Best Water Filter Install in Fort Worth TX

S.W.A.T Plumbing - Fort Worth, TX Plumber
Terry and Lindsey are the best. We had a leak in two showers and the first plumber sent worsened the problem and argued on it. Lindsey took
It upon on herself to actually understand the problem and get the right plumber on the call. Without her customer obsession, we would have run into a big flood. Then she assigned Terry to the job. He is the best tech and plumber. His quality of work is excellent. I’m very impressed with his work quality and professionalism. Would recommend him and hire him for any future job.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Plumber
Curtis was very professional, courteous and on time. He took the time to answer my questions and explained the warranty terms as well as the recommended steps that I would need to take in the future. The installation is good and I am very happy with his work. This is the second installation Benjamin Franklin has done for me, the first being in 2007. Never had an issue. I would recommend Benjamin Franklin and Curtis to anyone requesting my advice on a plumbing company. I had a slight smell of gas and Joe Azcona immediately came out and assured me there was no danger of fire or explosion. He promptly fixed the problem. Joe was also extremely helpful professional and courteous and promptly arrived when I needed assurance. I am convinced from all of my experiences with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing technicians, as well telephone staff, that there is no better company to service my plumbing needs.

NCT Plumbing and Repair Services Plumber
Punctual, professional, no complaints – except for one biggie: the price (which I agreed to, of course, before the work was performed, but just didn’t want to mess with trying to call another plumber). It was just extremely expensive, I thought, for what we had done (even with a “10% discount”), so very unlikely we would use this company again.

Then Michael the plumber came over the same night within minutes of each other and was ready to get to work with the same positive attitude. They fixed the issue in less time then expected and I look forward to doing business with this team again on my next home projects. Thank you!

L&S Mechanical Plumber
After winter storm Uri, most plumbers were working hard and charging between $800-$1k for the installation alone of a water heater. My home is only 2 years old and the plumbing/HVAC was done by L&S. I called on Thursday after the storm and a repair tech was at my house Saturday morning (lightning fast compared to the vast majority of stories I’ve heard). The technician installed the new water heater in 1 hr ($125/hr labor) and I was given the water heater at cost. This company decided to help their customers after the devastating storm rather than take advantage of the situation. People like this give me hope for contractors and the willingness to be decent we should all strive for when help is needed. They’ve earned my trust and heartfelt appreciation.

S.W.A.T. Plumbing - Aledo, TX Plumber
Had a leak in an upstairs bathroom that manifested itself in the roof of a lower bedroom. I called my home warranty guys who sent SWAT out. The plumber arrived and looked at my issue. Told me it was due to faulty tile work and shower run over. His suggestion was either to replace the tile work or he could cut a hole in the wall to see where the leak was but he was certain that it was the tile work. I didn't want to do that so he left I fixed the tile work. The leak came back so I called a plumber that I trusted and was fine paying out of pocket. Turns out it was just the valve in the downspout that was leaking. The plumber diagnosed it in 5 seconds and showed me the issue in 30 seconds without cutting anything. Basically I spend $75 with SWAT for them to give me bogus advice and a suggestion to tear out my tile work or cut a wall. Very dissapointed.-UPDATEI just happened to check my reviews and there was a response. Half of the response is focused on the insurance co-pay. That’s good because I wanted to warn folks about insurance companies being tied to SWAT and that SWAT is a waste of money. So you should threaten to leave your home insurance policy if SWAT is who the want to send you. More importantly, the note that tech wanted to do “further investigation” but was prohibited is an obvious use of language to obfuscate the truth. Yes, I prohibited the tech from cutting my wall because my sense was that he was incompetent. So really it was a good thing that I prohibited him wouldn’t you say? I’m no genius but if the first solution for investigation is cutting a wall and leaving me to foot the bill, it makes sense to get a second opinion. What’s funny is that the second option took less time than SWAT’s visit and also offered an actual solution. Here is what the real plumber that I called did:1. Turn on the faucet (SWAT tech did not)2. See that a slight leak was coming out of the base of the downspout (SWAT obviously did not do this)3. Unscrewed the downspout to see what was going on (I didn’t know this was possible, I would assume that a plumbing tech from SWAT would know this. But of course SWAT never demonstrated because he wanted to cut a hole in my wall)4. Turned water on and showed the downspout diverter valve leaked backwards toward the wall when closed for shower operation.5. Ordered and installed new downspout and valve.6. No more problems.SWAT’s response shows that they are:A. IncompetentB. ClownsC. DirtbagsD. All of the above
