Best Plumbing Maintenance in Durham NC

Chris Kreutzer, owner of Carrboro Plumbing, recently came to my home at 6 p.m. on a Friday to repair a cracked supply line at one of the toilets, which was leaking on the hardwood floor. At my request, he also replaced the similar lines on the other two toilets, plus one old fill valve and an angle stop, and he adjusted one other fill valve. Chris was very efficient, completing all the work in one hour, and he is exceptionally knowledgeable, intelligent, courteous and competent. In short, he and Carrboro Plumbing provided everything one could want in plumbing service in exemplary fashion; in addition, his charge for the occasion was very reasonable. I highly recommend Carrboro Plumbing!

We had those horrible gray pipes that were used in the early 90s. They started to leak and they damaged the house. A friend recommended Doug & the After Hours Plumbing team. A whole-house replumb is a big undertaking and we were scared to death. Doug put all our fears to rest. They were everything a homeowner dreams of in a plumbing team: reliable, totally professional, no mess left behind, craftsman-like, reasonably priced, and friendly to boot. Call them, we're glad we did.

I'm very glad I used Pure-Line when my garbage disposal started leaking. Jackie is always so kind and helpful on the phone. She called me as soon as she knew the tech was running behind (which happens in this business). I really appreciated the call so I could plan the day better. Edwin was my tech and he replaced the disposal quickly. He took the time to explain a few things with the new disposal and it's working beautifully. Their prices were more reasonable than some other plumbers. I'll definitely use them again.

Lane Plumbing came out to my home to fix a Pressure Reducing Valve. Daniel the technician was great from the start and noticed an additional problem that we had at our cut off. He pointed this out to me before doing any work, explained in clear detail and showed me the evidence to support his findings. They were competitively priced and efficient with their work. I definitely recommend that you call Lane Plumbing and if he's available request Daniel to be your tech.

A technician from Joseph Rose Plumbing came out to our home a few weeks ago in conjunction with flood restoration efforts. He was super friendly, personable, efficient, clean, cared about our story and went above & beyond in working on our main level bathroom. And icing on the cake he was perfectly comfortable with our dog, Teddy! It was such a breath of fresh air. Will definitely be calling Joseph Rose Plumbing for any future needs!

I was satisfied with the field technician: professional service and knowledge. The service has yet to return my call of concern when I was informed by operator that it would be about 10mins and its going on 3.5days and this was the 3rd service problem into a two year old new system and its always a cost. Not satisfied at all!

Dalton and the Bar D Plumbing team were amazing! we had to replace our sewer line and they made the whole process so easy. Bernie added an entire door to the a stairwell in our home. He had to build out a wall and match existing finishings/style - and he did an amazing job. It looks like the door has always been there. I previously had a great experience with Devlin Plumbing when Billy worked for this company, so this made me feel comfortable using them again. I called Devlin Plumbing and requested Billy, who no longer work there. I still felt they would have the same work ethic he have. I spoke with staff over the phone, who was real nice, and told them about my clogged bathroom sink. Scheduled an appointment on a day right before I had to be at work. 2 workers came over, one who stated this was his first run out on the job, familiar with plumbing, but was not his field of knowledge, but was still professional. I heard them snaking the drain and drilling some buildup inside the pipe. When that didn't work, they ran out to Lowe's to get some drain tablets. Apparently, that didn't work. They did go under the house to investigate and figured that they would have to snake the pipe from the underside, but said the snake they had was not long enough. They told me that it wasn't worth driving back to the job to get the longer snake (because of traffic they said) and said they would have to come back next week with a longer snake, even though the said they had a 40 ft snake, but anyway. I was fine with that, thinking they wouldn't charge me for something that was not fixed.
Now, I called the staff back to find out how much this troubleshooting would cost. They charged me at a discount $350.00 for their time and efforts, and still a clogged sink. They charge $180.00 an hour normally(which I didn't know), but charged me $150.00 and hour, what a great deal, right.The staff said if they would come out again with a longer snake, that would definitely unclogged the sink, but would cost about $150.00. I was thinking a snake won't fix that problem, probably replacing the bad section of pipe would, but what do I know. Whoever's reading this, do the math $350.00+$150.00=still possibly clogged sink. Racking up money people don't have nowadays.
I was thinking to myself that's why Billy don't work at this place anymore, because he was too honest and didn't want to charge anyone for work that could not be done. I peacefully paid this company for their service because I am a peaceful person, but will NEVER, and I say NEVER use this company again. This is not to bash anyone, but to give a little buyers awareness to the innocent soul reading this to shop around for the best pricing and service before you take a plunge, that my sink couldn't do.
And P.S. if someone have Billy's contact info, please post it here, because I'm looking for a good plumber:)

The two gentlemen that came to my home to fix my toilet was VERY courteous, professional and on time! I appreciate them for that. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
