Best Hot Water Heater in Durham NC

The expansion tank on my water heater was leaking. After Hours Plumbing was quick and ready to take on the job. A gentleman named Matt made contact with me before arriving to let me know beforehand. They fixed the expansion tank quickly and professionally. They even added in some straps to hold the tank in place and not have its own weight pulling on it. Matt and his helper did an amazing job and were insanely quick at getting us hot water again. Thank you so much.

Matt did a wonderful job installing our tankless water heater! Very knowledgeable and friendly. He showcased his finished work, let me know if the next steps I needed to do(electrician for grounding) and showed me how to operate my new water heater.

My water heater went out on Friday afternoon right before a holiday weekend. I gave them a call and within a couple hours the technician and his assistant were at my house with a new water heater. They’re extremely reasonably priced and did excellent work. Top notch company!

I called and explain my situation and they had a serviceman out to my house the next day to examine and fix the leak I had under the house. Jerry was Fantastic in quickly being able to handle a very difficult job based on crawling under the house to replace the broken pipe. I cannot recommend this company enough! They are fast, reliable, knowledge and friendly and will save you thousands of dollars. First, they came out at 10pm on a long/holiday weekend because we had a sewage backup and it was leaking out of the ceiling. It was a nightmare for us and they stayed until 2am until the issue was stopped and provided us next steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

They also helped us with a leaky sink while we were under contract for a house. It was a time sensitive issue and they came quickly, resolved it and also gave us a couple of recommendations of other issues to fix, which would prevent any future damage.

Donnie was very courteous and professional during my service call. He is truly an asset to this company! Will definitely use this company again!

I had an emergency water heater failure. Each time they came out they were very COVID responsible, very respectful and efficient. They amazed me with how quick they were to respond and how safe they were about their repair.

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

Anthony was professional and courteous and took the time to go over details of a major repair. I had several other plumbers come to my property and dismiss my issue and not listen to what I was requesting. Rooter Man was professional and prompt. Highly recommend

My pipes were clogged and leaking for 2 years!!! I’ve had numerous plumbers come out and tell me nothing was wrong but i kept getting $400 water bills in a one family home i called 1800plumbers they had a plumber out the next day and found out the toilet stopper had corroded inside the toilet and was continuously running for years they fixed the issue and filled a hole in one of the pipes within hours. Great workers and great customer service will definitely recommend to others.

I had a problem with my Noritz tankless one morning. On the phone, Drain Express walked me through what to do but it still wouldn't work as the fix needed someone with the required expertise. Somehow I got lucky and Dickie said he could swing over soon. I was more then delighted as he quickly zeroed into the problem and even had the right part with him on hand. Most plumbers would have to order the part. The fix was done and I now have hot water again. After using so many plumbers over the years, Drain Express now goes to the top of my plumber list in my contact files. The Drain Express plumber was professional and overall a very nice guy. I will use him and highly recommend him.

Perhaps I'm not a handyman, but I can tell a good job from bad. The story: I bought a toilet tank kit to replace the insides of the tank and I thought it would take me one hour max. Maybe the kit didn't quite fit, or maybe I'm just that bad, but at the end of the ordeal I had leaks from various places, plus, I broke the shut off valve. Spent about 5 hours laying on the wet floor. At this time, around Christmas, it's been hard to find someone to come over, especially at 9 PM. Well, they did and all I can say, it was amazing. Kind of like an emergency surgery (and in fact, I think surgery is a kind of plumbing) - full focus on the job, actually running (not walking) back to the truck for supplies. Give me the scalpel, except give me the wrench, in this case. I am impressed.
