A great crew with positive attitude. Dave (owner) had agreed to run a gas line for me while they were here to upgrade the furnace. It turned out to be a more difficult job than expected and required an unexpected second visit. To his credit, Dave stuck to his original quote, they got it done and did a solid job and we're happy with the new furnace and gas stove. Every one of these guys - Tom, Josh, Ian, Mikai - are great to work with and they are the only guys I'll call for HVAC and related service.

I am very happy working with Kevin M. He was very responsive and helpful and definitely a great value compared to others in the market. I have also used their preventative services and that was also a great experience!

Our A/C gave up just before the onset of the heat that came with the 4th of July, which fell on a Thursday. They could have someone out possibly Friday, but we opted for the following Monday, for ease of planning.
The tech sent out (wish I could remember his name) was timely, quite courteous, and professional. Unfortunately, he delivered the news I was expecting. Your outside unit has a leak, its old, should probably replace it, but I can attempt to fix it if you'd like
Seth, a sales rep came out the following morning, sized up the situation, and explained some options. We gave it some thought, and had a phone call with Seth and Steve (the owner) Our questions were answered, and we opted to go with a new heat pump set up. I called around to a few other shops, just to price check. Now, Poorman's was competitive, but not the cheapest. BUT, the professionalism and knowledge that everyone has shown so far, and the quality Trane unit we were getting easily offset the few hundred dollar difference, plus they were able to install it quicker than anyone else!
The installation crew showed the same professionalism that I had come to expect from Poormans, and they had us up and running in 3-4 hours. By Friday of the same week, we were able to come home to a cool house.
I can't wait to see the difference our new Trane heat pump makes on our monthly bills!
Hopefully we won't need any other furnace our A/C work done in the near future, but if we do, we'll call Poorman's.

I received quotes from probably 8-10 highly rated and reviewed businesses in Fort Wayne and these guys were absolutely the best deal and it wasn’t even close. They gave me a quote for a two stage furnace (others were offering a one stage) and a AC unit for less than what the competition quoted me for a single stage furnace and ac unit. They also gave me a 4 year 0% financing while the other companies were trying to push me into a 10 year 10-13% interest rate. These guys were top notch, not pushy, and all around super easy to deal with. Always get multiple quotes but make sure these guys are one of the quotes you get because I’m confident they’ll give you a way better deal.

Absolutely wonderful service! We needed plumbing work done and we were in a time crunch and Mark came to the rescue! I will never choose another plumbing company after I saw the quality of work Mark did for us. This is an honest company and mark is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Let me set the scene here. Friday night, 8PM. Just got home from work. Clogged sink with a sink full of dirty dishes. It happens with two kids and a wife who doesn't like to use our dishwasher. I work all weekend and I have to have a working kitchen sink. Call around and on my third call Summer's was by far the least expensive. Gentlemen by the name of Dallas calls me and gives me the prices, says he is about 20 minutes from being done with his current call and he will give me a call if I would still like to have him come out. Also gives me the prices if I choose to make a regular appointment for Monday. Dallas pulls up around 9:15PM and when I say he ran the 100 feet of so called Titan Pipe cleaner SEVEN times, I wouldn't be exaggerating. He was here until almost midnight running this thing and we couldn't figure out why it wasn't coming unclogged. With determination and resentment he finally broke the clog. 5 out of 5 would definitely recommend.

They were able to come out right away to replace a broken water heater. Great price and service.
