We needed to replace our central air/heating unit. I went on line and after reading reviews on Lee's, this appeared to be the obvious phone call........and it WAS. All in all, All Star did resolve the following issues over the course of a week and a half. The bathroom was supposed to take 3 days and it took a total of 12, due to all of the issues. The supervisor was very responsive and handled everything after it was reported, but I wanted others to be aware of how miserable the experience was for us.

-Added tape to our saltillo tile and removed the finish. To repair it, they spray painted the saltillo (also hit the wall).
-Had to come back and hand scrape the floors and restain and seal them, as well as re-paint the trim
-Installed a defective toilet that leaked on the new floors.
-The project manager forgot to add water to it, which caused the valve to break. He would not fix it without charging us $375, which we had to get waived by the supervisor.
-Had to re grout the floor due to the defective toilet because the grout was stained black (it was supposed to be white)
-Mysteriously, all of our purchased parts (from Ferguson's, a reputable store) were defective when they installed them
-Had to redo the tile to remove defective parts
-Threw away our baseboards and had to buy new, threw the new baseboard away and had to re-buy base boards for the second time
-When they installed the trim, it is not flush with the floors
-Did not install hot water - I had to boil water to take a bath
-Shower spout was defective and was not pulling water through the shower head
-When they laid the new trim, they marked the drywall with about a 15 inch scratch.
-Overall, messiest contractors we've worked with. They laid mats down but didn't use them much. We had to clean up after each crew left. Still removing drywall from the cabinets and mirrors.

I'm glad that the supervisor was so responsive. He called daily and gave me updates; however, this was the worst experience we've had with a contractor.

Who doesn't want an honest contractor!? John is that guy!!! He called me and after I told him my problem he said, I'm going to save you $100 and he walked me through how to fix the problem I was having with my garbage disposal and it was FIXED!!! My goodness, you just don't get this kind of service and honesty today anymore. He even helped me fix the issue I thought I had with an electrical outlet so I didn't have to hire an electrician and all over the phone. So guess who my new plumber is for ALL my plumbing needs and more!? Yep...THANK YOU JOHN!!!!!!!!!

Jack is a very knowledgeable, professional and great person. I had my AC unit replaced as well as water heater system changed. Had no problems since then. Jack is always on time, high quality job, and very affordable. A great and trustworthy company. Highly recommend it.

I would just like to Thank Justin for being so considerate, helpful and kind to me. As an 88 year old disabled lady you don't find too many like him nowadays. I was so pleased with not only his service but also his mannerisms and the fact that he took his time to make sure I understood what was going on, what the problem was and what he did to resolve the issue. I would reccomend Justin 100 percent.
