I was very pleased with the work done by Carrboro Plumbing. My On Demand Hot Water Heater had never been flushed and they were recommended to do this. The plumber was safe, wore masks and shoe covers. I will recommend them to anyone.

Doug was great to work with. He inspected our hot water heater for gas leaks and fixed a dishwasher drain. He’s honest and a great guy to talk with. I’d use this plumber again.

Rob called en route (right on time!) and was a pleasure to work with. He spent some time investigating, addressed the exact issue and when I shared I was a new homeowner, he encouraged me to learn alongside him so I was more informed about how the different pieces worked and some tips for the future. Pricing was very fair and transparent, Rob was very skilled and personable, and the job was done quickly and well. Will certainly be my first call for any future plumbing needs!

Had a very bad sewer issue right in my back yard...one phone call a pleasant conversation and 3 hours later my house is all back to normal. They had guys out to look at the issue with in 30minutes... Quoted a price that was DEAD on what I paid. One happy lady here !!! Keep up the great work :) !

Great easy going plumbers

We had to have our bathroom and shower faucets repaired, and Ryan, from Dr. Drain, as always, did a great job. He helped us get the expensive parts needed for the repair sent, free, from Moen, under warranty, as we were the original homeowners. We wouldn't have known this warranty protection was available, much less how to go about applying for it. He did all the work for us. When the parts came in, he did a beautiful job installing the new faucet components and at a reasonable price. We have used this company for years, and the plumbers they send out are inevitably polite, professional, willing to explain repairs in detail, and ever consistent in steering us away from unnecessary repairs. Dr. Drain has a highly competent team with integrity that is hard to match these days. I very highly recommend them.

We used Greene Hunt for some plumbing work last week, and it was easily the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Please don't ever use them. I would give zero stars if Google would let me.

We needed to have a defunct garbage disposal removed and a basket strainer installed in our kitchen sink. After noting right off the bat that a deep strainer would be necessary since the basin of our sink is thicker than the standard, the technician told me the whole job would cost $187. Once the job was completed, however, I instead received an invoice for $320. This new price didn't make sense to me because (1) it was not what we had agreed to and (2) a total of $320 for this job would have amounted to almost $200/hour for labor, and the average labor charge for plumbers is about $85/hour.

After contacting the company to correct what I thought was an honest mistake, the technician proceeded to misrepresent our initial agreement and then flat out lied to me, claiming he didn't know upfront that a deep strainer would be needed. When confronting him for lying, he became extremely angry and hung up the phone on me after running out of excuses. I subsequently made an attempt to hash things out with the owner, who surprisingly insisted on backing up his technician's lie, claiming that I had misunderstood the initial pricing agreement and asserting that I was being unreasonable for not agreeing to the arbitrary price inflation.

I've had my fair share of customer service mishaps, but never have I been treated with such rudeness or indignation, especially by the owner of a company. Bottom line: I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

Funny how it took a public negative review to get my first apology from Greene Hunt. Actually, the technician was quite clear in how he intended to price that portion of the job, and y'all simply tried to deceive me after the fact. There was no effort made to improve the customer experience; charging me the price that we agreed to initially is simply what should have happened in the first place. When I told you that I would be mailing you a check for the price that we agreed to initially, you wrote back that I was being horribly unreasonable and sarcastically wished me a good weekend. You stubbornly waived my invoice out of pettiness, indignation, and scorn to spite me, not as a gesture of goodwill or some effort to genuinely resolve the situation. By refusing payment for the original agreement, you arguably managed to make this already unbearable situation even worse, leaving me to awkwardly feel like a freeloader and you to forego compensation for a completed job, essentially maximizing the dissatisfaction for both parties in this insufferable transaction. If you've somehow managed to make it this far down in the review, do yourself a favor and use another plumber!

10000% recommend Total Plumbing. We had water underneath our Airbnb kitchen floor, which was extremely frightening to find. Total Plumbing gave us assurance that they would fix the problem and they did so within 24 hours. Not only did they fix the issue but the crew were extremely friendly towards us and towards each other, which stood out to us. The confidence of the crew and the relief they gave us has had such a positive, lasting impact that we will use them for any future plumbing issues and maintenance. You will not be disappointed!

One of the worst companies I had to deal with. my installation job was given to them by Lowes, the guy that was supposed to install my stove was rude, they treat customers with suspicion, rude. I doubt the installer even knows NC code.

Prompt and good workmanship

Alejandro from Acme came to our house to assess a proposed water heater replacement and give us an estimate. He was EXCELLENT, quite clear and informative. He found a couple of small adjacent issues that can be fixed as part of the project. Even with the small add-ons, the estimate was in line with others. We are having Acme do the work. Pilot light on water heater would not stay lit. Notified Roto-Rooter. Jeanclaude N. arrived at my home, located the problem (faulty gas valve) and promptly repaired it. We were very pleased with his promptness, professionalism, and expertise. We intend to use Roto-Rooter for all of our plumbing needs.

Edwin and his team at PK Plumbing are hands down the BEST in Raleigh. His customer service and quality of the work is stellar. It is so refreshing to do business with a company that takes pride in their work and is customer focused. In today’s fast pace, busy service market this is a rarity. Used their service to replace my old electrical water heater with Hybrid water heater, they did not finish their job of connecting the electrical cables to new water heater as cables were short, they left saying that an electrician has to do the job, which they did not give an estimate before starting the job.
They did not use CPVC pipes, did not put the water heater on existing stand, and they were asking for more to add extra CPCV pipes that are required for my new water heater.
Basically i can tell they were very unprofessional, but they charge as other professionals do. DON'T HIRE THEM.
