So far just a diagnosis but very courteous and thorough and answered my many questions.EDIT: the above was after the first consult and bid. After that, this went way downhill and I have no idea how the Google reviews are so positive for this company. They bid two tasks (replace coil; make airflow uniform) and per the internet provided local estimates, they were high on both. Both jobs were supposed to be done in one day and only the first was. Nice techs. The second task became a nightmare of people not showing up or showing up without parts or communications. I lost count but think it took five visits to complete. One senior guy (Cory) saved the day by coming out twice and establishing a plan for a very simple job. Also today when they finished they didn’t have the right tool (flow meter) to demonstrate the job was done properly.Besides Cory and the techs, the phone games are bad and the internal communications are worse. I’m stunned I didn’t get a call earlier from someone at a high level with at least an explanation as to why this took so much to resolve.Regrettably with no reach out from ownership I have no reason to recommend this contractor, who not only is Big Bear but also run a few other HVAC companies under different names.
