Best Home Addition Project in Phoenix AZ

Jared W., Justin W. and Jake F. did an awesome job, start to finish and Dream Style delivered on their commitment in the Sales Agreement by delivering material to start my job on 12/11/2020. My Sales Agreement allowed until 1/4/2021 for delivery. The installation team started on time and put in two full days to complete the job. They were all professional and paid attention to protecting my property while completing the job. My new shower looks fantastic and includes all of my design requirements including a large locker and soap holder, bench seating and two grab bars for future needs.

We used Structura Remodeling for our remodeling job for the front exterior of our home, to include the installation of a new front door as well as outside lighting. I wasn't sure my request could be accomplished since our home was very traditional and I was looking for a more modern look. Upon meeting with Kobe, the owner, and discussing what we were looking for, Kobe was very attentive and understood our needs. Not only did he get the work done quickly and efficiently, but I can't say enough about the finished results. Absolutely amazing! It was well worth it and so glad we chose Structura remodeling for our remodeling needs.

We recently completed a full tear-out kitchen and master bath replacement with Homework Remodels in our mid-century home (built 1957). It was the second major project on which we engaged Steve Shinn and company. The first was about ten years ago for an addition to our home that added an office/bedroom, laundry room, garage extension, new roof, painting and changes to front and rear patios.

Doing such an extensive project that involved all trades gave us the opportunity to really get to know Steve, the quality of work from his team, and the way he runs his business. Needless to say, we were very satisfied and had no hesitation calling Homework Remodels for this latest project.

We were very pleased to see that Steve was not only still in business following the recession that clobbered so many local companies, but actually had grown his business over that time. Knowing that Steve takes a long-term approach to managing his business, and having seen his dedication to customer satisfaction, we were not surprised to see that Homework Remodels flourished. We had uncertainties about other contracting firms, so we went with the one we knew and with whom we already had a good experience. We had confidence in Homework Remodels, so it was a pretty easy decision.

One of the changes we found, that was of great value to us, is that Steve now had an in-house designer, Sheila, whose experience and expertise was obvious from our first meeting. It made tackling such a large project a much more comfortable experience. Sheila provided a lot of information on materials, fixtures, and design, and told us where to find more on our own.

The Homework team provided guidance every step of the way and did a great job. I would recommend them for their quality of work and great customer service.

Started out as 1 star for non responsive, but since then the company has reached out and done everything it could to be on top of what is happening with the remodel, they assigned a wonderful person named Christine to the project and she has done everything she can to make it clear that what we want will be a long process and explained the steps. I look forward to how this all ends.

professional job wonderful result!!!! little pricey but finally worth it

I recently had my Primary Shower and Guest Shower remodeled and Rise Above Remodeling was one of the best contractor experiences I've ever had. I called multiple companies in the area and many were not even interested in my project or gave me extremely high bids. Rise Above was referred to me by a friend and they were by far the most responsive, honest and reasonably priced companies to deal with. Bret was spot on with his design suggestions and Skylar and his team were extremely professional and communicated well throughout the construction process. I have had no problems with my showers post production and they look great! I would highly recommend Rise Above for any remodeling projects you have - you won't be dissapointed!

We hired A-Z Granite to remodel basically our entire home. I have to say they have exceeded my expectations! My home is flawless! Veny and his team was pleasure to work with. The entire process went very smooth from start to finish. I loved that they paid attention to the small details. From countertop to fire place to floors! Very professional and the quality of their work is amazing! Highly recommend.

Erica and her team were great to work with! They were able to work around my busy schedule and my bathroom remodel turned out better than I could have imagined. I’m already working with them on my next project because I’m so happy with their work!

Watch out for this company during rush hour traffic. Whoever drives the black Chevy/GMC crew cab towing the Holtzman trailer will bully his way over from the slow lane to the HOV lane almost hitting other vehicles with the trailer.

My husband and I hired Legacy to remodel 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, a new sink and Island Kitchen counter and a Kitchen back splash. We did a lot of research before deciding on Legacy. So glad we chose them. The entire Legacy team, Brian, Jeremy, Debbie, Ritchie, Jacob, Floyd and Scott were professional, and extremely good at their various responsibilities. The subs they use are the best! Their tile guy, Saul, worked with Marble, glass, and a penny floor.....and was a true artist with each of the tile surfaces. Excellent quality for the money.

Excellent professional people. They converted our tub into a big shower and the adjoining tiny shower into a great linen closet. Safety and cleanliness were both observed. We think this is the best thing we could have done to improve our living space.

A great family run business! Robert worked with us on two rooms, including flooring and drywall work. He was responsive and hard working, communicating regularly and finished the work faster than he originally projected. Of all the contractors we spoke with, his pricing was the fairest and, by far, the quality of work was above and beyond our expectations. We would readily use West Haven Builders again and highly recommend them.

Trevor has extensive knowledge about all phases of construction and has a great eye for layout and design. Our project required gutting the existing space, including jackhammering the shower floor pan, as well as expanding the footprint of our master bathroom. In addition to handling all phases of the construction, Trevor also guided us through selection of cabinets, plumbing fixtures, tile flooring and a barnwood accent wall. He pointed us to suppliers throughout the Valley, all he has done business with before. The tile work in the shower and floors is meticulous, and beautiful! Our accent wall gives a warmth that we love and he even installed Bluetooth speakers in our shower celing.
Trevor is talented and professional. He’s very easy to work with and will help you achieve your remodeling dreams as he did with us.

SHEWORKS is AMAZING!!! They went above and beyond for me, and we’re so incredibly kind and professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to work with and have install my lights for me. They did a wonderful job and I am so pleased with how everything looks. I highly recommend them, you will not regret it! :)

Honest and reliable

Anthony and his team are well organized and excellent communication all through out the project. When the project was completed my home was left better then expected and I have high expectations!

AZ Neighbor is a very experienced construction company that had the resources and connections to get our job done. We knew what we wanted except for some pesky details. When we wanted cabinets that matched the material and finish of existing cabinets they were able to go outside of their normal process to get them. Both the design department and the project manager / crew foreman were exceptionally easy to work with and had great ideas for those pesky problems. The results were even better than we had envisioned.
We definitely recommend them and will invite them to bid on future projects on our house.

If you want work done on your home and money is no object then this is the place for you. I cannot speak to the quality of the work that they do because it never got that far. I placed a $5000 deposit so they could get started on the design work. I understand that this is a lot of work and they need some sort of certainty that they can recoup some of their expenses. What they came back with was an astronomical bid. I won't get into the whole issue of pricing but here is an example. They had a line item in for repainting the house (all walls, baseboards, doors and ceilings). The amount that they came up with was $7000. Note that this is a 2600 square foot house. After seeing this red flag I met at the house that weekend with 2 painters to get bids for the same work. They came back with bids of $1700 and $2500.

In an effort to get some value for the $5000 that I had already committed I told them that I would still hire them to install the folding wall system in the house. They returned with a bid of $34,956. I have also reached out for competing bids. I have only received one back but it came in at $19,554.25.

I will be looking elsewhere or I will do the work myself. Do yourself a favor and don't even get started here. I cannot believe that if feels good to be walking away from $5000.
