The guys that worked on the electrical assessment and installation (in ground, involving massive amounts of excavation) at my home were amazing! Joe and Edgar were absolutely excellent in caring for my house’s needs. We have aluminum wiring and were told by another company to just “sell our house” or pay $20,000 to rewire! Joe and his team calmly said that wasn’t necessary at all, installed a new breaker and meter, answered all our questions, and even answered questions about pig-tailing. Excellent company

We called Local Electrician to perform a Panel upgrade and install Generator Transfer switch and connections. Sean assessed the work and gave us a fair price for the work on a Friday. They had an opening available for Monday. Lee called to let us know when to expect him and started on time. The local electrician team supported him throughout the day with supplies and support. He was very professional and extremely thorough, with attention to detail and happy to answer any questions I had. The city inspector showed up the next day to inspect the work and was very impressed with the work done. Thank you Local Electrician for an outstanding job. I will recommend your Business anytime and will use you again when needed.

These guys did a great job for 1/3 less than another bid I got from a well-known company that advertises a lot on local TV. Sean came out for the estimate and was very thorough in explaining everything. Lee and his helper did the work on the scheduled day and everything went very smoothly. They replaced the entire 200 amp panel with a very neat and professional installation. I recommend this contractor highly.

We had been trying to get an electrician out from a service we used to use. They kept putting us off. I looked for another service and found The Local Electrician. They came out the next day and accessed the problem and discussed the solution and the price. They were ready to do the job the next day - we had to have our entire electrical panel replace due to age issues. We were not available and they came on our next available time. They were on time and very professional. The price was reasonable and the service performed was up to code - no issues. I will definitely use them in the future. They are my new electrician for sure.

Edgar was the electrician that performed the work and was on time and professional. I also appreciate the fact that he took the time to not cause more damage to the drywall than what was required to run the new wires. I also appreciate that he explained what he was doing. I can't say enough good things about these guys!. I had 3 different electric companies come to my house to give me a price estimate for the light fixtures I needed to install. The first was one of the big companies and they basically told me that I had to break the bank and get new everything, that my house was on the verge of getting set on fire by Lightning and surges. I'm a new home owner and don't know much about these things so after that scare (and the super high price) I decided to do my research and look into some good family run smaller businesses that may be a little more honest with me regarding the work that needed to be done and the installation of my lights. Someone more consumer oriented. I found two really good companies, one of them was Matthew Arnold, the owner of the local electrician who personally greeted me and was really honest and friendly. He made me feel much more at ease and told me that I was not in danger but only needed a few things updated to be safe at home. He also gave me a good price for the installation of the fixtures and answered all my questions and concerns. He and his college Lee were here yesterday and they were very good! Efficient and friendly!. I'm very happy about my choice and I'm sure that if anything should go wrong I'll have an honest and hard working professional to turn to!. Thank you Matthew!

Excellent work and very professional. They day of the installation a previous job was running over and they texted me significantly before the scheduled start time to tell me they were going to be late. They arrived just before the rescheduled time and got straight to work. They finished the job quickly and did a nice job with the installation. Happy with the work and exceedingly happy with the reasonable cost.

Great Company. I was looking for an electrician to replace my 9 smoke detectors. When googling companies in the area, The Local Electrician had a small number of reviews, but all were very positive, so I gave them a call and very happy I did. They were very prompt in returning my call, gave me a 3 hour window for an appointment and had the courtesy to call me 30 minutes into the window letting me know they would be here toward the end of the window. Very professional and efficient while installing the detectors at a fair price. I will definitely be using them again for future electrical needs.

I'm so glad I called The Local Electrician. I've seen their truck in my neighborhood before and decide to give them a call when my electricity was going haywire. They responded immediately & were at my house within a few hours. I had a dropped neutral that required new under ground lines to be installed from transformer to meter box. Sean explained the whole process and worked hard to get it fixed as soon as possible. He was very knowledgeable and answered my questions in a way that I could understand. As a homeowner, you never know when you'll need an electrician but I'm glad I know to call The Local Electrician when I do.

Super polite and professional (which is rare for a lot of contractors) on my first call over to them. They had an appointment that had freed up the very next day so I booked the time slot on the spot.The next day, on time, Edgar called me to let me know he was 15-minutes away. He arrived promptly, had on PPE due to COVID-19 but pulled his mask down temporarily (as a courtesy) outside the door so we could see his face for safety reasons.Edgar then proceed to go over the diagnostic process, the flat fee that covered the diagnostic and any minor repairs (any major fixes are TBD fees of course). We agreed to the terms and he proceed to go to work on it. He found the issue quickly (home builder wired a 3-way switch incorrectly) and proceeded to fix the wiring.During the entire process, Edgar patiently educated me on the issues he found, and explained to me in details what he would do to correct the issues which was highly appreciated just because I love to learn new things (student for life). Definitely a well deserved 5-stars for Edgar and The Local Electrician! I just saved their phone numbers for any of my future electrical related issues and needs.

The Local Electrician is my hero. They were very responsive to my plea for help when the power went out in my house due to an electrical short near the end of the business day. They did a temporary fix so I had power overnight and the next day completed the permanent fix in less time than they had estimated. And, all for a very reasonable price. My son called to say all the power was off at the house. I called American Home Shield and the electrician they assigned as escalated was going to be the next day. You can't live in Houston on 100 degree days! I looked up these guys - gave them a call and they were at my house within 2 hours and had replaced the 4 breakers that had gotten wet! AWESOME SERVICE! They patiently explained the problem. I highly recommend!
