American Home Shield sent Home Service Corp to my home on 4-12 to fix a backed up drain in my basement. The plumber arrived, tried to snake the drain and claimed he was unable to because of tree roots causing the backup in the pipes. the plumber said they were unable to clear tree root clogs and we would need to use somewhere else. AHS told us tree roots are not covered by our home warranty and referred us to another plumbing company. The other company cleared the *toilet paper* clog that was 13ft down the pipe, and sent a camera all the way to the city pipes to verify that there is no tree roots in my pipes. I dont even have trees in my yard. anyway, now this simple TP clog has cost me $400 out of pocket for what would have been covered by my home warranty if Home Service Corp had done the job right in the first place.

They were hired to snake the main drain as our normal person was off with covid. Levin’s didn't bother to go the 100 ft to the street. Then told our renter there were roots in the line and there was a more significant issue. A week later, we called, and the woman on the phone stated there was a larger problem and they didn't warranty the job. I called our regular company out they fixed the issue, then used a camera to verify there was not a larger issue. Think twice before hiring.
