The Technician showed up quickly, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had him service our walk-in and they saved us from losing all of our food.

This is less of a review, and more of a character referral. I'm an HVAC tech, I used to work with Aleks years ago before he started South Mountain Air. I don't live in AZ anymore, but when friends and family ask who to call, I still refer them to Aleks, simply because I know he's an honest guy that cares to do the job right. I don't get anything for these referrals, I actually haven't spoken to Aleks in years. But I knew him well enough then that I still trust him to this day.

You may not always get great news when it comes to repairs needed for your A/C, but if the news comes from Aleks, you can trust that it's the truth.

It was a tremendous kind of service in handling the HVAC air conditioning repair. I was humbled and grateful to the repairman sent by the company for me. He proved everything to me that helped him to achieve the repair service. Indeed, I realized that he was quite qualifying in this kind of field. Even if there was a little problem while he was doing the process, he managed to make it fixed in the end. Good job!

Scottsdale Air has excellent office help and expert field technicians. Our tech (we always ask for Scott) diagnoses the issues with our units... carefully informs us of his findings and what the 'fix' is... and takes care of the problem or maintenance. Having Scott come by is like having a visit from a good friend a couple of times a year. We love this company and would give them an even higher rating if it were offered.

Jimmy and his guys are the best. You will not meet better and more polite people to take care of your HVAC needs. Love these guys!

Great place to work.

Extremely knowledgeable. I had 5 Ac companies out to quote a new unit, moving ducts and duct repair. Other companies wanted to charge more and they did not want to move any ducts or returns. Brett actually wants to fix the problem, and he wants to do it the right way the first time he goes into detail to let you know what needs to change and how it should be done. This is your AC guy.

Beware, this company is questionable in their practices! We had One Hour Air Conditioning out last week after one of our units went out. It took them 3 days to get here. The technician gave us 3 different stories as to why the unit was not working. We have 8 year old units which were purchased and installed through One Hour Air. We have a 10 warranty on all parts and labor for the units through the manufacturer. One Hour Air was claiming parts and labor were not covered under warranty and wanted to charge us $2300 ( and could take up to 2 months for the part to come in). Long story short , parts and labor were covered 100% and we called another another company to come out. We needed a new compressor because the txv valve went bad. We have air conditioning again! I feel One Hour would have taken our money and charged the manufacturer also, making double profit on our situation. We called the manufacturer and gave our unit's serial numbers and they said all parts in the units are covered for 10 years ( One Hour Air refused to call the manufacturer). I think there are shady practices going on in this company, very disappointing since we have been loyal customers for the last 9 years. Take your business to a company that is trustworthy.

As what normally happens, Fourth of July weekend rolls around and (Saturday) I step out into the garage to find it flooded; water gushing from the now defunct water heater. I have Old Republic insurance and I called them. They emailed Jay's Plumbing Service and AOC-Arizona Plumbing...In addition to the Old Republic email, I also called Jay's Plumbing and AOC-Arizona Plumbing and got recordings, left a message...That was Saturday, it's now Monday, still waiting on a phone call. (Thankfully I don't need them anymore!) Because I have an elderly parent living with me, this water heater had to be fixed the same day. I called Valleywide Plumbing. Matthew Kondrath answered (Yes, a real person answered the phone!) There was no B.S. with Matthew. He told me the time he would be out and how much the cost was to replace the water heater. No hidden fees or holiday up-charges were loaded into the cost. In fact, the cost was barely higher than what I had paid for the previous hot water tank eight years earlier. Matthew told me he had another job he was finishing up on. He said he would pick up the new hot water tank from his supplier and be at my property by noon (which, btw, was on the other side of town from where Matthew was working.) I felt like a ton of bricks had been lifted from my back when he said he would be out. Two hours later, Matthew was at my house at noon, right on time as discussed. He was kind enough to work with me and interact with the pain-in-the-neck Old Republic Insurance people needing tons of information in order to process a partial refund to me through my insurance. Matthew drained and hauled out the old, broken water heater. Put in the new one, did some pipefitting, wrote up the order/receipt and left around an hour or so later. All of this was in 110 degrees by the way. Matthew was pleasant, knowledgable, kind and efficient I had never used this company before, I will use them for any and all services they provide. Thank you Matthew for taking time out of your holiday weekend to help me and my family...it is truly appreciated and will not be forgotten.

My AC problem was quickly identified. Before calling Phoenix AC and Heating Experts, I called my home warranty company, and they sent someone who couldn't find the problem. I sought a second opinion from Phoenix AC and Heating Experts, and they quickly identified and corrected the problem. I'm glad I called them because they went above and beyond my expectations. I wholeheartedly endorse Phoenix AC and Heating Experts and their excellent service.

SUB CONTRACTORS BEWARE - Jay will tell you he pays quickly 7 days but he will not, 64 days actual payment.

Jay will micro manage your job, stack subs together and then demand you take his 10 calls and 10 texts a day to give him updates.

Jay does not take anything into consideration when it comes to the jobs progress like RAIN and its effect on a subs ability to work/deliver an on time project.

Jay will ask for favors just help me out on this ..... always pushing for more for free.

Jay will not take your call once the job is done and you hit the 8th day (remember I noted he says 7 days to pay) and when you call the gals in the office they know the song and dance well...... well it is actually 7 days after we are paid and and and......

Jay will not pay you what you bid or are due he is the back bill king.... he replaces OLD items with brand new start of the art items WITH OUT telling you and then just deducts it from your pay.

Jay will not SHOW you any of the items he replaces or the items he has to fix (we take pictures and email them to your subs with a 48 hour notice to get the items repaired) and for a guy who micro manages ever minute of the job you would think a 2 minute call to say hey you better fix this or else would be easy.

Last but not least, Jay will smile while eating the lunch you buy for him and tell you he is 'not that contractor but guess what, I am here to tell you he is!

Beware or you to may work for free (or a loss) if you work for Metal Masters and Jay.
