Bobby and team completely remodeled two showers and a bath. They were terrific - customer-focused, detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, and excellent communicators. We decided to use Power Home Remodeling to purchase a new solar system and new doors and windows. After meeting with the sales rep we were confident in the company as they have a great sales pitch. They sold us a promise on the solar system, which was one of the reasons we decided to go with them. Unfortunately we found out after the installation was completed that what we were promised could not be provided. What was actually provided was exactly the opposite of what was promised. Upon further inspection of the installation it was apparent that the installation team took as many shortcuts as possible to get the job done as fast as possible while also leaving a buffet of nuts, bolts and fastening hardware on my dog run for my dog to munch on. While they did complete the job it was apparent that craftsmanship is not one of their priorities. I will give them credit, once I called to complain they did come to back fix their work the next day after I explained what I wanted to make it more aesthetic .However, I feel that when paying as much as we did for this project the craftsmanship should be top notch to maintain an aesthetic appearance. On to the windows: installation was completed in one day which was impressive. One of the windows was damaged upon arrival which I understand is out of their control. However, all we got was don’t worry we’ll replace it. Which I know that will happen but we have not heard from them since for an update. One of the windows is left unfinished as it is still missing the trim on the inside which apparently was not delivered with the windows from the factory. Sliding screens for sliding glass doors also delayed from factory which was actually a good thing because that gave us some time to use doors to find a couple things wrong with the doors. When screens were installed we let them know about them and they said they would take care of it. Unfortunately we both had to leave for work so they could not fix the door. One of the screen doors won’t close without much manipulation to use the lock and it has now come off the track on the bottom! I understand these are minor issues and some things are out of their control but again when we’re paying a lot of money for a project I expect top notch customer service and craftsmanship. Overall the quality of the product is great and looks great. My issue was the lack of communication and lack of craftsmanship. I will admit that I do not answer my phone when I don’t know the number due to the ridiculous amount of spam calls we receive. So they may have called. However, if they have been calling, they have never left a voicemail to let us know they were trying to get a hold of us. In conclusion we do love the product as it is beautiful and of great quality; however, we do have buyers remorse as the experience did not meet our expectations.

Small family owned contractor with sense for detail

March 2018 referred by online contractor listing thru USAA. Russ Hermann personally came out and did all the measurements and provided us a quote to build a covered patio on our house. At that time they had good reliable people and they did a great job, all done very professionally and Russ did a final walkthru and touchup. we were very satisfied. The house looked great after the job was done.
2021- Apparently the company has changed and added a partner Mario Rios who is not reliable, does not follow-up on the job and cannot be contacted during or after the job is done. The work that was discussed was not done but prompt payment was expected anyway. I paid them off to get the lien off the house and had to finish the job myself. Mario uses his family to do the work and does not provide guidance to them on what is to be done except by phone. Looks like Russ Hermann is not running the company anymore and the lack of quality on the job and after really shows. I cannot recommend this company anymore.

Garth and staff were excellent. They went above and beyond to make our kitchen gorgeous! They were able to repair our dog chewed corners, replace a water damaged pony wall and had an amazing granite guy to do our counter tops. If anything wasn’t to our satisfaction Garth immediately addressed the issue and fixed it.
