After having nightmare experiences with other contractors Good Guys was a breath of fresh air. They listened to what I wanted and after the very first visit gave me a design that was almost exactly what I had envisioned. They also had great suggestions for things I had not considered. They communicated with me every step of the way, even providing pictures and updates via their app while I was traveling. They were very respectful of me and my space and it was the cleanest construction project I have ever lived through. Of course there were a few challenges and changes along the way but they handled them professionally and I never felt like they were trying to increase the scope to increase the budget. I will not hesitate to use them on my next project!

I used Home Makeover Creations to remodel two bathrooms in my home. The entire team did a great job. They showed up on time. Worked hard, cleaned up and completed the project quickly as scheduled. Jeromie alway went the extra mile to explain and helped with selection of materials that were used. In the end I have 2 beautiful bathrooms that I always get complements on. We worked with Hunt’s Kitchen and Design to update our cabinets and would highly recommend them. After getting multiple quotes for the project, they stood out from everyone. They were by far the best to work with on creating the design and in all aspects of communication. They were the only designers who really tuned it into a collaborative process, which eliminated the multiple iterations required by the other people we got quotes from. This resulted in us having a final design and price from them in less than half the time with even more attention to our needs and to how we would use our kitchen. Although we don’t have the biggest or most expensive kitchen, Josh and Jeff made us feel like they were genuinely excited about working with us on the project, and you can tell that they really care about their clients.

This letter of recommendation/review dated January 30, 2023 (hereinafter the Letter of Recommendation) is submitted without reservation.

We are the homeowners that retained Apollo Builders to remediate major damage done to (i) the two-car garage; and (ii) the laundry room. The damage was extensive and required, among other things, reconstruction of the load-bearing walls supporting the garage and the laundry room (hereinafter, the Damaged Areas).

My wife and I are both seniors; unfortunately, my wife suffers from difficult health-related issues that require the intervention of various specialties found at the Mayo Clinic. I stress this point because Tyler Kestner was highly sensitive to these health issues when planning the remediation of our home.

The reconstruction of the Damaged Areas commenced on January 24, 2023, and concluded on January 30, 2023. The Apollo staff were impeccable in the performance of their job, including: (i) on-time arrivals; (ii) assemblage of the materials necessary to complete the remediation without delay or aggravation; and (iii) assuring that each of the subcontractor groups likewise followed the very high work ethic displayed by the Apollo staff.

The restoration of the Damaged Areas is now complete; the work was expertly done in accordance with applicable professional standards. For example, during the work period, Tyler examined continuously the work done by his staff and his long-term retained sub-contractors. (These tradesmen have enjoyed many years’ relationship with Tyler; they also perform their work consistent with the Apollo high work ethic.)

In sum, Apollo, Tyler, the Apollo staff, and assigned subcontractors were the consummate professionals.

Nothing but good things to say about Builders Express. They installed backsplash in our kitchen and filled in a space over our fireplace. They were quick to get the job done and the work was done to perfection. So nice to have someone you can count on!

I use this Company for my two rental properties and my personal residence for all handyman needs. The most important quality of this business is they are reliable, show up when they say, get the job done right. This seems to be harder and harder to find now but Crew of Two is just that!

Be prepared to have your patience tried. We just completed a bathroom remodel This company's definition of time is very unique. They congratulated themselves on a project completed in four weeks. In actuality it was more like six weeks. However, that in itself, is not a big deal. Our extreme frustration was the lack of communication from those in charge. Phone calls were never returned. Texting is out or the question. Being informed as to when certain work would be done NEVER occurred. Apparently they fully expect to put a lock box on your home and come and go as they please. If you do bring up any minor change you'd like during the course of the project, you'd better ensure that it's put in writing. If not, you'll get we don't recall. The help we were promised to select our fixtures, tile, etc., turned out to be; here is the name of a store, let us know when you're done.

All that being said, we were very pleased with the various workers that actually came on site. The level of craftsmanship was very good. Thank goodness for that. We are satisfied with the end result. Even though it wasn't easy.

The agreed to 3 appointment times. Didn't show up or call. They aren't reliable!
