Best Water Heater Systems in Durham NC
I recently had a plumbing emergency on Sunday related to a contractor from TWC drilling a hole in my main water line flooding my basement bathroom and floor. In a panic I searched local plumbers and found Carrboro plumbing. I was extremely pleased with the fast and efficient service and the quality of the work. What could have been a nightmare, Chris made it seem like an easy stressless fix. I will definitely use him in the future for any plumbing needs I may have.

Called on a Monday morning because we had no water. They provided a time they could arrive the same day and were right on time. Spent 15 minutes at our home, changed our filter, diagnosed the problem, and charged us a minimal fee to fix our problem. Incredibly honest, on time, reliable, and dependable. Not only will I use them in the future, but I've shared their contact information with everyone I know. When you find a trustworthy business you definitely appreciate it.

I have nothing but praises for my experience. I was given a window of 8:00am to 11:00am. Edwin and (I forgot his associate's name) showed on time. They were friendly, professional, warm and patient with me. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home. This is completely contrary to the service I received from a competitor. He showed late, did not cover his work boots, tried to bully me into additional work and was extremely very unprofessional. The competitor, Happy Home, wanted to charge me $525.00. Pure-Line's cost was $236.00.

CDK plumbing is wonderful. I called them originally to fix my water heater. The owner, Dan, came over right away to diagnose the problem and was able to get it fixed quickly. They are very reliable, do great work, and are priced fairly. Since then, I've called on them a couple more times for other plumbing needs.

Bought an old house that needed a ton of repairs - sinks installed, showers switched out, etc etc. Basically everything and anything plumbing related was needed. Ethan with Joseph Rose responded quickly, gave us a free estimate, and his pricing was also the best from the quotes we got. He was able to start within 2 weeks. Organized, efficient, professional and honest. Can't really ask for anything more. I also felt very safe with home alone as a woman which is important. Great service - would hire again.

I was pounced on by these people in Home Depot. They were offering a $9.00 inspection. That was when I should've know better. My HVAC system WAS working with no issue, but he found defective items with a bill of over $6000. He suggested with that price I should buy a new furnace. The parts he said needing replacing....part#1: $1,600k (found on www for $166.) item#2, $400. (found on www for $43.)... Item#3 $438. (found on www for $79.).I was able to get my system working again after I found their Tech disconnected a wire to run his tests and didn't put the wire back on its connector properly. Thus his crazy diagnosis that he was unable to get my furnace to turn on. Thank goodness we were able to fix what he caused.I should've read the reviews before I let this company into my home. My bad.UPDATE::::::::::(1) Lady there is no reason for me to contact you. I caught your dishonesty and YOUR company invited me to review you and I did, HONESTY.(2) I brought someone else in today. They found nothing wrong with the parts your technician said was my problem. ($6000. worth of a repair)(3) BUT>>> your tech missed that the units' motherboard was my problem. a $334. repair.Well this is one senior citizen that didn't get sucked in.. Keep the $10.00, you must need it more then I.How do you people sleep at night?

TLDR; Unreal same-day repair, total professionals, great price, would hire again in an instant.
Hard to overstate how excellent these guys were from start to finish. The giant stormwater culvert under our backyard had shifted and broken our sewer main underground. There was unspeakable filth and a lot of it. Zach came out less than an hour after our phone call and scoped the pipe, found the breakage, showed us and explained everything. When I told him I was considering a DIY repair he walked me through the entire plan and even gifted me one of his wrenches bc I didn't have the right size.
Ultimately my (very wise and beautiful) wife convinced me to let the pros tackle this one. Zach gave us a quote with no BS, emailed it to us on the spot from his phone, and then figured out a way to get us scheduled for the same day. (Other plumbers were telling us 1-2 weeks wait time just for the scope.) He and Hutch were back right when they said they would be and went to work. Once they had dug out around the pipe they realized the job was more complicated than they had thought - so they altered the original simple plan and basically rebuilt a whole section of the sewer main so that if the culvert continued to shift in the future, the main would be better protected this time. This also meant lowering the entire section of pipe, while digging underneath the concrete culvert, while standing in 18 inches of very nasty mud. It was clearly more work than they had quoted me for, but they honored the original quote to the penny. When everything was done, they re-scoped the pipe another time to verify everything was smooth and watertight inside. They also completely cleaned up the entire area, including backfilling and raking a huge pile of soil I had dug out myself the day before.
All told: one-day service, total professionalism, an above and beyond repair, and a better price than I was quoted anywhere else. Oh yeah and they subtracted the cost of the initial scope from the repair bill. Thinking about it, it's probably single best tradesman experience I've ever had. Give these guys your business already.

We would like to express our gratitude to Plumbing Giant for the excellent service we received. Our plumber was punctual and friendly, taking his time to explain the process of drain clearing thoroughly and answer any questions that we had. He clearly knew his trade well and had all the necessary equipment on hand, including the spare part required to complete the job fast.

A1 Electrical did a wonderful job on the electrical work for the renovation of our community kitchen. The owner, William D Taylor, listened carefully to our plans and gave us expert advice that helped us reach our goals in a cost-effective way. His knowledge and skills made for a stress-free experience as he fit his work in around the work of the other tradespeople -- and he stepped up to help community members with some DIY tasks that proved more challenging than expected. We're hoping to work with him again on future projects.

Josh is wonderful to work with. He’s kind, considerate, timely, and easy to communicate with. He replaced both of my bathroom sink faucets, put in new water lines and also diagnosed an issue with my toilet and fixed that as well. I won’t have to hear water running and dripping in my bathroom anymore and I’m grateful. Whenever I decide to do bathroom upgrades he’ll be the plumbing professional that I call!

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.
