RJ and Demarco are a Father and Son team that did an AMAZING job for us. We were in a situation that we needed to remodel a small apartment bathroom after it had flooded. We had gutted the bathroom and purchased a shower kit to install. Unfortunately, after our contractor was not able to finish the job, we had tried several other companies/handyman in Anchorage that either were not available, job was too small, booked out several months, a no-show, or the quality of work was poor. Demarco had reached out to me after I made a post on the NextDoor app. He was quick to respond, gave me a call, and scheduled a free consult to go over our project the next day.

Demarco and RJ are such a pleasure to work with. Very professional and friendly. They both made suggestions on what we needed and the quality of work is superb. They installed the proper insulation behind the shower, fixed venting for the bathroom fan, installed the shower and drywall, waterproofed the floor, installed flooring, and installed the toilet/vanity. Plus, they painted the bathroom fresh and looks new! They gave us a proposal and were able to work that week and finished before the projected time. I actually ended up hiring them to do more work for us to have our apartment ready to rent again. It really restored my faith that there are people out there who have a passion for their work and treated our home like theirs. They took care of all the supplies, cleaned up the workspace pristine, and were flexible if we asked for more services or changes. Super easy and was such a relief to be taken care of. I called for an estimate for a simple home project and the person I talked to was condescending and didn’t listen to what I was trying to explain. If that’s how they treat people who are potential customers, I’m glad I didn’t end up using them.

I hired Tom to fix a leak in my downstairs waterline (copper pipe) He seems very experienced (as I had done some research prior) He showed up promptly, was efficient & did a great job! He kindly explained what he was going to do gave me a fair/true estimate prior to starting the project. His prices are cheaper then a chain company(estimates) by almost half! Also he was concerned about my drier hose & checked it out to make sure it was not a hazard. He did this just to be nice & as a saftey measure for my family ! He is a good true Alaskan & hard working! Reccomend his services.He was fair & honest with me. He showed me photos of his AMAZING garden! Plus who can't like a guy named Tom who gardens:)

This business is first class. I had them instal a new gas fired boiler including all new heaters. The house was built in 1958, it required some challenges installing the new piping. Everett worked hard, the job was started and finished on time. The installation is like a work of art. I highly recommend Everett for all of your plumbing and heating needs.

I had called Jacob at Sound Mechanical because I heard water dripping underneath the floor in my kitchen in the crawl space. I made the call around 7am and explained over the phone what I heard and was concerned that a pipe had burst or sprung a leak. Jacob responded that they had a full day of scheduled appointments but would send someone over as soon as they had met the needs of there previously scheduled appointments.He mentioned I would receive a call from one of the employees as soon as they became free. I went to my office and was Pleasantly surprised with a call around the noon hour. The said they could be at my house within a half hour. I went home and the plumber was there 10 minutes earlier than expected. I explained what was happening and showed where the crawl space access was. Within 30 minutes the plumber was completely done and the leak was found and repaired with explanation of what he had found. Problem solved! I have refereed Sound plumbing to multiple friends prior to this repair that I personally needed. All of them praised and thanked me for referring Sound plumbing to them and said they will be using them for all there plumbing needs! We are all happy satisfied customers.
