solver too, managing to fit the vanity light in an awkward space . Highly recommend Burbank and Austin.

We had a lot of light fixtures installed inside and outside of our house requiring the two electricians to have to get in the attic in a hundred plus degrees. They did a great job and made sure we were okay with the way the light fixtures would look before installing them. They were courteous and professional and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. We intend to use them again in the future.

My husband had them come out for an estimate over two weeks ago, which they did. They said they’d follow up and provide the estimate. Nothing. We followed up and no response. We decided to take our business elsewhere.

They recently installed light fixtures in my garage. But this review is about all the work they have done for us over the years, inside and outside our home . They do an excellent job no matter the need. They are always nice and pleasant. I highly recommend them for any electrical work.

Had a great experience with Matt. He was punctual and charged hourly. Let us know his rate up front and worked for the full time we were able to pay for and told us he could provide estimates for the things we just wanted to improve but that weren't critical or urgent. Super nice guy.
