My wife and I did a lot of research collecting and formulating in advance our goals for our kitchen remodel. Steve Shinn and Aaron Thomas were extremely professional in every phase of the project. Our 1981 semi-custom home in Tempe was not an open floorplan by design. Steve listened and looked at all our research and together we came up with solutions that met our expectations and budget. Steve applied the classic work space triangle concept that is the cornerstone to making our new kitchen chef friendly. He included some extras like the pull out vertical pantry cabinets, deep appliance drawer cabinets and two waist-high spice drawers that are all utilized daily. Soffits were removed to allow full height upper cabinets greatly expanding cabinet capacities.

We wanted the warm look and feel of wood cabinetry. In particular we liked the minimum reveal look associated with modern European style cabinets. Steve did trade-off comparisons for us on locally crafted vs factory cabinets from the east coast. The local source worked out well as some unplanned adjustments were quickly crafted with little delay to the project.

We further challenged Steve with our lighting and power requirements. We have zoned ceiling lighting with small LED can lights as LED's were then becoming reasonably priced. All the appliance power outlets are hidden under the cabinets and under the granite breakfast bar. This solution allowed for a plug free stainless steel continuous backsplash with under cabinet mounted LED lighting.

In summary: Our experience using Homework Remodels was beyond our expectations. They should be high on your list to talk to and see if they can be the solution you have been looking for your remodel.

Needed new shower enclosure in master bath. Audra was great to work with to get estimate and schedule work, Kevin and his team were great, professional, on-time, polite. Yes, it took several months from start to finish but I'm very happy with the results.

We just had our bathroom slightly remodeled by AZ Bathmasters. We moved the shower to where the bathtub was, and where the shower was, we had them change to a closet. Bathmasters came out within two days of us making the initial phone call. We also got quotes from three different companies aside from bathmasters.

I can't say enough about the service we got from AZ bathmasters! There were quite a few things that my wife were unsure of as far as color, style, etc, and we told bathmasters to just use their best judgement. Looking at the finished product, there is not a single thing my wife or I would change! The service we got from them was amazing, great communication throughout the project, and even though we did not specify, they used very high quality hardware and materials. I have no hesitation in giving bathmasters 5 stars and recommending them!!

Holtzman just finished a second bedroom remodeled for a Make A Wish kid, not only did they do a beautiful top-quality work, but they also donated all of the parts and labor, all of their staff and crew put their hearts and souls on this project. We searched several individuals and companies to find TWD had a price that seemed more reasonable than others. Additionally, both Maria, who did all of the drywall repairs, some being rather tricky, and Javier, who did the painting, were sensational. They came on time, called beforehand, were respectful of the property and did a stellar job on everything! We could not be more pleased. When I called to ask for Maria for the 4th day in a row and learned that someone else was coming, I requested Maria remain as she knew exactly what was left to do: I was listened to! His crew was professional, clean, punctual, and completed the project on schedule. Watch out for this company during rush hour traffic. Whoever drives the black Chevy/GMC crew cab towing the Holtzman trailer will bully his way over from the slow lane to the HOV lane almost hitting other vehicles with the trailer.

Just got finish. Way ahead of schedule to our surprise. Our Kitchen reface job and beautiful new granite counter tops, just breath taking.
Republic West representative suggested that we did not need new cabinets, and ended up refacing. He suggested that the boxes were in great shape and why spend the extra money. Hew was right.
With refacing they look brand new. We couldn't be happier with Republic West Home start to finish experience.
