I needed a technician to service my AC unit after a storm took out the power to my home. I called Express Home Services. They set up the appointment and the technician Johnny B. showed up early, told me what he was going to do and how long it would take. He was professional, courteous and through. I will definitely use their services in the future!

The morning of our 9:30am appointment to list our house was saved by this company. We had a clogged drain in our upstairs bathroom and my husband informed me just before 7:30am that we needed a plumber. He’d been working on it and apparently now it was causing a leak in the basement. I called and the woman that answered was on the other line with another customer and promised she’d promptly return my call, she called us back and sent us service by 8:15. They were incredibly friendly, timely, professional, and no gross plumber crack with this company he was crisp clean and personable. Can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend to anyone! Also I’m told their service was very reasonably priced!

We own a duplex, and Bob has helped us over the years with hooking up new faucets, garbage disposals, and replacing old drain pipes with new ones that aren't filled with 50 years of sludge and rust. Today he came out with one day's notice to replace one of our water heaters which was 16 years old. Lo-and-behold, the other unit's water heater began to leak while he was here. Unbelievable! It turned out to have been leaking inside for years and filled with rust. So he ended up replacing both for us. Yes, it was an expensive day for us, but, hey, they are good for years now. His work is professional, and he takes a great deal of pride in doing it well. We highly recommend Bob and Nichols Plumbing.

Worst service ever. Came to fix my gas leak and he was upset with my insurance company saying they were taking too long after he agreed to work with them. He started the job and then said wasn’t doing it anymore because he had other jobs to do. He also tried to give me temporary fix for my gas leak. Who does that? Who gives a temp fix for a gas leak? I live with someone that has a disability and we had no heat and almost had to go to the hospital because it was so cold in the house. Good luck to him and everyone else that hires him. So much more to say about him but not worth it. Just wanted to share a long story short review.

Update to Waterfield response:
1. You should have said that you aren’t going to deal with them when we first spoke on the phone but you agreed to do it.

2. I didn’t violate anything. I was doing what the insurance company told me to do. You never told me that you were not suppose to be on the phone with them. You said yourself that had to talk to them.

3. Yes I signed your form and I was willing to pay myself and deal with the insurance but again you needed to speak with insurance per the insurance company. I can’t give them information that need. You are the professional and knows what needs to be done and what is needed to complete the job. That’s what they needed.

4. When I told you where BGE found the gas leak you said it was somewhere else and attempted to fix it but then your tool still found the leak. Where BGE said it was and you said you needed to fix that and needed to buy the part. But you wanted to just put a straight pipe in it’s place. I’m no plumber but i didn’t want something that I wasn’t comfortable with. You agreed to get the part. But since I guess they were taking too long for you, you decided not to complete the job.

I need to protect myself just like you do.
Of course I was mad, you just packed up your things and giving me a tone like I was the one giving you a hard time and started leaving.

Chris was courteous, listened to my problem, arrived at my address with the right tools on time, quickly took care of the clogged drain from outside in the backyard and was on his way within 20 mins. I love with his professionalism and promptness would recommend to others in the Detroit area.

Replaced Heat Pump with Gas Furnace with Air Conditioning system.

Statewide Plumbers saved the day. I had issues with Baltimore Sewer company and the terrible and over priced work that they did. Statewide came in and for a very reasonable price fixed the mess the Baltimore Sewer left me with. They are quick to respond. Very professional, and the quality of work is exceptional. I fully recommend this fantastic company!!!!!!!!!

I had a truly great experience with this company. Everyone was timely, communicative, prompt and more importantly patient with me when I asked for time to get a second opinion. They ended up being the best priced option and also were reliable and friendly to work with. Most importantly, I felt I could trust them entirely. Highly recommend!

Excellent service! Arrived on time (7:30 am) and immediately went to work. Once completed, cleaned up the area and removed all debris. Excellent service with a smile!

2 other plumbing companies couldn't fix a difficult clog. Ace stayed late and got the job done at a great price. Very thrilled.

Paul's plumbing did a great job for me, and I will definitely use them again when I have other plumbing needs. I had a broken pipe and had to shut the water off to my whole house. Paul called me back in a timely manner and fit me right in for the next day, which was awesome since it is hard to find someone this time of year! The plumber that came out was very knowledge-able and got me up and running in an hour. Very pleased!

Given your previous reviews, please take the time to consider your answers. They definitely come off the wrong way and aren't inviting or welcoming. I understand it can be frustrating to get forwarded a job request on a quote but customers are still interested on any estimate they get. I thought it was me reading the tone a certain way by your response, but after seeing your reviews there is a pattern. Why start with 'We don't do cheap projects' ... and then suggesting what I can look up online' understand that perhaps that is exactly what the customer is doing ( due diligence) and doesn't need suggestions on how they sort through estimates. All you have to do is provide the quote, and feel confident on what your company provides. Please take the time to consider approaching yelp inquiries differently.

Call the company for the first time a man answer the phone did not tell me the company name just said hello super standoffish I asked if he can come out to check out my home he said no he can’t I asked him if he can refer to anybody he said no and hung up on me super weird I would not recommend them
