I've had the pleasure of working with Ian on business matters, but unfortunatly I do not live in his service area. If I did, I would most certainly use him for my electrical needs. Additionally I've met his technicians as well, they are true professionals, unlike some elecricians ive hired in the past for repair. The technician was friendly and clever. He fixed the hall light so we don't have to use a flashlight to go up the stairs. He also diagnosed problems with the lights on the ground floor. Highly Recommend Excel Electricians!

This was the most horrible electrician I've ever called. Mr. Sparky has been bought out and new owner. The electrician they sent out was fiddling with my electrical outlets and now been burdened with an enormous repair with another company. He did NOT know what he was doing. He was all over the map on his quote and kept back peddling when asked with a question. The quotes came back all over the map and was $$$ exhorbitant for what was needed. Not only have I now been saddled with enormous damage from the electrician at my home but I called the owner back, asked for the owner. He never called me back, sent his wife to call me. She laughed at me on the phone, refused to return my $89 service call and said they pride themselves on making money 100-200/week calls of $89. They are looking at volume and not integrity. The old Mr. Sparky reputation is gone. Mr. Sparky is no longer the owner. I would never recommend this company. Horrible! Customer beware!

Incredibly professional and honest. Quickly figured out the issue (shorted door bell transmitter) and were super honest about the repairs. Will definitely use them for future repairs!

This Electric company and Technician have the best service and professional technician name Robert Viema. This Technician was knowledgeable and professional with his craft. He showed up and time and took care of business. I highly recommend this guy and company. He installed three beautiful ceiling fans and three pendant lights.

I can't say enough good things about these guys!. I had 3 different electric companies come to my house to give me a price estimate for the light fixtures I needed to install. The first was one of the big companies and they basically told me that I had to break the bank and get new everything, that my house was on the verge of getting set on fire by Lightning and surges. I'm a new home owner and don't know much about these things so after that scare (and the super high price) I decided to do my research and look into some good family run smaller businesses that may be a little more honest with me regarding the work that needed to be done and the installation of my lights. Someone more consumer oriented. I found two really good companies, one of them was Matthew Arnold, the owner of the local electrician who personally greeted me and was really honest and friendly. He made me feel much more at ease and told me that I was not in danger but only needed a few things updated to be safe at home. He also gave me a good price for the installation of the fixtures and answered all my questions and concerns. He and his college Lee were here yesterday and they were very good! Efficient and friendly!. I'm very happy about my choice and I'm sure that if anything should go wrong I'll have an honest and hard working professional to turn to!. Thank you Matthew!

We used Illuminations for the first time a little over two years ago. Illuminations and their crew is FLAWLESS and HEADACHE FREE!! Their quality is EXCELLENT! They delivered everything ON TIME and AS PROMISED sticking with their estimate. Honestly, they exceeded our expectations. We've done several projects in our home (outdoor kitchen, adding an upper deck, etc.) and it's always comes with some anxiety hoping you choose the right service provider. We've had our share of headaches for sure. Illuminations was THE BEST crew we've dealt with. They did all of our landscape lighting front and back and our outdoor kitchen. We have a large yard with a lot of challenging areas and very tall trees, including palms.They had to dig some trenches in our yard for outdoor lighting, and used a crew from Head to Head irrigation. My husband still talks about how carefully the trenches were dug and how we couldn't even tell they were dug at all when they finished. We now use Head to Head Irrigation exclusively for our sprinkler system and any irrigation needs. Great people know great people!Rest assured these guys are trustworthy and provide high quality work. I'm writing this today because we are starting new projects and in looking back, I realized that even after two years of weathering and heavy use, we have had NO PROBLEMS at all with our outdoor lighting. Jolt installed a whole house generator for me. I paid for the generator upfront which was ~half of the cost, then the balance after install. Marilu took care of the administrative part dealing w/ permits & CenterPoint Energy. Vladimir handled the install. They both did a great job & made the process as painless as possible. They're also both very friendly & great about addressing any questions or comments I had.
