We recently completed a full tear-out kitchen and master bath replacement with Homework Remodels in our mid-century home (built 1957). It was the second major project on which we engaged Steve Shinn and company. The first was about ten years ago for an addition to our home that added an office/bedroom, laundry room, garage extension, new roof, painting and changes to front and rear patios.

Doing such an extensive project that involved all trades gave us the opportunity to really get to know Steve, the quality of work from his team, and the way he runs his business. Needless to say, we were very satisfied and had no hesitation calling Homework Remodels for this latest project.

We were very pleased to see that Steve was not only still in business following the recession that clobbered so many local companies, but actually had grown his business over that time. Knowing that Steve takes a long-term approach to managing his business, and having seen his dedication to customer satisfaction, we were not surprised to see that Homework Remodels flourished. We had uncertainties about other contracting firms, so we went with the one we knew and with whom we already had a good experience. We had confidence in Homework Remodels, so it was a pretty easy decision.

One of the changes we found, that was of great value to us, is that Steve now had an in-house designer, Sheila, whose experience and expertise was obvious from our first meeting. It made tackling such a large project a much more comfortable experience. Sheila provided a lot of information on materials, fixtures, and design, and told us where to find more on our own.

The Homework team provided guidance every step of the way and did a great job. I would recommend them for their quality of work and great customer service.

We got our HVAC unit repaired from Air Handler Unit HVAC manufacturing and installation company. Technicians were attentive and cleaned it wonderfully. Its working as new.

They come out to our home and do an inspection, then give us a quote and schedule the work. They are always reliable and communicate well with us. We have never been disappointed in their work.

Ryan was great to work with. He showed up on time and did a great job.

We had an emergency where all of our Freon leaked out through a puncture in the copper pipe. Seems like a huge job but George was able to complete in in no time and headed up and running within 40 minutes. Great professional service, he offered us his maintenance plan which I recommend to everyone! It will save us from future problems.

Thank you very much for fixing my A/C that other companies told me they had fixed but not really. My unit ran constantly, and would only turn on and off manually for 2 years. The problem was never fixed until today! The guys did a great job. The initial set up from the company that installed my unit was wired completely wrong. They made sure it worked before they left. Finally my A/C is turning on and off on its own! Appreciate the great service and will recommend them to everyone I know.

My AC stopped working over the weekend. It was 105F outside and my condo was getting really hot. Track got a technician out to my property within a couple hours. They quickly diagnosed what was wrong and had it fixed and my condo cooling down in no time. Thank you so much!! :D Would highly recommend them. Very professional and responsive!

These guys made us a beautiful bathroom. They were hard-working, thorough, efficient, and easy to contact throughout the process. I have heard about a lot of nightmare contractors and these guys were the opposite: dependable, honest, and fair. Be careful of this contractor he seems to think he's to good to do certain types of homes. He told us that he picks and chooses the homes that are worth his company's time and told us he didn't need our business. HE WAS VERY RUDE I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY
