We contracted with Holtzman Home Improvement to remodel the shower and water closet area of our master bathroom. The folks we worked with from Johny in sales to Grace in design were great to work with. Grace managed to avoid having to do any marriage counseling while my wife and I worked through the design and materials selection process. Will, the project manager for our project, did an outstanding job., he was easy to communicate with, responded quickly to my phone or text messages, took the time to explain things to me patiently when I had questions, and kept me informed about schedules. The folks who did the work; framing, plumbing, electrical, and tiling were professional and did quality work. They invariably completed their work ahead of schedule. My only complaint would be with how long the project took from signing the contract to completing the work but all in all an excellent outfit to work with..

Fixed some drywall after water damage. Great job, wall looks brand new, texture is perfect. Price was decent. Very happy customer.

There were many things that went wrong with our remodel, but I'll keep it rather short.

1. We had two project managers. One got fired. The other was intoxicated on nearly every occasion that we spoke to him. He would angrily call us up on weekends and interrogate us about when the contractors left our house. On another occasion, he claimed that he was probably drunk when he took our call at 3:30pm on a Thursday. So drunk that he didn't remember it. He accused us of lying until he looked at his phone receipts. Our sink detached from our counter about 4 months after completion and after several no-shows, I confronted him about it. He hung up on me.

2. We received a design for our kitchen and we only asked for two things specialized cabinets: a cubby cabinet and a spice rack pull-out. Both cabinets were forgotten about. The spice rack was added after completion. The cubby stayed the way it was because the project manager told us there was nothing they could do now and it would require the tear down of the backsplash. We should have pushed back on this, but we didn't. Our design, in total, was missing the two specialty cabinets we asked for as well as additional cabinets that could not be added due to a lack of space.

3. At some point during the re-install, our dishwasher was damaged. It was placed back in and leaked ever since. Now our new cabinets are removed due to the water damage. Maxum sent a contractor to come look at the damage. He said that Maxum would get back to me. That was a week ago and I'm tired of waiting for them to do the right thing as we have always been patient.

Do yourself a favor and look at their ROC cases (ROC 202770). Two cases have led to discipline or resolution and meanwhile there are two pending cases. Please avoid this company.

I currently work for Ben and finally found an employer that isn’t afraid or to good to bust his butt day in day out on the whole project with his employees! He is very meticulous, knowledgeable, and extremely accurate in all of his projects. He is the definition of a caring boss and professional businessman!... Can’t wait to see how many more families dream homes we make come to life!

I recently had my Primary Shower and Guest Shower remodeled and Rise Above Remodeling was one of the best contractor experiences I've ever had. I called multiple companies in the area and many were not even interested in my project or gave me extremely high bids. Rise Above was referred to me by a friend and they were by far the most responsive, honest and reasonably priced companies to deal with. Bret was spot on with his design suggestions and Skylar and his team were extremely professional and communicated well throughout the construction process. I have had no problems with my showers post production and they look great! I would highly recommend Rise Above for any remodeling projects you have - you won't be dissapointed!

Anthony was very helpful and very knowledgeable his prices can't be beat. I was very impressed with his showroom and the one on one atinchen I received..The kitchen turned out amazing will definitely do island with him and refer him to anyone who needs any remodeling done.

Robert Davis (West Haven Builders) has done several remodeling projects in our home for my husband and I. Each job was completed just as we had hoped and asked for. We had seen some of his previous work in other satisfied customers homes and knew we wanted him to help us. His estimates and quotes were very reasonable. He never promised something he couldn't do. He stayed within the estimates and went above and beyond to ensure we were pleased with the job. We appreciated his honesty, good communication and his patience with us if we decided to make a slight change midstream. He is a professional in every sense! We highly recommend Robert!

Easy to communicate and very empathetic to the remodel. They not only managed my issues with bad weather and a whole load of old bathroom issues, but was open to working through the issues with patience and grace. I was a little pessimistic regarding this type of walk-in shower remodel with my older home - but found true artists of their skill. I'm not easily impressed but this time… Absolutely!! If you want work done on your home and money is no object then this is the place for you. I cannot speak to the quality of the work that they do because it never got that far. I placed a $5000 deposit so they could get started on the design work. I understand that this is a lot of work and they need some sort of certainty that they can recoup some of their expenses. What they came back with was an astronomical bid. I won't get into the whole issue of pricing but here is an example. They had a line item in for repainting the house (all walls, baseboards, doors and ceilings). The amount that they came up with was $7000. Note that this is a 2600 square foot house. After seeing this red flag I met at the house that weekend with 2 painters to get bids for the same work. They came back with bids of $1700 and $2500.

In an effort to get some value for the $5000 that I had already committed I told them that I would still hire them to install the folding wall system in the house. They returned with a bid of $34,956. I have also reached out for competing bids. I have only received one back but it came in at $19,554.25.

I will be looking elsewhere or I will do the work myself. Do yourself a favor and don't even get started here. I cannot believe that if feels good to be walking away from $5000.

my name is Carlos Varin I live in Tempe, Steve from Miracle Method of Tempe came out to the house Tuesday 11-28-17 to fix my shower pan which had some cracks in it and a section of the wall that had chipped. today when I saw the finished product I couldn't believe my eyes, looked like a brand new shower in there. Thank you Miracle Method of Tempe I will most definitely recommend you to friends and family who need help with their bathroom or kitchen!

update 1-9-2018-Steve was back at my home again but this time to do my hall bathroom countertop. miracle method did it again, looks so much better it's definitely worth it to have them come out and update the place without having to rip out a counter and thus potentially damaging the cabinet underneath. have been so pleased, MM will be back out to do the master bath counter top within 2 months or so. the hits just keep on coming MM, keep up the amazing work you do.

Everado is a wonderful communicator! He was always friendly and responsive and made my experience seamless and easy. He sent pictures along the way showing his work and making sure that everything was done well throughout the process. Highly recommend them!!

I was given information about everything that was done until the whole process was finished. All that was told to me was done exactly as told. I had no problems and my countertops were professionally done and I would recommend Diamond Granite Stone to anyone

We are now going on 6 months trying to remodel 800 square feet of existing space and extend garage out. Designer was inept. Multiple things that should have been in initial design weren't (ie: lighting design and reasonable electrical layout, etc). Now these are change order over runs that caost time and extra money. Have had to have multiple fights to have things done right and over simple corrections multiple times. Currently waiting for electrical to be completed finishing 4th week (800sqft totally open!). They are now the joke of the neighborhood. Superintendent no longer would speak to us over the phone or in person, would only text message because he didn't like complaints about the work. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Plainly they don't really care.
