Our water needed to be turned off after our shutoff valve broke. I called Edwards Plumbing and Heating and Austin came out gave us our estimate. Was back out on Monday morning performed the work and did a great job. Thank you so much for the prompt and honest work !

Ill prepared and did fix the problem that was clear... We fixed said problem ourselves. He would not open any drains without gloves which he didn't have. Terrible service.

Tech came out, looked and at my situation (toilet leaking). He got to work and finished really quickly. The work was excellent and the tech was professional.

What a joke. After telling me that they could be out to install my dishwasher and replace a small valve that night, they called at 8 pm to say “ sorry we got behind, we can’t make it.” We rescheduled for the next day, only to have the tech quote us $600 for a simple small valve replacement and a dishwasher hook up all parts are already here.) Another plumbing company quoted us $250, but wasn’t available to do it right away. We were left paying the $70 service charge for nothing.

Jack was on time, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He asked what the problem was, he LISTENED to my explanation, he was able to duplicate the problem, then fixed the problem. Can it go any

They didn't tell me they dont actually work with dishwashers until the service tech showed up and informed me I would need a different technician. Could've said that when I requested the service.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the level of service by the technician. I was advised twice that the service fee service fee to come out was $65. Once the technician arrives and does the diagnostic, she stated the fuses are bad and need to be replaced which would cost another $90. She did not have them so she had to grab them. She came back about 45 minutes later and after she installed the fuses and duct tape a wire, nothing worked. She then stated that it is actually another part called a run capassistor and that it will cost us $300. She said she would give a deal for us and make it $200. I told her no thanks because she just wasted $90 of mine just to try and sell me another part she claimed cost $300. Then she charged me $85 for the service fee. After I told her that is wrong and that I have been assured twice that the fee was $65 she was unsympathetic and I had to pay the fee. Pay attention to the other bad reviews. Many of the good ones are from accounts that are newer or don’t review on a regular basis. Do not hire this company!

The repairman was here about an hour after we called and requested service, he assessed the problem quickly, and within about 3 hours we had a new water heater installed and ready to go! It was very fast and professional service, I would recommend this company.

They called and said he will be 1-2 hours. I said okay thats reasonable. Then they call after two hours saying he will be there within a half hour and he is “on his way” i say great. Then two hours later he shows up finally at 4:30 am. Then i tell him to unclog the toilet and snake it out. What he does is he goes over to the drain in our floor and starts unclogging that and tells us we have a pipe broken. Well i had another plumber come the next day and he did what i had asked and unclogged the toilet and everything was fixed and my floor now wasnt flooded with piss water. Zero thanks to this company. This guy doesnt know what hes doing and is a total rip off. I have no clue how they have 5 stars. Let alone a 3 star review.

My ex-partner and I always used Edwards in the past whenever we had problems with our pipes (hehe)! Sooo when I had a leak I called Edwards and the whole experience was faaabulous! I even talked to the owner himself and he sounds quite yummy! I'm single and sassy now! Oh and I'm recommending Edwards to all my friends!

Robert was a livesaver. After another plumber bungled an emergency repair job and was talking about ripping up the floor and left with the leak still spraying, Robert came out and had it fixed inexpensively and quickly!

I have used this company a few times however my last time i was very disappointed. I explained to the person that answered my call that I had a pipe that was broken in my wall. I asked if they are able to find where the pipe is broken without tearing apart the walls more than I already did. I was told that they had some leak detection technology that they can use. I requested Dave as he has come to do work at my house multiple times and did great work.The day the work was scheduled an Owen showed up, not Dave. Owen looked in the hole in the wall to see if he could find the leak and couldn't. I asked him if he brought a camera or anything else he could use to try to find the leak without taking apart the wall and he said he didn't bring his camera.So Owen showed up to my house, looked at the hole in the wall that I had made which I knew you couldn't see the break in the pipe (which is why i called for a plumber in the first place to see if they could find the leak without causing more damage), didn't bring a camera or anything else to find the leak, and I was still charged a service call. I understand being charged a service call but if they don't bring the proper equipment how is that my fault?Update: The owner personally called me to explain the situation. It was more of a misunderstanding which I can appreciate. It is hard to find companies that genuinely care about their customers which is why I will be using Edwards Plumbing and Heating in the future.

We called Monday night and were given a time between 1pm and 7pm as an arrival. The tech, Jonah, was amazing. Showed up at 12:45 after calling and giving us a heads up, was friendly and explained everything to us so we were aware of what had happened and what was wrong with the previous unit. Was completely finished in 4 hours, including leaving to get the new water heater. We'll be using Edward's plumbing and heating when we redo our bathrooms next year as well. Even helped make light of a bad situation, which we can majorly appreciate. 50/10, will be using again.

I hired Edwards Plumbing to replace my water service line. It turns out my water service line did not need to be replaced. My partner easily fixed the issue. Edward's Plumbing has not returned my deposit of $4,300. I requested a refund over a month ago. They haven't even given me an estimate of the refund amount (as I know they did perform some work related to permits). I will now have to pursue this matter in court. Eating more time and money. BEWARE.

These guys are two for two on jobs at our residence! The most impressive part is the timeliness, same day service both times. This past week they assisted with changing our outside spigot that had a leak & was going to be causing bigger problems this winter. The actual work of EP&H was really great, I have full confidence in the hands who came to preform the work. They were able to fit us in MONTHS earlier than the other company we spoke to, and for a better price. Talking with the office was a little difficult, we had our service postponed multiple days, multiple times due to weather and other circumstances (?). It was just a confusing interaction with the company because I felt like I had talked to so many people but they weren’t exactly sure what was going on with our job. I had to call them to follow up on when they were planning on coming as well as for payment after the job was finished. They were kind and helpful along the way, but I’m torn if I want to use them again because I was never quite sure if we were on the same page.

They have the potential to be a great company but Tom Caufield and his girlfriend Misty AND THEIR NEPOTISM RUIN IT FOR WORKERS AND THE CUSTOMERS. PERIOD.

I have been a homeowner for 28 years and over the years have had quite a few things done to my home. This particular weekend we needed to address a few plumbing issues in addition to a leak, faucet reversal and adjusting the temperature in the master bedroom's shower. Travis from Edwards Plumbing came out and got the job done right. Very efficient and well versed in his field and professional! I highly recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing done in their home.

When I scheduled my appointment for a technician for October 8, 2021 the customer service associate was pleasant. I asked them do they hook up refrigerator water lines to tankless water tanks and was told yes. I was scheduled for the plumber to come out at 8am and he did not get there until around 9:45 pm. When the plumber came out I was told that they do not hookup water lines to a tankless water tank. I still had to pay a $60 service fee. He was extremely lazy and appeared as though he did not know what I was talking about. He did not have a willingness to help. I called the customer service line again and was told I would receive a call back and never did. I would not this company. Very unprofessional and misleading

They arrived on time, got the work done quick, and charged a reasonable fee. I’ve used them a few times for HVAC work, and never once had a problem!

Lies about what time they would arrive. Lies about how much it is. Unprofessional weasels. Once I said leave, the guy keeps going on. Just leave.

They were able to come in the same day and they were pretty quick and efficient working around the house. We have to do some more repairs and I'm sure they will be just as professional and easy to talk to

Edward’s Plumbing and Heating helped us in a pinch and we are so grateful. We had a drain in our basement backing up due to a roommate flushing things they should not have flushed and our technician, Austin, was able to snake the drains and get our plumbing working again. He was super helpful and walked us through what he was doing and what we need to do in the future to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Austin was at our house a little over an hour after calling. I really appreciate his promptness and helpfulness in this whole situation. I highly recommend!

We had a sump pump installed. Robert Nelson was our tech. He was professional and did a great job with the work we needed. I would use this company again and would recommend this company. I will ask for Robert for my next hvac or plumbing issue. They are also available on Sunday, which is when my work was done.

The tech, Jeffery Harper, is professional and personable and his work is top notch!Two years ago I called for a piping issue and Jeffery came out and replaced my metal pipes with PVC and havent had an issue since.Recently I was having issues with my toilet no longer being anchored down and wobbling. They sent Jeffery out again and his work was just as good, if not better, than 2 years ago. He assessed the issue, gave me the different options I had, and got the issue taken care of when I made my decision.I would definitely recommend Edwards to all my friends and family or anyone that is looking for a good plumbing professional.

We made the appointment yesterday, for today, between 8am & 1pm. 2hrs later they called to say the technician was running late. “What?! Our appointment is tomorrow.” They say, “ok, you want them to come tomorrow”? This morning when I called at 10:45, she said they had called earlier & no one answered so he went on another call. Now, I’m getting annoyed. “No one called, we have caller ID”, I tell her. She says, I’ll have to check with supervisor”. Have you called the township to schedule them to turn off water? “We’ll have to send the technician 1st. Now I’m mad. We had discussed this when we 1st called & they stated they would handle it. I was really angry by now. I let my husband handle it after all that. Many calls back & forth. Utility Dept had arrived & turned water off to the house. Technician took valves off water meter & didn’t have the correct part. Left to go to Home Depot. Gone for over an hour. Water is still turned off. Township utility closes at 4:30. A fee to come out after that. For the love of all, IT’S FRIDAY! We will need water for the weekend. Technician returned, got meter back together. Utility Dept arrived, work completed no leaks, water turned back on house at 4pm.We have done business with Edwards for years. We’ve always been very happy. After what happened today, we will NEVER do business with them again. This is not the level of service we’d grown to expect.

This place is a scam! I received a letter from a lawyer. Demanding payment for a service I did not get. From a company I never heard of! I contacted the company. Got the run around. Then contacted the lawyer. He atleast called back. He rambled off someone else's name & different address. So this is someone else's bill. That apparently lived in this house. At some point in the past. That used them. Now that I just recently moved in here. They are trying to make me pay their bill. Im not paying anything I don't owe. Beware of this place & how they do business. Update: When I talked to the lawyer. He was asking me if I heard of some man(forgot the name) Then asked me if I ever lived at a different address. 🤔 Turns out this bill was some other address. Then that person apparently lived here At some point. After the lawyer asked me 20 questions. He was confused as to why. This company sent me the bill. As was I 🤦‍♀️

Google search implied Edwards was local to my area. They were an hour away.Supposed to be there between 8 am and 1 pm. Missed half a day of work waiting and they showed up just before 1 pm.Couldn't get a ballpark estimate over the phone and was told it would be 59 dollars for them to come out (with the assumption that this would come off of the total). Was quoted 300.00 to replace two shutoff valves that run about $10.00 each and take less than 10 minutes to change.So I wound up paying $59 for an estimate and lost a half day of work. I'll do the repair myself.

Had a guy come out to check my furnace got a quote for a new furnace and was told they work with DHS so I waited for them to send a quote for a new furnace waited two weeks and then told they don't work with DHS so now I have to come up with more money to get a new quote from a different company been three weeks with out heat on a fixed income talked to the owner James and he was a great guy and he explained the problem so over all the guy who came out was polite and respectful and understanding that I'd still work with them for further repairs thanks James for explaining the situation

The service men worked tirelessly and most diligent to repair my furnace issue....even bringing their supervisor out to assist. NOTE:I will need a detailed/itemized bill/receipt to send to DTE to hopefully get reimbursed for the repair. It appears they were responsible for the damage to my furnace. I will have to go through their claims procedure to achieve this....

Well it's been 6 months and I still have your guys pipe wrench you left in my yard. Also never received a call from the manager or the plumbing department after 6 different service professionals came to assess my problem. I.E. roots in the sewer line. I did appreciate the HVAC guy and the secretary that where very helpful after not being able to use my sewer 4 days because a very green plumber said my water supply was leaking into my furnace and flooding my michigan basement. Which he charged me a 75 crawl space fee to look at. Now I might not be a plumber but I am pretty sure if you water line to your faucet is leaking it won't just leak when you turn it on. Also I was charged 250 dollars 2 times and had a very young disorganized Tech come and finally run a snake at 8 pm on the 5th day. He found roots and said it will be 800 dollars to jet the line ontop of the 500 I had already spent. So if you feel like being double charged and having multiple techs pass the buck until you finally need your problem solved by hiring a different company that charges half as much can come during the day when they say they will and knows how a sewer line works. Then call pretty much anyone else. The worst by far is Edward's plumbing and heating. Unreal 6 months and never could even call.

I had Jonah, plumber-technician from Edward's Plumbing and Heating repaired my plumbing today. I was very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and positive attitude . He actually changed my opinion about the company, because I had my appointment scheduled originally yestarday, but the technician never came after I waited whole day and it was very upsetting. But they did turned around 180 degrees by sending me the best technician today, Jonah, first thing in the morning I was very impressed with Jonah's iprofessionalism and knowledge. This company should appreciate him more by giving him good raise. He is a very good employee, and represented your company very well. It is very hard to find a good worker these days and the owner of the company should know it.

my kitchen faucet was leaking under the sink. it was one with pull out sprayer. The guy came out, tried to pull it out but couldn't and said I need a new one. I believe him because I know it's been that way for over a year. He had a nice Delta. He was quick friendly and very professional. I thought it was a little high but I said do it. He gave me paperwork on the faucet but it was for one of 4 models. He e-mailed me a receipt but it didn't say which model it is. Looking at all the possibilities on the home depot site, it looks like I could have bought it for much less. But I wouldn't have been able to install it

Despite a rocky start Edwards Plumbing really came through. I had water backing up in my basement and selected Edwards plumbing to give me an estimate along with several other companies. Initially there were problems with them missing their appointments and some miscommunication between their tech and their dispatch about what I needed. When I complained I got an email and a phone call from the owner James. James went out of his way to apologize, explained the issues behind the miscommunication and refunded my service fee and offered to make things right. Brandon was sent out, diagnosed the problem and took the time to explain everything and walk me through both the problem and the proposed solution. I got an estimate the next day and James talked to me again and made sure it would work within my budget. Brandon and John showed up when they were supposed to, made sure to protect my property and the rest of my basement before they started, and again explained the scope of the project before beginning. They were professional throughout, finished the job on time, and even went beyond the scope of the job and cleaned up the standing water and stains in my basement and mopped the floors when they were done. Despite a bumpy start, James, Brandon and John at Edwards Plumbing made sure the job got done right and I was happy. I would highly recommend them.

They said they would be out on Sunday then Sunday they cancelled then they said Monday we'll Monday night 9 pm came and still nothing then we called and he said oh well we can't come out he said we will come out tomorrow between 8 and 1 now they called and said we can't come out till later this evening now this is supposed to be 24/7 service took two days off for them. Grrrrr. Please don't use them

We had Edwards Plumbing and Heating install a new sewer line in our backyard, a couple years ago now. Since the install of the new line, we have continued to have sewage backups in our basement. They have been out a couple of times to clean out the line and that usually buys us some time until the next backup. 3 weeks ago, we had the worst backup to date in our home. Resulting in the removal of carpet and furniture. Even worse than before we had the line replaced.A tech came out that same day to assess the issue. He noted a couple spots in the line he was seeing tree roots. He wanted to take it back to his supervisor to discuss a plan of action, since this line is still new and under a lifetime warranty. We waited 2 and a half weeks for a call back and never received one.I called this past Monday (4 days ago) and requested an update, as we had another large backup in our basement. I was informed the tech was off that day and he would call back the next day (3 days ago). I never heard from the tech. I called again yesterday (1 day ago) and was told the tech would have to call me back. Still no call.The office staff are unable to provide me with any sort of update or contact information for the tech or the supervisor. I was told they would call us back today. Now here today is and no call back was completed. I call the office yet again and was told no one is available to speak with me and they would have to call us back. We can assume we will not be receiving a call back.This company has failed us time and time again. They have been unable to provide us an update on their plan of action for a line they installed, that is still backing up. Every day this week, we continue to have a backup, clean it up, and it continues to occur, while they don't call us back.We are at a loss on how to have this situation addressed, we're disappointed in the customer experience and would recommend to not use Edwards Plumbing and Heating for any services in your home.

Called at 11:30am on a Saturday to have someone come look into my furnace issue. Was told someone was available between now and 5pm so I made the appointment. At close to 4pm I called back to see what was going on and was told the technician was on a big job that could take hours more and wanted to reschedule until Monday. Also they want $85 just have someone look at it.

This company must take me for a fool or this is some practical joke... every time I call they tell me a technician will come between 8am and noon but the tech always comes at 4pm. Got a call today saying the tech was on his way and it would be 30 minutes. It’s now going on 90 minutes and he’s yet to show. The next day (he rescheduled) I was told the tech would show at 7am, then the update was 7am to 9am.. didn't show until 9:45am.They just called back and asked to reschedule for the third time.. with no notice. I had to call. Three days without heat in freezing temperatures.. pray my pipes don’t freeze.What should have been a simple fix has now resulted in four visits. Just needed some valves replaced. Good grief guys.Jeffrey is a peach and a lovely man.. everyone I have talked to has been very nice and understanding. I think dispatch is just a little bit disorganized. Thanks for coming out and replacing our dying water heater that was leaking out the bottom and top within the same 24 hour period. I made a service call around 10 pm, the technician arrived shortly after 11 pm, and we were able to be scheduled for the following morning for a replacement call. Both the original diagnostic technician and the installation technician were professional, courteous and top notch.

Outstanding job! Diagnosed a long standing problem and took care of my blockage at a commercial building. Will and Kyle were up front and found the least expensive and effective way to fix issue. They also addressed a separate issue.Will be my goto from here.

After spending $245, I’m still clueless of what is wrong with my system. They were more poised to sell me a new one as opposed to troubleshooting my issue down to a component. Total would never call them again.

Did not use these guys for service, but one of their drivers cut me off and ran me off the road. Dot 2277330 Van #48. I complained to company. They don’t seem to care that the driver almost killed a 2yr old I had with me! If they can’t drive they probably can’t do plumbing and heating. At least I got a wave from the driver when I caught up to him!

So… The unfortunate plumber who ended up responding to my “after hours” job (I called at like 4:30pm so….) when I called I made sure to inquire about cost for my plugged sewer line (with outside drain access) the man quoted me $189.95, I was like GREAT!!! come on out… well after plumber did his kinda of a pain in rear clearing of my sewer line (was here over 2 hours had to use 125 ft of snake….) he started to tell me his pricing & I said well wait office quoted me $189.95, he was NOT happy, apparently he gets paid by commission & said usually does not take snake machine thing out of truck for under $400… luckily they honored the pricing I was quoted but I feel bad for the poor plumber who kinda got the short end of the stick..!! He was very friendly took time explaining things to me, didn’t freak out about my dog, his name is Ed & was very happy with his work & attitude (with me) after he ended up getting shysted!!

I was happy with the actual plumbers work, he did a good job fixing my leaking sink. But I had a very frustrating time with the schedulers. First they only put one item on my order, when I had two issues. Then, they overbooked and rescheduled for next day. He arrived 4 hrs after my scheduled time. He didn't have parts for the sink and didn't know about hose I wanted replaced. Took four calls to finally get a scheduled date. Oh yeah, I never got a receipt for the sink repair!

I have been using Edwards for quite a long time now. The technician that came out was very friendly, and explained what he was doing throughout the process. In the end the faucet was installed securely and works well. There was a billing mixup at the time of the visit, but the owner reached out to me personally and resolved it quickly.

My basement was flooding, an issue I’ve had before, but this time I decided to go with a different company since obviously the problem wasn’t fixed. I couldn’t be more pleased. Everyone I spoke with was so pleasant, respectful, and helpful. They sent someone out right away, and was finished in no time. They helped me understand what the problem was and exactly what they did to fix it, and to top it off I didn’t pay an arm and a leg!! Great experience all around, I’d like to not have any more issues in the future but if I do I’d definitely be calling them back!

This team is the definition of integrity and will bend over backwards to help you out and get the job done right. They support First Responders and Military to the fullest. They were always on time and had great attitudes. In the future I would hire and refer Brandon and his team without hesitation. They did an excellent job and completely fixed the leaking water problem I had.

Edwards Plumbing and Heating showed up within 24 hours of me requesting service. They were prompt, professional, and explained each step along the way to snake my my drain. I can't speak to how competitive their pricing is, but it was $69 for the service call and ~$200 to snake the drain. I would use them again in an emergency.

I've been forwarded to them through the 3rd party call center with a different name than this company and different feedbacks. Came a day later than scheduled (good that notified it the day before). They wanted to replace the whole AC unit because of its year (without any diagnosis or even opening it), until I insisted on doing its inspection first. Fixing done, but they're charging quite a lot.Update: I would change to 0 stars, as after a few hours after the technician left, the AC block stopped turning on at all.Update 2: changing to 2 stars because of them committing a 2nd time with a few delays, and operations keeping track of the appointments & records. Just reflecting my general impression on the experience and expectations.

This is my second time using Edwards Plumbing and Heating and also my last. In short, with multiple opportunities, virtually NOTHING was done to address or satisfy any complaints. I called them to come out for a leak with my water heater as it is not an area I am familiar with. The price was very high for a water heater install (over $2,300). That's my fault...I should have been better aware of the standard cost to replace and install a water heater before hand.To help with the cost, I wanted to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer of the original water heater (Bradford White) as it was only installed in November 2019. While the technician was out getting a new water heater at a supply store, I called the manufacturer (and viewed on their website) and was told that the technician / contractor has to submit the warranty claim through the warranty claim through a distributor. I immediately called Edwards Plumbing and Heating office to request that they connect with the technician and ask for a call back so that I can request the technician submit a warranty claim. Never heard back from the technician until he returned with the new water heater. I asked him then about submitting a claim and was told they don't do that at Edwards Plumbing and Heating, so I am missing out on the warranty claim for that.At the completion of service, I am preparing to pay (the over $2,300 water heater bill) and asked about using a 10% veteran discount coupon that is listed on their site. That would be a savings of over $230. The technician told me that they don't actually do those coupons anymore and is not sure why they are on the site anymore. The technician was kind enough to give me a $20 discount...just slightly less than the over $230 I was hoping for or expecting as it is listed on their site. After the technician left, I called the Edwards Plumbing and Heating office to inquire about the coupon and ask if they could honor it. The receptionist had to call me back while she checked with the manager. When the receptionist calls me back, she tells me that they will not be able to provide the 10% veteran discount as it is not available on weekends / holidays. That information is not included on the coupon, but had I known that, I would have been interested in waiting for a week day to help cover some of the high cost. The receptionist told me that they would be correcting the coupon, which does nothing to help me with this visit.One final straw was when I noticed on the e-mailed invoice that the work description included an expansion tank for the water heater. I shared with the receptionist that although I already had an expansion tank, it was not replaced. She checked in with the technician and then came back to me to tell me that is on there by mistake and he did not replace the expansion tank (I know...that is what I am saying!). I guess I am not sure if that is standard part of a $2,300 water heater replacement or extra.In the end, it feels like everyone, but most especially management had opportunities to address and satisfy some of my complaints, yet did NOTHING.

My mom had Edwards come out they sent there tech Ryan lee he was the best tech ever he knew what he was doing.he was so polite he did such a good job we had 2 other plumbing companies come out and they couldn't figure the problem out. Avoid this place at all costs! This company is a total waste of time and money.I called Edwards about a clogged drain issue. Water was backing up into my shower and toilet, and since I only have one bathroom in my home, I needed it fixed ASAP. This company was the first one to show up on a Google search and they were open 24/7, which was important because it was late at night and I needed a plumber immediately, so I chose to call this company. I agree with another reviewer, they must have a call center located outside the US because it was very difficult to communicate with and understand what the person on the other end of the phone was saying. Eventually we got it worked out, and a plumber was able to come to my home pretty quickly.The plumber himself was very professional and pleasant guy, or so I thought. He was at my home for approximately 3 hours and worked hard the entire time he was here. He wasn't able to get the problem fixed that night, but he told me that they would have another plumber come in the morning to finish the job. I thought that was reasonable, I understand that he's not a magician. So he cleaned up after himself and left. Shortly after he left my home, I noticed that a large part of my bathroom floor was gouged and damaged. I know that he saw the damage – he did a good job cleaning up the floor after he was done snaking the pipe. But he left without saying a word about it. So that’s problem number 1.In the morning, I didn’t hear from Edwards, so I decided to call them at 10am. I asked the person on the line if the plumber would be at my place before 1pm. He said that he would be able to. I work during the day, so I had to take time off to stay home and wait for the plumber to come. 1pm came and went without a plumber showing up. So I called them back. They said that I was next in line and that the plumber would be there soon. 5pm comes, I call them back and they ask if they can see me the next day. I told them absolutely not, I paid for an emergency service and they are taking their sweet time getting the job done. I finally got a call from them at about 6:30 saying that there is no way a plumber could see me today and that they would have a plumber at my home the following day. So that’s problem number 2.So now I have damaged floors from Edwards, wasted time off work, and my pipe is still clogged. I called another company to finish the job.

Called this company and asked for a quote for installation of a sump pump. Explained this to them at least 3 times. Service tech came out and did not have the equipment he needed to do the quote because he understood that I wanted a sump pump replacement. Not the case. He proceeded to tell me that sump pumps cost around 4800.00 because that's what they charged for one they did in Livonia. He then proceeded to ask me how I was paying for the service call. How ridiculous. They should be embarrassed that they cant get the facts straight, send a guy out without the equipment to do a proper quote and charge me anyway. Shotty all the way around. Wouldn't call these people if I had water up to my ears. Go for a more reliable service with phone people who know what the heck they are doing..

If I could give this less than one star I would. I called yesterday to make an appointment to have one of our rental units looked at for a plumbing issue. They took all my info and set the appointment for 1-5pm the following day. At 439 pm the following day I gave them a call because we still have not heard from them only to have them inform us that the person who made our appointment didn't know they didn't service our area (it was the same person on the phone that I had made the appointment with the previous day). When I asked why no one thought to give me a call and relay that info rather than waste a day and a half when I could've located another vendor, all I got was Sorry about that. Maybe some training in customer service? We have locations all over the state and they just lost a LOT of business that could have potentially came their way. Even if they didn't service our area, they probably serviced quite a few of the others we have.

My hot water heater was out due to massive rain flooding my basement so I needed it lit. This was known before a technician even came to my house. He went in basement didn’t even touch the tank just said what it needed and it could need more than that or might need to be replaced WOW that could of been said over the phone since you didn’t even attempt to light it but I was charged $69 didn’t touch it no fingerprints SMHAnd stated that you’ve been doing this all day so I see it as a scam ppl lost everything due to this rain and are being taken advantage of at least attempt to do something if I’m paying you for coming out. Shine a flash light or something I paid for no kind of service. I’ll never call this company again NO STARS!!! Only way I could post was by putting at least one star

Tim was the technician that came out to repair a shower leak at my home. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Edward’s Plumbing because I really appreciate his dedication towards completing the job.

We had a stopped sink that we were told was going to be a total demo of our cabinets and pipes along with a radiator removal. By Sat night I was almost in tears my husband called EPH...they said if you can wait we can send you Robert if he cant fix it no one can. This man deserves a damn cape he is a true super hero in my book when the other company told us you need almost $2k worth of work...he said why your good for now! Thank you again Robert you're now the Hazels go to guy! EPH will be getting a call from us again soon!

Had this company come to one of our job sites for a small leak in some pex tubing kicked 3 holes in the wall “not cut them like good plumbing company” they destroyed the base trim we just installed which was unnecessary. They were on site for 30 minutes put a half inch pex coupler in and charged us $525. Then trying to get a hold of a manager was impossible. I finally had some one call me back and then never take my call again or call me back. I am a flooring contractor this is not how you do business. So buyer beware.

I highly recommend Edward’s. They were at my house 30 minutes after I called late at night. The tech Jamie was very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He took his time to make sure everything was perfect and he explained and demonstrated maintenance tips. All the parts he needed for a repair were on his truck, we were up and running in no time. I will call them again for any service.

This place is a scam. Over charge outrageously and the wat $180 in estimates after not showing up to do the work. I hired another company at 1/3 of their estimate and the 3 weekend later they call me back to schedule the job and charge me the estimate. This is a company that just wants $180 for estimates and do not want to do actual work. See they’re Yelp reviews that seems more like it 1’s across the board.

They set an appointment for 8am - 1pm, called at 1:15pm to push the appointment to 1pm - 7pm. Called at 5pm to cancel - person on the phone was rude. Have used these guys in the past, will not use them again

The service is very good. Making the appointment was easy and the follow up on it was good (arrival time notification...). The customer service is good too. The technician, Scott, who performed the repair was very professional and clear with his explanations.The only downside of all this is the cost of a quote only: there is a fee just for the technician to come to the house and a fee to perform a diagnostic.

Called to have someone come look at my soft water system. Made sure to ask specifically that they send a technician that was familiar with such setups....operator even checked with her supervisor to make sure they had the experience on these systems.Hours later technician shows up, takes one look at the system and says he doesn’t want to break it so they will have to send someone else out...Okay, I’m a patient guy. I’m promised a call to set up the next appointment the following day (Sunday) I’m told they have 5 techs in the field.No call ever comes,...I call the next morning and they say they might be able to have someone out between 1-7....I’m not waiting around for 6 hours so you can tell me you don’t know the system again 🙄

Call for emergency service Sunday 5:00pm as we had sewer water in our basement roughly 3 inches deep 11:00 pm tech came out we have 150.00for the emergency service charge of $250.00for the drain clear out but the drain never cleared out ? Was still charged, within 10 minutes of the tech being there he told me to start a claim with my insurance company? Monday at 10 o’clock AM I had to call the tech and asked him if he was coming out he said no he wouldn’t be able to make it to the following day till 6 o’clock at night. That is roughly 40 hours after emergency service call that follow up was gonna be done on my house truly unacceptable for a professional company.After I had called to cancel our Tuesday 6 PM appointment the tech was extremely efficient in getting back to me (2 minutes) to let me know the $250 will be charged to my credit card?Certainly appreciate somebody coming out at 11 o’clock at night but feel no services were rendered after 40 hours??I’ll be sure to post more on Facebook and all social media about Edwards Plumbing!Joe, Trenton Mich.

I have used Edwards Plumbing & Heating for quite a while. However, this will be the last time. Because I have had good results in the past I called them out to replace a kitchen faucet. The technician they sent out was a great guy, we had a pleasant conversation while he was here, and he observed proper COVID procedures while in my house. So I have no problem with the personnel and the service.I do have two problems with Edwards. First, they've grown too large and now use a call center to answer their phones that is apparently in Thailand. They did not provide the proper information on what I needed to the technician before he arrived.Second, and most importantly, Edwards simply charges too much for their services. I spent close to four times as much as I would have if I'd called another company for this faucet replacement. That is ridiculous. I feel that they took advantage of me because I was a long time customer. So I won't be a customer any longer.

Dave was professional and informative. He expertly replaced my water heater and also was kind enough to do a quick repair on my toilet, gratis, which was not part of the original call. I will use Edwards Plumbing and Heating again.

Have had help from their plumbing and heating side and both have been amazing. Very patient helpful knowledgeable professional people. I have a home warranty and they cover most issues with just a 75 dollar fee, but when I had a flooding 1st floor bathroom and basement at 4am and the warranty company said they might have someone out in a week, EPH had someone there within hours. For sure have gone above and beyond, highly recommend and will be my go to.

If it were possible I would give this business negative stars.I had called edwards to install new outdoor water Spickets, a new line to the furnace for humidity, and an instant water heater. All the pipes in my home are copper and exposed where you can see and access them easily. I specifically asked for all the piping to match because of this. The young boy they sent out installed everything with adapters to pex using shark bites. I told him this is not what I want. The boy responded by telling me about the greenhouse he is building in his back yard. Several pipes he installed were rubbing against each other and making loud noises. The boy told me that’s how it’s done and left.So I called edwards and communicated my disappointment with their company and employee. They said they would fix it but when the date came they had sent the same boy back out. He reinstalled the water spickets in a different way which was still incorrect. At this point I was hovering over the kid and specifically telling him that’s not what I asked for. He promptly told me I had no clue what I was talking about, he finished and left.The next day I come home to one of the pipes he installed raining down on all of my equipment I use for my work. Thousands of dollars worth of power tools destroyed to water damage. I call again and this time they send a different person out. He fixes the pipes but said I would have to contact someone else about the water damage.I have been trying to communicate with edwards for about 10 months now. At first each time I called they answered and seemed like they wanted to make it right, even though I had to consistently contact them for any updates in regards of the damage. They would say they would call me and or email me. Recently my called have gone to voice mail or answer by a literal child to let their parent know to contact me back. I have yet to receive any of their “follow up calls” or for any responses through emails. In the end I paid over 10,000 for a water heater and for them to break some of my pipes.Today I have bought some copper pipe and am practicing soldering it together so I can fix the catastrophe I paid 10,000$ for.

I don’t like men at my home with my wife and kids. The man that came was very respectful. He stayed outside with no attitude he changed my spigot. Stayed outside the whole time and did not bother my wife. He was on time, very knowledgeable. I will use them again.

After I my furnace stopped working on a Friday during a very cold time of the year, I scheduled an appointment with Edwards to fix my system. At just before 5pm I received a text explaining that they would not make the appointment as previously agreed upon. The temp in my house was in the upper 50’s and dropping as it was now starting to get dark outside. Since it was 5:00 on Friday all of the other HVAC companies were now closed, some through the weekend. This was an essential service since I have young kids and cannot have my house not heated in the winter.They are not a reputable company and they do not stand by the agreements they enter into. I would not use them for anything in the future.

Wanted to charge me 1600 usd to swap water heater... got it for 925 USD instead. No, the guy who installed it instead for a fair price was not on drugs (lol!). Water not leaking, water not poisoned, house did not blow up or catch on fire. I'm sorry, but charging more than 1100 USD (since a water heater costs 445 USD) for 30 minutes of labor to install it is NOT an honest price. People forget there is something called Google out there, where you can actually find out what an honest price for a determined service is.

Called whenever they had to change the schedule the to emergencies with other customers. When they came, knew exactly what to do for a reasonable price and could do the work the next day.

I've used them 3 times. They are always on time and very reasonably priced. They are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They have a separate group that answers the phones and schedules. This group will call you when the plumber is 45-30 minutes away. Make sure you answer though. If you don't answer to confirm you're home, they won't send the plumber.

The cost to install a gas line under a newly purchased mobile home was costly. The technician explained the high cost. Edwards Plumbing & Heating was our second estimate. The first estimate was costly also. The technician was very professional and understanding why we did not agree to have the work done.

Worst company to deal with, do not use. They changed a heat gas valve and gas valve in my home that is a rental. They charged me almost 1300 dollars to replace parts that costed 100 dollars. They left the property with gas leaks still in my system. Their tech named jamie tells tenant he will be back tomorrow but tells dispatcher he completed the job. The job according to another licensed individual stated if at most shouldnt have costed 600 to do all the work involved. Very unprofessional company!

Over $150 charge vs other quotes on an extremely basic service (capping a gas line with no leaks/damage/rust/extenuating circumstances.) After being contacted multiple times about the overcharge (they refused to reveal the price over the phone) and everyone’s refusal to break down the charges, the provider ghosted us for days until getting a conference call together to essentially shrug and say “too bad, you paid already.” Never again.

I kid you not, but ever since they came to my home my furnace has been acting up. The last maintenance man that just happened as of today January 14th 2023 just almost cost and full Inferno in my home by pulling wires all for him to say he did not know exactly what was going on Switched my switch and took my parts! I am very displeased and upset I would like a better review but awaiting to hear from manager. I hope they solve this issue but be aware they tried to charge even though I was fully noted that I wasn't going to be charged.

Our sump pump failed during heavy rains and we were able to call and get a technician within an hour or so of the flooding. He replaced the pump and advised us on potential future fixes to eliminate future problems. The repair was expensive but saved us in the long run with quick service.

Although l had to wait about 12 hours, when Joshua Woods did get here, he was on- time, professional, knowledgeable and fast. He cleared the sewer drain pipe in my basement and also cleared a different section of pipe that was contributing to the problem. Joshua literally went the extra 25 feet! So thankful that my plumbing is now draining perfectly.

I agreed upon a price for the repair of a broken valve, the technician wouldn't not give me a receipt, he wanted to give him a 50% payment with no confirmation of my payment to him. I asked him for an email to confirm I paid and setup the work, he informed me he couldn't do that, to me that sounds a little strange.

There is nothing like good genuine old school professional service 😊. At first I was a little disappointed with my initial technician, but this company came through and made things right, by sending out a master plumber James Edwards Sr. along with another master plumber Russell. They were very professional and courteous, and knew exactly what they were doing. They completed the job in no time. I would recommend them to anyone. I am now a very satisfied customer. Thank you guys for making things right.

The guys who came out were to unclogged my kitchen drain were very courteous and professional. They had a hard time at first because my house is older but they didn’t give up until the job was done. They even cleaned up their mess afterwards! I also loved how their dispatch person gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were on their way when they were heading to my home! Great responsiveness and quick service. Was able to get someone out here on Thanksgiving within a couple hours. Plumber was able to locate the issue immediately did not have the supplies to fix so was able to amend it until the next day. The next day they came out fixed it and showed me what they did. I am scheduling them to do other work since they were so good the first time.

Dan was courteous and informative about the work to be done despite equipment availability issues he encountered. Work was explained and cleaned up at the end of the job.

My dreams all started backing up all of a sudden. After trying some stuff myself with no luck so I called EPH. They came out that day. They were very professional and upfront with possible next steps and pricing. They were unable to clear my blockage with a snake so they came out again with a water jet. Looks like I had roots which they were able to blast out. Very happy with my experience and excited to have working drains again! I will call them again should any need arrise.

Our water tank went down in the middle of the night. We called at 1am & explained the problem & they scheduled an appt. For us the following morning . Ryan was the service tech & we cannot say enough about how professional & hardworking he was. He had to redo the gas line pipe the vent exhaust pipe & had to get the tank from Flint. This young man went above & beyond in servicing us & making sure everything was perfect. You are very lucky to have Ryan as one of your employees. We will definitely reccomend him ,& your company. Where do I start ... ? Sure, they came out quickly. Kudos. Same issue, 2 different plumbers were sent out and were given 2 very different estimates. This should have been my que to find another company.Cannot get a manager or supervisor on the phone or even a returned phone call back, will not provide warranty information, will not sign a full waiver that I paid in full so I can sell my home - holding up the sale of my house. 2 months now this has been going on. Their answering service is terrible. Please save yourselves the headache and go elsewhere.

I had 3 small jobs.1) A leak under a sink (needs tightening)2) A dripping bath faucet (needs new valve)3) swap out a garden faucet with a broken knob (needs new $5 hardware)They said they would take a $69.00 fee to come out. I said okay.They came out and gave me an outrageous quote of $1400 (One thousand four hundred dollars) for jobs that will take less than 1 hour. I kicked him out but had to pay the $69.99 visit feeIt was after they left that I realized that these people scammed me by collecting visit fee after quoting an outrageous amount for simple jobs.Even plumbers in the White House do not get paid $1400 for an hour's job

Great service today on my furnace. Frank got it working for me. He was polite and professional. You should know, however that I called your company yesterday to report my problem this was at 1 PM. I was informed that someone would be out by 5. That hour passed and I called back only to learn that no one would be able to service my furnace until tomorrow (friday). It was a cold night. I've used Edward's many times in the past. Never had a problem like that. You should keep your customer advised about these things. Do not make the customer seek out the information. Or better yet if you say you'll be out make sure that you are!

Repair was fine. I don’t really have any complaints about the work although it was very, very expensive. Not sure if I overpaid or not. But, the technician did not show up the day of the appointment and nobody called. It was not an emergency so not really a big deal but not a good business practice at all.

I have had Edwards Plumbing out for a couple of different issues at both my home and at my office. One time I had a houseful of company from out of town and we started backing up into the wash tub in the basement. Edwards came out at 11:30pm to snake the drain. That was a year ago and I've had no issues since. Today, I had them out to my office to replace a faucet in a bathroom sink. Each time, I have had a knowledgeable plumber who took care of the issues and cleaned up their area in a very timely fashion. Thanks for another job well done!

I had them do my sewer repair it looks like they were never here they came and in a day the whole thing was done. This has been the most nerve wracking thing in my life with human feces in my basement. Myself and my kids were breathing in this for 3 days before I called EPH. I called multiple company's and stressed that I had human waste in my basement and a new baby and kids and no one would help me. I'm so grateful for them. They were helpful, they explained everything and offered to help even clean the mess with the other department they have Restoration when they came out the same day the sanitized my basement they threw away everything that needed to be thrown away and the price was reasonable for everything. EPH you have been heaven sent to me and my family i would give you a thousand stars if I could. Thank you so much

The plumber that showed up, Owen, was very polite very nice and worked very hard. The job was bigger than expected and he had to call Malcolm in, a restoration manager. They worked diligently to finish the job which they did diligently. Malcom Had to remove some of my laminate flooring and trim to pull the thing out in order to get to the area they were working. He put everything together and looks Great.

Irresponsible! At first they said “you’re first.” Then called and “oops no, have to bid on something first” then called and said I’m on Carpenter road picking up supplies. Arrived VERY LATE. Then, didn’t finish the job-but insisted on full payment. Then, the call center said the plumber would come back tomorrow between 2-5 pm arrival. Gave up on them —Going to call Hutzel instead.They dealt with my husband in Ann Arbor.

I called and was told that they would send someone out between 5 and 9. I hadnt had hot water for almost 24 hours. I got a call about 15 minutes later that a technician would be about 30 minutes away. The technician was awesome and honest. Definetly would use them again in a heart beat.

Had 2 techs come in to diagnose why the furnace would not turn on. Neither could figure it out. Charged $149 dollars, and gave an invalid diagnoses. Wanted to send a 3rd tech, but wanted to collect another fee, for tech to show up. When I said, I will pay only for a finished job, I was asked to give credit card info over the phone, otherwise tech would not show up.Tech never showed up, job did not get finished. I personally thought, they had no HVAC experience. Want to add that the same company installed Goodman furnace at our place, and their techs couldn't diagnose issue. After replacing motherboard, wrong wiring to blower caused it to blow up. Will never hire again.

Happy ending, but our backed up sewer in the basement took 3 visits from technicians before they finally sent the right person withe the right equipment, and with some hard skilled work, finally reached the blockage and got us flushing again. First guy showed me what the prob was. But I had to push the second guy to just get the longer snake, which he then said didn’t exist and I may as well go for the expensive jet option. He left and they sent the third guy, who had the cheaper equipment and finally cleared our pipe. Was it just because I pushed that I didn’t get reamed?

Called to get a vacuum breaker installed for irrigation. Was very specific about the project over the phone. Technician showed up a day after we were told he would be here and informed us that they do not do this type of work. They charged me $69.00 to tel me that they couldn’t do something, when I was told over the phone that they could. Worst experience I’ve had with a plumber to date.

Very great price. Came out on the weekend in 2 hours. Cleared up our issue and tested systems to make sure water wasn’t backing up anymore. Fast and very friendly. Gave a cash tip and now I don’t have to mess with dragging a 300 pound machine from home derpot down my steps and fight the issue myself. Beautiful. *cracks beer open*

Austin was my service technician, and he was absolutely amazing! Very helpful and knowledgeable! Also they told me my technician would be here between 5pm-9pm, he actually arrived early which was great. Now my pipes are unclogged. He even gave me advice on the dishwasher and my master bathroom tub which he didn't have to do, but he did and I appreciated that! He also saw the top of my disposal off because it was corroded and rotted and I have chosen not to get another disposal and even though me and my best friend were going to do it ourselves he offered to do it free of charge and took time out of his day to do an extra job on top of what he was already doing so with all that being said I am very happy with the company and very happy with the technician and I would choose them any other time for any other plumbing services that I need. they definitely go above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone thank you so much Edwards Plumbing and heating.

Called today and was told that someone could most definitely come out same day, late afternoon. Never got an eta or update. We called back after 4pm and was told someone was in our area finishing up a job and that we would be next. Hour and a half later still no actual eta and no one called to say they were on the way. We Called back and cancelled. I understand that some jobs may take longer than expected but be professional and give customers an update or let them know something is taking longer than expected. We basically waited around all morning and afternoon for someone to help us with plumbing for our kitchen sink. We have a 7 month old baby that needs to eat bottles and have clean ones ready, without a sink we had to go to a family members house to feed our baby

A pipe connection into my water boiler furnace had rusted through, and it resulted in flooding throughout most of my apartment. Joe came out to access the damages and was extremely professional and willing to answer any and all questions that I had. He then came out a few days later to install a new furnace, along with the help of Scott T. Again, both of them were very professional, respectful of my place, and answered all questions I had. Joe had mentioned that he would have to come back to finish up some minor things. He came back out this past Sunday, worked around MY schedule, and finished up the job. Terrible experience! Never showed! I called for service on Monday afternoon and was told a repairman would be out between 8-11 the next day. Great! After no one showed and I had not gotten a call, I called at noon and was told I was next in line and someone would be there shortly. Still no show or call by 3:00 so I called again. The person told me she would contact the repairman and call me right back but 90 minutes went by without a call. I called again at 4:30 and was told the repairman wouldn’t be able to come today after all. Check the other reviews before calling this company because there are many others with this same bad experience. Please think twice before rewarding terrible service with your business!*** This business has now responded to my review with total lies!!! They never tried to call me to say they were coming out. The only calls they have on record were the 3 times I called them to see where the repairman was. Each time, I was told someone was on their way. So, not only does this business have terrible customer service, but they are also in the business of telling lies!!!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the latest service I've received from this company.1. After receiving a phone call saying the technician would be there in 30-45 minutes, he showed up 1 hour and 25 minutes later2. I needed to get a new hot water heater. He said he'd be back in about an hour with everything - he was back in 2 hours and needed to leave during the installation to get a vital part he didn't get before3. He left his booties on my kitchen counter and tracked mud all over my floor.4. He didn't turn the water back on for my washing machine.5. When I called to report the issue, the call service had the technician call me. He kept telling me to just reach back there to turn it on, even though the space was too tight and the washer/dryer combo positioned so it couldn't be reached without moving the unit (which I was having difficulty doing. He said he couldn't come back that night or the next day because he was off, but I could call the call center to arrange for someone to come out and fix it free of charge.6. When I called the call center, they seemed surprised that someone would come out to fix a mistake made by their technician free of charge. They had me hang up so they could call the technician.7. After twenty minutes, they called back to tell me that no one could come out that night (even though they're a 24 hour business), but the same technician would come out the next day to fix it.Rather than have the same technician come back to my home, I managed to get the washer/dryer combo out of the closet by removing the closet door. When I did so, I saw what a shoddy job they did reattaching my dryer vent hose. There were holes in it. I'm still working on repairing that.I've used Edwards Plumbing and Heating before and been satisfied with their work on little things, but after this I'm doubtful I'll use them again.

From start to finish Edwards has been terrific to deal with. I called on a Saturday night because we had raw sewage coming up from the basement bathroom drain. Adam came out around 1030pm and remedied the problem and also scopes the pipe and informed us we had a collapsed pipe. He was out in a few days to get the repair started and worked very well with the insurance company to make sure it was all covered within a week or so we had a large portion of our pipe replaced as well as the cement poured back to complete the job. Then Malcolm came out to do the restoration work and did a terrific job. He left it better than it was before and I am extremely satisfied with the work from the company as a whole. Already recommended to many family and friends!

Be very wary of this company. A week after my job complete, they rerun both my checks bouncing my account. My bank is handling. Will not return my calls. A simple mistake or fraud? Zero communication makes me think fraud.

What a JOKE of a company. We called and made an appointment... usual 4 hour window garbage. At the end of the 4 hour window... we call them and get the last job took longer that he thought so no one is coming out. Think about that for a minute... they didn't call us, they KNEW the current job was running later than expected, we had to call them.So NO ONE WAS GOING TO SHOW UP OR CALL US? House is hot, we had a birthday party scheduled for tomorrow... you could have just called and gave us the option of going with someone else. Instead, I have to pay emergency rates with another vendor for Sunday service... this is the type of company they are. If you cant do the job, dont take the appointment! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!Good thing I work in retail and talk to hundreds of customers every day... I'm sure my anger may quiet down over time.... but I promise my mouth won't.

First call from you was at 747 am, told service tech 30 minutes out from arriving. I called twice when more than 1 hour and a half past with no arrival. Second call stated 10 minutes more. 1 more hour past before contact that tech was on way to job location, 30 minutes passed before arrival. Service tech need 3 trips to local hardware store to purchase all items needed to complete job. Tech was pleasant will on job, very respectful. I need to supply him with towels and tools to complete service. Please supply me with receipt (time stamped) for services paid.

Heat failed at 9 Friday night at my niece's home with lows heading to the single digits and two infants under 6 months in the house. Called Edwards, they couldn't get anyone out until between midnight and 3 a.m., but it would save me a trip downriver.Woke up at 8 and called my niece. Edwards never called, never showed up. I packed up my tools. Had the access panel off and narrowed it down to the igniter control board or maybe the igniter when Edwards called at 10. They could have someone there in 30 minutes.Decided I'd rather pay someone than fix this myself, so left it for the technician.The technician was polite and efficient and said it was the igniter control board... and he couldn't fix it because he didn't have a board and their suppliers were all closed for New Years. They could get the part on Tuesday... this was Saturday.I suggested he check with other Edwards technicians to see if anyone else had the board... he thought that was a good idea, but no luck.In the end I had the privilege of paying Edwards $89 to tell me what I already knew so I could drive to an OPEN supply company, buy the part, and swap it out myself.The supplier is called RepairClinic... on Michigan Ave in Canton. Dear Edwards, please don't leave a customer without heat for 3 days because you don't want to drive to Canton. Your customers will pay the hourly rate for the drive if you explain it is due to the holiday... I would have.Heat is on. Six hours of my Saturday with family from out of town didn't happen because the heat failed and I called the wrong repair company for the situation.

This company is an absolute disaster. We had the company come out on an emergency call about a year ago and at first everything looked great. We were pleased with the work they did and the price. About 6 months later the newly installed main line started flooding into our basement. We had to fight with them multiple times to come out at a time we were available. Finally a technician came out and they decided that caulk would solve the problem...it did not. Since then we've had them come out 5-6 times only to do the same thing...add more caulk.A year later and we still have a flooding issue and they will not answer our phone calls or call back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I have no idea how they have four stars on google. They do not let you speak with managers until you start threaten to call BBB and even then they're very uncooperative. If I could give negative rating it would definitely be a -5 Stars

Needed a new dishwasher installed. Technician removed the old dishwasher (not an easy task) and hooked up the tubing and electrical for the new one without issue. That was where the quality of service stopped. The technician repeatedly told me that the parts and instructions that came with the dishwasher were either wrong or not needed. More than once, when the dishwasher wasn't fitting correctly, I had to consult the manual and find one of the pieces that he had discarded earlier. At the point when he was done, he had scratched the new dishwasher and the floor, left out two screws that I told him where they went, and left my house a complete mess. I paid him just to get him out of my house. Once he left, I had to remove the dishwasher and remount it myself so that the door would open and close correctly. Overall, a complete waste of $600 and the least professional plumbing service that I have dealt with in this area.

I had major flooding outside of my house, thought it might be the sump pump. They came out on a Sunday afternoon, quick response time. The guy was really nice and professional and explained that it was my sprinklers. Time to call the sprinkler company! I would definitely use them again.

Very responsive, professional and a fair value. We encountered frozen pipes and a broken thermostat. We called late morning on a Saturday and by late afternoon that day we had two technicians at our place. Both Marcus and Issaih were professional, courteous and efficient. We had a couple of hiccups but nothing the fault of the service personnel. The Company kept us in the loop as to timing and made an otherwise nerve wracking experience tolerable. The price and value was fair. I would recommend Edwards to friends and family.

-8hr delay in service-requested before/after photos as part of the invoice, never got that included in the contract or the photos as part of my service-over priced by $100s because company has to pay the owner, processing fees, and the plumber. I called them on Monday morning to schedule an appointment for someone to come out to take a look at a leaky faucet. They said they are able to send someone out the same day in the evening from 5-9pm. I got a call a few hours before they were set to come out stating they were running behind and if we can reschedule. Not a problem. Rescheduled for Thursday between 1-5pm, took half day off at work to wait for them...No call, no show. Got a missed phone call at 6:15pm, they didn’t even bother to leave a voicemail. I called back around 6:40pm, was told they wouldn’t be able to make it today. It would have been nice to get this information much earlier so I wouldn’t waste my time waiting around. Spoke to a clueless guy, told me he’ll contact his manager to see what they are able to do for me. At this point, I wouldn’t even want to do business with them. Extremely disappointed in the customer service, and clearly this company does not value my time. Save yourself the trouble and find a different company who values your time.

Had a 3 foot pipe to move in our bathroom. Quoted me $1,600. Said it was an all day job, yea right. I had a local heating and plumbing come out and do the jobfor $500 and they were done in two hours. These guys are a rip off, period!!!!!

Lack of communication from the management was a bit frustrating. They made promises that weren't kept and did not coordinate with the people doing the actual work. The actual plumbers and workmen were good.

Under the extreme circumstances of storms and flooding, I was surprised to get a plumber to the house the same evening. Adam did a great job and was very courteous and professional. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to the very confusing conversations with dispatch.

I do not recommend this unprofessional company! If you have money to give away for phony repairs, call Edwards Plumbing and Heating.They sent someone they claimed was a plumber. He inspected sinks and toilets and decided there was over $500 worth of repairs that needed to be completed. My intuition prompted me to get a second opinion from a professional plumbing company. The professional plumber did not find any problems. I asked him to check the specific items Edwards Plumbing and Heating claimed were in need of repairs. He double checked everything and said NO repairs were needed!I paid Edwards Plumbing and Heating a $59 service call to send out some guy who made up phony repairs. The honest and professional plumber didn’t charge a dime for coming out. It’s such a blessing to encounter a plumber (or any contractor) with integrity who isn’t trying to cheat people out of their money.

I don’t have a bathroom in my basement. I just called to have them come out and give me an estimate to install a toilet, sink and shower and they wanted to charge me $69. Just for an estimate. Makes no sense.

Aaron Maisano was very nice. However, the business failed to inform me that my service call that had a mandatory $85 service fee would also require a diagnostic fee. The problem I’m having with this business is the lack of transparency and truthful communication. The technician charged me $85 plus $189 just to tell me what I already told him. I paid $274 to receive an estimate. What is the $85 for? How do you provide an estimate without a diagnosis?Oh while calling to gain more understanding of the $274 dollars I was robbed of, the customer rep couldn’t explain why I was charged that particular fee. The rep then put me on hold stating “ he was checking a recording” to ensure I was aware of the fees. This action was a bad business tactic. Legally, calls that are being recorded are supposed to be disclosed beforehand. However, I was born yesterday and there is no way he went through hours of recording in 2 mins to locate my specific call and time.

I called this company for service after seeing so many good reviews on Google. They were very quick to come out, however they hounded me for my credit card number before they came out. I mean I told them I would call back in 15 minutes, and they called me back in 5 minutes. I was told repeatedly that wants to technician was there and diagnose the problem, he would call me with an estimate and let me know what needed to be repaired. This did not happen. It wasn't until the next day when I called the company to inquire about what was wrong, that I was told I had an $860 invoice. They claimed the toilet was previously installed incorrectly( four years ago ). And they also claim that they pulled the toilet repaired a broken flange and put the toilet back all within a half an hour. I don't buy it. Maybe they changed a wax ring, but there is no way they repaired a flange that fast. Furthermore, when I called them, I told them we weren't sure what was leaking, and they went ahead and repair the toilet, without authorization, and left a note saying that the tub also has a slow leak. Why wasn't that fix? Why wasn't I contacted about that? I've called twice and cannot get a call back from.a Manager or owner.Absolute worst experience I have had with a plumber. I manage 13 properties in Oakland County and I've never experienced such unprofessional service.

First of all I think all the five star reviews are fake! I do not know how in the hell this company has any 5 star reviews period! I have contacted them several times over a water heater that was installed a year ago and has never worked properly and NOT one person has called me back.. I keep getting passed to other people! This water heater cost almost $1200 which is Outrageous to begin with & when I did get one man on the phone I said it has to be under warranty & he says aww no it was a year ago.. & my receipt clearly states that there is a 6 year warranty!! I honestly feel completely scammed!

So greatful for Joe at Edwards Plumbing and Heating. Sunday morning my furnace stopped working. Joe was there within an hour and in 10 minutes had it back up and running. Could not have asked for better or quicker service and this all happened on the weekend!!!

We called late at night for an emergency job. Tech showed up within a few hours. He was really nice and respectful. Tech came back next day to do the job but did not complete the job. Even though he was very nice, he is not experienced enough and did a very poor job with what he did manage to do. It is a good thing he didn't finish the job because he did not do the venting properly and the gas/carbon monoxide would have leaked into our home. He did try to get the job done the best he could and even called his company for help but nobody would come to help him. He seemed to have very little knowledge on the job we needed done. And I must add that he wore his everyday expensive shoes and wound up taking them off and running around my home in his socks working because he didn't want to crease or get his shoes dirty (what professional does that!!) We tried calling the company the next day 3 times to get someone out here to fix/finish the job and nobody ever called back or showed up. We had to result to calling another company to come and fix the mess the tech created and to finish the job. It took the new company 1 hour to get the job completed. I will never use Edwards again. I am extremely disappointed in their company and employees

After charging me $600 for a drain snake and a valve swap, they had me on my back doing my own work on my valve. They couldn't do it. Plumber fantasy camp. What a joke. Still leaking.

Guy was friendly, went a little out of his way to ensure its working reliably. Knocked off a good chunk of the price if I put my wall panel back on, which I did, and was thankful for. I thought initially it was a tad expensive but that changed my mind. Also, paid for quality service. Trustable. Can recommend.

I use this company for the first time the other day they were prompt and time very professional pricing was affordable I would recommend them to my family and friends

I called for a gas line install and they scheduled me for the next day. They next day they had to reschedule for the following day. The following day they were late and moved to the next day. When they finally came they wanted over double the average rate for the install per foot and didn't even have the pipe needed to to do the install so they would still have to come back yet another day. Ended up paying $70 for a quote 3 days late for work they didn't even show up with the means to do and wanted to double the standard rate to do it.

They helped clean my main drain and P-trap. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very fast response and great service. We had just moved into our new home and the water heater broke leaving us with no hot water. Our furnace went out on a Saturday before a holiday and I was concerned we wouldn’t be able to get anyone out for repairs but Larry was able to get to us and repair our furnace quickly and for a reasonable price! Larry was wonderful even with our incredibly cramped space he had to work in.

David was very professional and explained everything he was going to be doing for us. He was able to accomplish everything we asked of him. He also cleaned up his work areas very well. David was great and my family and I couldn't thank him enough!

Without going into much detail, the majority of the technicians are inexperienced and do not carry the proper tools needed to do their job properly. Austin was a very respectful honest guy that told me about my house that I just bought I need to take up my whole floor to repipe my whole kitchen floor and I will like him to do it once I get some house owner insurance to my property within 6 months

Just bought a house and the first day we had an issue with the shower/tub. I called EPH and they sent out Duran. He was prompt, polite and knew exactly what he was doing. He showed me what he was doing and why. He fixed the problem in no time and even showed me how to adjust the internal mechanism in the handle to limit or increase the amount of hot water allowed through.I Highly recommend EPH.

Edwards was available for same day assistance which I greatly appreciated. The serviceman was on time and I received both a text and a call that he was on his way. Great care was taken to answer all of my questions and to provide explanations. I highly recommend Edwards Plumbing!

So I had Dylan ( not sure if I spelled that out right) on7/15/17 he was great. Had Home Depot install and deliver a range and a dishwasher. They (Home Depot) said they could not do the dishwasher due to the copper line shut off was in the basement. Dylan came here the same day and helped with the line and putting the dishwasher in. Great service and great company. Hopefully I won't have to call them again but if I need a plumber I will call them fingers crossed.

This company no-call no-showed for multiple appointments for an emergency plumbing issue. When they finally decided to show up, their plumbing technician was rude and did not abide by agreed upon workflow process. They do not warranty any of their work and no one at their main office from management is able to take any responsibility for their lack of quality service. Avoid this company at all costs.

Called them out to take care of water heater that was leaking water. I called another company out that could not help and said he would have to wait till morning. I had Nick come out from Edwards and he said no problem our shop is right down the street we keep all sizes in stock for emergency's. I recognized the logo and could not put my finger on it for a minute and then realized this is the same company that fixed my sump pump at my home in Ann Arbor. Had no idea they had another office in Dearborn. This is the third time I have used their service but my first experience at this location since I moved to Dearborn. They did not even charge me extra for night service and were still 50 dollars cheaper then the company that was going to come back during normal business hours. Hot shower tomorrow morning here I come!!!!

Feel like I got ripped off. They charged me $490 for less than 2 hours of work. The plumber had to remove the toilet and snake the pipe, lay down plastic, and cleanup. (Also asked if I had any rags he could use)After talking to some plumbers I know, they said that shouldn’t have costed more than $200. And tried to sell me on having the pipe water jetted and having an outdoor clean out put in. Of course, those are BIG MONEY. Won’t be using this company again.

I had a plumbing emergency one evening. I called and they said they would come that evening. Hours later, they said they could not and would come in the morning. There were a series of calls in the morning indicating information about the technician, including that his truck broke down and that he would be delayed. The plumber showed up in the afternoon and reeked of alcohol. He did not have the camera scope that I indicated needing on the phone. I asked him to contact the company for the best next steps and to wait until they confirmed with me the plan. He left before anyone called. I had to call the company back to ask about the plan - they said it would take another 2 hours for a tech to come out with the proper equipment. After lodging my frustration about the process, the phone operator said it is what it is. That is when I cancelled service. Quite reprehensible.

My experience was okay, but I would not give this company 5 stars. Let’s discuss why:1- I was scheduled for someone to come out and repair my leaky kitchen sink and was given a time frame of 1-7 pm. So, I canceled all my plans and stayed home waiting for them. By 6:05 pm, nobody had called to let me know that the plumber was running behind and was never going to be able to make it on our scheduled day. I don’t like that my time was not considered.2- When the plumber came out the next day (today), he was extremely friendly and personable. This is why I am giving the company any stars. Bc the plumber himself was very nice. HOWEVER, this company charged us $540 to replace the faucet that was leaky. I know faucets can cost anywhere from $40- 200 at Lowe’s or Home Depot. The faucet he used to replace our old one with was ordinary enough (meaning, I’m doubting it cost more than $60 bucks). This means the service fee was almost 400-450 dollars.I’m glad our problem was taken care of but I do believe the service fee was way higher than other businesses I could have used. Especially considering the poor communication and time wasted waiting on the plumber for a full day before that. I should add that the company charges $70 just to come out and tell you what’s wrong, but this fee is applied to the full service if you agree to use their services.

I don’t know how they have 4 stars. I called them on Sunday. They offered same day services but I wasn't ready to spend all that money when it wasn't an emergency. So we scheduled for Monday it is now Tuesday at 9:30(ish)pm they call and say that their worker was still working do we want to wait. You call at 9:30 at night to ask if I want to wait, after two whole days of staying home waiting?? The most unprofessional “company” they offered me “10%”off. NO THANK YOU. If you offered free service I wouldn't want you at my house at this point. Horrible.

I recently bought a home and the hot water tank needed replaced. Though there was a scheduling snafoo with the initially scheduled first visit, the people who took my calls, as well as the technician, James D, handled the installation of my hot water heater very promptly and professionally. James was kind, personable, helpful, and efficient, and I am overall very happy with the service I received on 6/10/19! I definitely will use this company in the future. Thank you!

I was very impressed in dealing not only with the company but their service representative, Elliot. I informed him of the issue and he thoroughly examined the issue at hand. Additionally, i liked that he wore shoe covers since i have new carpeting. Lastly, i liked that they took pictures of tbe issue and will send me a report. I asked the company to return in 2 weeks for a follow up and they will. I will definitely use them again. I recommend this company.

Worst company. I called them two days ago because My kitchen’s sink was clogged. They told me that they were coming next day and never did. Then I called again they said that the technician tried to contact me but I never answered which didn’t happen. Then I rescheduled for the day after they ended up coming and charged me $300 to fix it which they did; however, The garbage disposal started to leak which never did before. I called to tell them what happened and they sent the tech back to me he told me that it is not his fault and ended up giving me his supervisor phone number. I called the supervisor and he told me the same thing it’s not our fault and the garbage disposal is just old and it’s a coincidence and the fix will be expensive. Bottom line, I accepted the high price from the beginning to get it fixed by a professional and that didn’t happen they ended up taking $300 and now I have to replace the garbage disposal which that will expensive according to Mr supervisor.

If I could give negative stars I would. Called well in advance to fix a leak in my basement. Not a bad leak, so told them it could wait a few days. They scheduled me out a few days. The timeframe was worse than the cable guy - between 1 and 7 pm. At 6 pm I got a text saying they wouldn’t be able to make it. I called back on the number and no one answers. Next day I called several times to check in to see when they were coming. Their dispatch process is extremely annoying. Recorded messages and non answers. Finally someone tells me it’ll be afternoon. At 10 minutes to 6 I get an automated text to tell me the technician is ready. I Call back 15 minutes later and they tell me the technician has already been dispatched elsewhere. Ridiculous. Poor customer care and service. Exceptionally problematic interaction for dispatch and scheduling. I’ve decided to go elsewhere.

Our basement flooded and put our pilot out on our hot water tank and we couldn't re-light it for 4 days. We called and they came out the same day within a few hours. The guy came out and went downstairs and did it once and it lit immediately. He stayed to make sure it wouldn't go out again, but the price was ridiculously high. $99 just to re-light a pilot and $69 just to come out. The guy who came out was very friendly and knowledgeable. Next time I'll look around and price.

My issue was not resolved over the course of 3 days and 2 technicians. The technicians and dispatchers were courteous and informative, but unable to get my water back on.

The technician was very nice and came in a timely manner. My issue is with cost. To replace a refrigerator water line and a small pipe was $980. He told me to buy the water line and do it on my own it would probably be $120, (the pipe that was a foot long was over $300) but because of labor (over $500), it was expensive. Over $500 for labor for a job that took an hour. That’s outrageous.

Just had the man leave our house,on a Sunday afternoon none the least, very informative and attentive to our concerns.Only problem we never got the guys name .I would say hesh probably one on nice's tech's I've had in my home .Thanks for hiring such professional people

Overpriced !!!! I had a water leak in the pipe connected to the water heater. I called this company and technician came. He almost spent 15 mins at my home and charged a bill of $375. Basically, he replaced the pipe. I later realised that the water heater is not working once the pipe is fixed. I called them again and and a new technician came and confirmed that the water heater was not working. He said it was a coincidence. He then charged another 69$ as service charge. I was really disappointed.Anyway I don't want them to install the new water heater and they lost a future customer!!!

Told me that the sewage extractor failed and needed to be replaced and quoted almost $1500 glad I didn’t have that to get off of at the moment I started tinkering with it some and found that the check valve was stuck closed. Took the check valve off cleaned and put back on and works perfect. In conclusion it seems the tech jumped to the most expensive repair instead of considering cheaper options first.

Made an appointment with this company, they first of all took down the wrong number and after 5 attempts to get the right number from me they still managed to get it wrong, it's 9pm the same night and still no show no call, 24 hour service, so they want you to stay up 24 hours so they can push your appointment off again and again , and when you call back you get the same incompetence from the answering service time and time again. Plumbing made be good but the incompetent answering service is going to cost them a lot of future jobs , I surely will not call them for the businesses I run , 1 star is entirely to high for the level of service I believe will never show up . Save your time because they clearly believe your time is of no value.wrong , you want to make yourself look like you tried when in fact you failed to call the right number after getting the right number several times , I could care less what you want to charge someone , you failed but want to try and save face, epic fail guys , I would rather pay four to tens times the amount as opposed to a company that lies and then tries to cover it with your ridiculous comments, your company is the reason why people don't trust plumbers and money grubbing owners , customer service is not what you do and resolve no you didn't do that either , you and your comments are an absolute joke, you don't have the first concept of customer service and the fact you can't write down the correct number is not the fault of any one but you , and your answering service, maybe start by listening and learning customer service and the value of the customers time , I'm glad you have so much business that you can act like a idiot

Scott was not only on time, but early from what we were originally quoted for a time range. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The water heater suddenly stopped heating and Edwards was the first to respond with a realistic time for repair. Other shops we would have waited weeks. The new water heater was installed and working quicker than you can say Hot shower! Also the toilet was slow to fill and Scott was able to quickly repair it while he was there. Price was more than we wanted to spend, but the job was done correctly and thoroughly. You do pay for quality work. Thanks Edwards!

I had them snake a drain by the washing machine they could not get it uncoged so they said i have broken pipes they charged be 225 dollards for the job i asked them to charge me half because it is still clogged he said i was crazy .

My Fiancé had called your company Edwards Heating and Plumbing earlier this morning around 10am 7/5/23 to request service at our home on our shower as our faucet in our shower is leaking water and we have had to turn our water off to keep it from running. We were quoted a time frame today for a technician to come out between 1pm - 7pm, after waiting all day for the technician to come out someone from your company called at 6:20pm stating that there would no longer be a technician coming out. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with your company because of this. My Fiancé had left work today to come home to wait for the technician to come out and we have wasted our entire day waiting for a technician to show as was promised in the 6 hour time frame we were given only to receive a call 30 minutes prior to 7pm stating no one would be coming. The lack of communication and waiting until a half hour before 7pm is incredibly unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable. We absolutely needed someone to come out today and we could have utilized our time and called someone else to come fix our faucet had we known no one from your company would be coming out. Now we are unable to get someone to come out tonight because of it being so late. We lost out on so much today because of unprofessionalism and carelessness. Terrible business at its finest. To anyone else reading this, do not bother wasting your time or money with this place.

The call center staff are polite and helpful, the technician was quick and efficient, and the owner made sure that my concerns were respected and heard. The owner of this company genuinely cares about the quality and honesty of the service provided. He volunteered to personally research my dispute and made sure everything was sorted out. My original rating was 2 stars because I had a bad encounter with a very rude manager, but one person’s attitude does not reflect on the quality of service as a whole.

Would recommend not just the company but the technician Marcus was the best, he kept his word and did a great job! They communicated through the whole process letting me know the tech was hung up on another job and when he was on his way.

Have filed a fraud report with the Warren Michigan police dept.They put $4689. On a charge card they set up. The work was cancelled and never done.They keep telling me that they are going to call right back.The charge card company advised us to file a fraud report, and they were taking the above amount off.

John was very personable and knowledgeable. Ended up having to come out three days in a row because of other problems we had that he brought to our attention. He was very polite every time and very fair with pricing. If their call center wasn't a complete joke I would give 5 stars. Lucky they have such good techs otherwise I would never use the company again just because of the call center. Between the overseas call center, the guy in the local office and the technicians, there is way too much miscommunication and confusion when it comes to timing of appointments and payment. They should come up with a better billing format than having someone hounding me for my credit card over the phone at 9:30 am when the technician was scheduled to come back that day and said I could pay the balance then. We finally all got on the same page and it worked out well, but the extra hassle while I was at work was unnecessary.

After numerous times of flooding at my home, I knew it was time to Google a plumber. I found Edwards Plumbing and Heating and instantly gave them a call. Their customer service was great! Very polite and eager to find a solution to my problem! Within a couple of days I had an appointment (very impressive). They arrived at my home on time, with equipment and ready to work. The job was done thoroughly and in a timely manner. I couldn't have been more satisfied :) I would definitely use Edwards Plumbing and Heating again and I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Timely service on a late Friday night to resolve an urgent water leak. Aaron went above and beyond to make sure all of our concerns were addressed.

The lack of professionalism at this establishment speaks for itself! You can never get ahold of the owner the company, and management takes forever to respond to major issues.I had a plumbing job from frozen pipes that took several months for them to work. I was told they would replace all plumbing from the main line to each fixture, wrap heat tape around all pipes, and replace the insulation and moisture barrier. I was told itt would take about 3 days to complete.The plumber, Rob, was lazy and good for nothing. He kept putting off doing the work because, The company had an emergency job for him to do. He would show up, work an hour, then leave. He never cleaned up afterwards.It had been six months since my initial estimate and the job was still not completed. I finally hired another company to finish the job. They ended up replacing over 1/3 of the work done by Edward's, and finished what Edwards never did! They never replaced the plumbing to the shower, nor to my washer they left the original junction pipes which were totally blocked with corrosion. They didn't wrap but 1/2 the exterior pipes, never replaced the insulation or moisture barrier. I never received a refund or a return call from the owner or any management.My neighborhood has banned them from ever doing work on any homes.Beware of this company at all costs...

Boiler went out. Serviceman came. Cleaned it with my husbands compressor. Couldn't figure out what else was the matter since it wasn't sparking right. If he didn't know about boilers all he had to do was say so. Husband got upset and told him to just get out. Didn't know what he was doing. Called another company that night and got it fixed quickly. Would not recommend. Just received a bill for $85.00.

A plumber came out and gave an extremely high price for a small job. I explained I wouldn’t be using them. Then I was charged $69 for the visit. He could have tripled his price then told me it was $69. I wonder if they do this all day long?!?I shouldn’t have had them come out. Now I need to find a more reasonably priced plumber.

Had them out for a flood/clogged drain/needed a sump solution. All the guy wanted to do was sell me a 50 gallon water heater for $2500. Or he said I could go tankless for $6000.

Their plumber Jonah came to my house and fixed the plumbing issue pretty fast. He was respectful and did a good job. This is the 2nd time I've used Edwards, and both times I've been pleasedMy issue with this company comes from their customer service. They called me at 7:30 am to tell me the plumber would be there in 30 minutes. More that 1.5 hours later, he showed up. He said he had a 1 hour and 10 minute drive. Customer service should be aware of the length of time it takes their drivers to go from job to job, or from wherever they are traveling from, and figure this into the equation. It's just poor customer service to do otherwise. I have more to do with my time than sit around waiting for a plumber.

I needed a plumber for the main water supply meter-horn repair and acquired the necessary part from the city. Found Edwards Plumbing and Heating online along with many other companies. The call-center was excellent, responsive and trying to meet my scheduling needs, and that pretty much gave me confidence to hire the company (two other plumbing companies didn't even call me back). However, on the scheduled date I received an early call that the service has to be postponed, they had no technician in the area, OK, no problem, things happen, I rescheduled for the next day, Saturday, after I was assured there is a technician available and there is no weekend surcharge. In the mean time I am working night shifts but the repair is sort of urgent. On the day of service the company did not call or showed up in the newly scheduled time frame. They did call an hour and a half after the scheduled time, meantime I am trying to sleep and my family went out to enjoy the weekend after we gave up hopes that the repair will be done that day… going back to the call, the call center operator said they can send a technician right away after I expressed my frustration with their service and I told them that the company doesn’t respect their clients time. Again the call center operator was very nice and tried to mitigate the issue. The technician arrived timely within half an hour. He was professional, except he did not wear a mask. He gave me estimate that was higher than I expected but I accepted the job, because I needed the repair and didn’t want to deal with more calls and contractors. The repair was done timely and I believe the quality was good, the original problem appeared fixed. Paid by credit card on the spot, and received an emailed bill that to my surprise was not itemized. Ultimately, I am satisfied with the quality of the repair but disappointed with the overall service experience, hence the 3 stars rating above. Unlikely to hire the same company again, but these issues are so common with these services and is always frustrating to deal with contractors. As I said two other companies that I have used before didn't even call me back...

Overpriced plumbing prices, just to change a toilet flange they wanted to charge me $850 for a simple job, when I talked to them on the phone they told me it would only cost $150. The plumbers are very unprofessional, one of the plumbers came in high on the job. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy

The guy came in, fiddled with the water heater for half an hour, then told me he relit it and that it'd be 200$ or so....But I called in for a leak...I showed him the excess water on the floor, and he then took a second look and told me I'd have to replace the water heater. It was about 13 years old, so that was the right call.He told me it'd be a little under 1800$, which would cover the cost of the replacement tank and the labor.It took about 4 hours for them to go get a new tank and do everything.My big gripe outside them nearly charging me for a repair I didn't ask for, was the mess they left my house in.There was more water in my carpeted basement then when they started. And parts of the carpeted floor had been torn up and left tossed about.

This was weird. After hours I was connected to a person in Asia, but this is a real company who did show up and did a great job.

I scheduled a AC service to repair the blowing hot air problem.The technician cant diagnose the problem at all. Also he tried to clean the pipe,However, he forgot clean the bottom tube.He made the tube stacked and caused the water leakage in my condo.The water leakage did damage to the carpet and the first floor roof.I made the call back to AC company, but they didn't do anything.They always told me they will call back tomorrow, but no one call me.they keep ignoring the my request.It is already one month since the water leakage.They didn't want to take response to their fault at all.Please stay away with this terrible company!!!Please stay away with this terrible company!!!Please stay away with this terrible company!!!

Dave D from the start was hands down the best plumber i have worked with. He was genuinely honest and his sense of urgency to rectify the problem impressed my wife and I. I own two homes and have worked with several plumbers. Props to Edwards Plumbing for having a 24 hour answering service because the three other plumbers we called prior went straight to voicemail. 1/4th of our basement flooded due to a failed sump pump. He couldnt take care of the job on the spot because it was 9pm and sump pump provider wasnt open. The next day the new sump pump was picked up and installed within a few hours by Dave D. I recommend water master SP-4 sump pump. The old pump lasted 40 years and they do provide a warranty. Michigan made product. Now my basement is prepared for years to come.

This place has awesome service! They were extremely quick to come out and the guys that did the work were extremely quick and efficient at both their estimate and the work performed. The price was way cheaper than I expected and the workers explained every step along the way and possible preventative actions I could take to prevent my sewer from getting backed up ever again.

Two man crew did their best to be helpful and courteous answering my questions. Obtained furnace's history trouble code, explained likely causes of the past failure, cleaned the unit and its sensors. Then adjusted slightly sunken exhaust line to eliminate possibility of condensate and exhaust pooling upstream from the exhaust pipe's outlet. Wore masks. Priced reasonably. No complaints

Work was done in a professional pace. Tim Arnold and his assistant were hard workers who put in the effort to make sure my water heater was replaced properly even though their shift ended an hour before they completed the work. They made sure to do the job right above & beyond which I appreciate. the turnaround time was awesome too. high marks are well earned.

Tony was great. He took the time to crawl into our small crawl space and have us run water to see if there were any leaks. There were none, just ground water.

This place is determined to rip people off. They gave me an estimate for 1750 to replace a water heater. The sum of parts was 600 and he said it would take 3 to 4 hours. That works out to almost 300 dollars an hour for labor. I dont know of any plumbers that legit make that much an hour for labor and Im a property manager. Break down your estimates before you accept service!! I hired another plumber and it was 900 bucks total!!

Will was on time, professional and did excellent work clearing my sewer drain. He put a camera down the drain to show me what caused the blockage and unclothed the drain for $260. Not sure if that's the normal rate but I'm very happy with the service. He also guarantees his work for 90 days!!!

I called them a couple nights ago after calling several 24 hr plumbers that told me they didnt have time to help me until the next day or 2 so not a legit 24 hr service. They came out at 930 PM and took about 10 min.(I needed my shower water turned off) knob was broke and hot water had been running for a couple hrs. The guy who came way very nice. I was a little Leary paying for the service before the plumber came, but it worked out .I'm glad they were able to help me because I was in a panic and its disappointing that all the competitors who advertise 24 hr service were all either to busy and a few never even returned my call which is so unprofessional. Plumber was very courteous and very efficient at identifying the cause of the issue - tub faucet would not stop running prior to main water being shut off. The washers were damaged and failed to seal when turning off handle. Plumber found appropriate replacement parts and replaced them in a timely manner. May 23, 2023 Scott came to my home to repair a water heater. Very pleasant and professional, finished the job and went out of his way to leave to get the part and come back to finish the job. However, I opted for an email receipt which came but it did not have a breakdown of costs just the total that I paid. What company doesn't give a breakdown of costs to the customer? This was Tuesday May 23 and It's Thursday now and I have been requesting an itemized receipt since Tuesday, because the water heater company will reimburse the parts. I have been told it has to go to accounting, I have also been told that the man that handles the receipts is really busy. I have asked to speak to a manager and was told they will have him call me. My next avenue is going to the shop in Dearborn to get to the bottom of this. Very frustrated with this company. Today May 31 is day 8, still waiting on itemized receipt. Called the office, was told they don't do itemized receipts. Asked to speak to management, sorry no one is here at this time, not sure when someone will be available. Posted reviews for this company on Yelp, BBB, here and Angi. Hopefully, people will look at reviews before hiring.

Sewage backed up in the basement. Called on a Sunday, tech was at my home Monday morning. They presented with shoe covers and mask on, COVID safe. Which made me comfortable. They were professional and resolved my concern quickly. Job was completed in less than an hour. I was thankful for the professionalism from my call to the company receptionist, to the dispatch person to alert me the technician was on his way, to the job performed! I would recommend and utilize this company again.

Within seconds of arriving, the plumber diagnosed that the garbage disposal was shot and it would cost $350 to purchase and install a new garbage disposal. Mind you, he didn’t even have a complete garbage disposal set with him and would have had to return to install it. Never once actually looking inside the drain, checking the breaker/GFI, or plumbing pipes. He pressed the reset button (which my daughter had already done the night before) and just started quoting replacement costs. I asked if he could just use a snake auger to drain kitchen sink=$150. Replacing kitchen pipes and removing damaged disposal=$220. Using snake to unclog bathtub and kitchen sink over $200. Told him I didn’t need any more of his services and he said charge would be $59. When I received receipt I was charged $69. He arrived at 530pm and left before 6pm. My daughter decided to check things out for herself at around 645pm. By 7:30 pm today my daughter fixed the drain in both the kitchen sink and bathtub AND the damaged garbage disposal started working again after she cleaned it and moved some parts around. Imagine that! We would’ve been $350+ in the hole!! Will never call Edwards Plumbing again.

Connect a gas line for outdoor grill and was grossly overcharged for 15 minutes of work. Contacted office and complained but owner never called back.
I should have used Thornton and Grooms instead.

Nathan Zimmerman came out to snake and do a camera inspection on my drain in the basement. Nathan went above an beyond to try to figure out what my drain issues were. I really appreciate the effort that was put into trying to figure out what the problem was. Only this about the company I didn't like was that I was quoted a certain price then when the technician gets there he says it also a travel fee. That should be explained up front. What if I would've only had the quoted amount.

PHENOMENAL company. First time customer, and I couldn't be happier. Tony (T4) came out to convert our old copper dryer gas line to code. He did a fantastic job, cleaned up, was personable, and I might just strive to become his apprentice someday soon... Highly recommended!

HONESTY is what you want to find in a company when it comes to repairs in your home! If you want a company that not only is honest, trustworthy and friendly, then use Edwards!! I called them about a estimate for a possible broken main water/sewer pipe, they sent out William K. He was absolutely fantastic!! Explained everything to me, concluded that the pipe didn't need to be replaced, but highly encouraged us to get our pipes blown out. He was very personable, and this company doesn't try to sell you on things that don't need repairs. From one homeowner to another I highly recommend using them and definitely requesting William K!! Had a blocked sewer line. Will and Tim came and would not leave until the job was done right. They cleaned the work area after they were finished. Excellent knowledge; hard work and determination are what these 2 men were all about! Highly, HIGHLY recommend Edwards Plumbing and ask for Will! Thank you!

Made an appointment the day before and was told someone would be out between 8am and 1pm. I called after 11:30 because I hadn't heard from them, they guy stated that the technician would call when he was on his way but not sure how long that would be. After waiting all morning I get a call at 12:45 stating that he would be on a job the rest of the day, do I want to reschedule for tomorrow, I told them no and decided to go with a different company. I read a review about this exact thing happening and thought it may be an isolated incident, but looks like this is normal for this company.

Beware! I hired them on HomeAdvisor - which they are now removed from. I scheduled an appointment to install a bathroom faucet. They came on the wrong day, therefore we assumed they were the home warranty company plumber we had called for a low pressure issue on a faucet in the kitchen.They walked in, looked at the faucet and walked out. No service fee bill, nothing. No tools taken out, nothing. The warranty company came a few hours later, whom we were expecting, and fixed the screen on the faucet in 2 mins.I received a call that they were calling the city to lower the water pressure to our home and would charge us $1800 to fix the kitchen faucet because they had to re-plumb the house. Also, they had already called the city to ask them to lower our watter pressure - which I never authorized. Of course I said no. We had just had new plumbing installed during a remodel. I told them to stop immediately. Called the main office and tried to get them out to estimate the original request - a new faucet in the bathroom and they never called back. A month later we got a bill for $59 for no work, no service, and a awful conversation with a plubmer that could not even diagnose a small screen getting clogged in a faucet. I called to resolve and no one ever called me back so I thought we were done. No second bill, no letter, no response.3 months later I get a collection lawyer call trying to collect on the service call fee. I called Edwards again - who said they would escalate to the General manager Tom...and the owner (who is overseas), and never did. Then I called AGAIN and talked to a manager who said he would escalate to the owner. I said they would never told us there was a fee to walk into our house and that we hired another plumber who fixed it in 1 minute. The manager even said he was sorry - he said this should have never been escalated that it's an automated process to just push these things through to collections.It gets worse. I tried to talk to the attorney - they had an Unllicensed law school clerk threaten to garnish my wages for $400.In summary, never told us there was a service fee,1. never quoted the bathroom install I requested on HomeAdvisor2. did not show up on the scheduled date - showed up at another time,3. never mentioned a service call fee on HomeAdvisor4. never left us a bill when they came and billed us 30 days later for $595. Quoted us for work that was refused because it was not needed6. Had to have 2 other plumbers repair the work.7. Called the city for service that was not needed to our water pressure.8. Would not resolve the issue of the fraudulent service fee when called 3 times.9. Hired a collection agency and upped it to $89 who is threatening to garnish wages.Do not call!

Very pro technician. Fixed the issue quickly. Was able to get here within 6 hours of problem. A bit pricey for the work required.

Both times, I have been taken back by the professionalism of the technicians as well as their friendly, helpful demeanor. UPDATE: Exactly as expected, the owner has come on and aggressively attacked me for posting my negative experience - exactly what he does with every negative review - see for yourself. He also decided to shamelessly lie, accusing me of being racist and slinging racial insults at his so-called plumber. The fact that it would even pop into his head to take things in that direction makes me wonder what kind of racist thoughts he harbors (by the way, my wife is African American, so it would be an awfully awkward dynamic if I were in fact a racist!).As further proof that my review contained valid negative feedback, see attached invoice from a competitor I had to hire to fix Edwards mess.ORIGINAL POST:I paid these guys $2,700 only to have them send one inexperienced plumber to my house. That plumber incorrectly installed two shower valves (out of three total), and failed to crimp multiple fittings which resulted in countless leaks. Plus there were numerous rough-ins at the wrong height - just not what you expect when paying top dollar for a professional plumber. When I spoke to the plumber about the mistakes, he became aggressive and told me to F off before storming out of my house. This was on day 8 of what was supposed to be a 2-3 day piece of work (guy had no idea what he was doing). The office kept promising they would send another plumber, but they never followed through. I had to hire another plumbing company to come in and clean their mess. Just to show exactly how scummy they are, their office refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing in the end, and when I disputed their charge with my credit card company, they sent a one page letter to the credit card company alleging that I had tried to fight their plumber, and littered with a number of other lies trying to keep my $2,700. Total scumbags - do not let them into your house - I wish I would have heeded the warnings in the other negative reviews.If you need more proof of the type of customer service you'd get from Edwards, just skim through their responses to any negative reviews below - they immediately go on the attack whenever anyone has an issue!

They came three times to fix my AC and charged me each time for the visit but the issue was never properly diagnosed and the problems with the unit persist. Now I have to find a company that CAN solve my AC problem.

They did not properly back-fill an outdoor drain pipe replacement. We have a small mound where they placed the dirt outside of the trench, and a long furrow next to it, with a clean-out exposed. It's a potential trip-hazard in the dark.After several phone calls and promises that a supervisor will get in touch, no one responded for months. Eventually I got in touch with Tony (supervisor), who would tell me By the end of the month.. Didn't do it. By the end of next week. Didn't do it. Monday or Tuesday next week. Didn't do it. Someday this week. I also spoke with a field technician, Connor, who claimed it would be taken care of.At this point I have given up, and I believe they simply lie with no intention of doing the work. I would not trust the business's response about caring about the customer.Additionally, when we had another back-up, they first performed a jetting to clean out roots. The technicians did not bring a USB drive to record the image - I had to provide that. They also didn't bring enough water - I had to hook them up with a hose so they could spend an hour refilling. They also didn't bring the correct nozzle/head. Not professional or competent so far.Then they suggested a ~$4k dig to tear up the basement floor and put down new pipe (that's big money for them). I hired another outfit to get a 2nd opinion - this time one that doesn't do digs, so that there wouldn't be a conflict of interest. The 2nd plumber had much better equipment, was faster and cleaner, provided a video from their scope, and concluded there's absolutely no reason to replace the pipes - just keep them maintained.They are an expensive outfit, so I would expect good customer service (and properly completed job) would be part of the package. Go elsewhere. They don't care about the customer, and have a conflict of interest where your best interests are not in their best financial interests.

Very expensive but they came quickly after hours and got the drains working.

They tried to rip me off!!! I had another plumber come in camera the line that they said was blocked...500 to compared to 5500 and them saying they needed the tear my whole floor up was not the case. I gave them a 2500 deposit in cash, It took me 4 days to get it back in check form so I also had to wait for it to clear the bank. Charged me for the snake they ran that said drains was blocked so I just took the 400.00 hit just to get done with the scamming they was trying to do to me, I also had them do work in the winter that cost me 3500.00 a clean out put in and the other plumber I hired said the pipes already pulling apart at the main connection. if you decide to go with theses guys HIGHLY suggest you ask another master plumber first.

Brandon was an amazing technician that came out right away as my home flooded with sewage water. He working in incredibly cold conditions, on his own, to locate and diagnose the cause of the flood. He got a team of people together to fix all the broken piping and worked closely with my adjustor to assist with homeowners insurance coverage. Violet has helped immensely with the financing portion and I couldn't have asked for better customer service from a company!

Don't ever call this service. They charged me $170 just for coming out. I was told $85 on the phone before they came, then on the phone with the tech while he was at my house I was told the total would be $94... no he meant an extra $94 on top of the $85. Never got a breakdown of the bill, my wife was never shown the total before signing the bill because she heard him explain to me on the phone it was$94. Called back over 5 times to get my $94 refunded only to be jerked around multiple times and excuses made. DON'T CALL THIS SERVICE!!

I’m posting this for my elderly neighbor. EPH replaced her sewer line last fall and tore up her front sidewalk. They were supposed to put in a temporary walk until the spring when they would come back and permanently repair. They did nothing temporary or otherwise. They never called. My neighbor has called several times and been told “next week.” Never followed through and still no sidewalk repair.

I don’t usually leave reviews I would never recommend this company to any one. The initial gentlemen who came out was polite and professional. He did however advise me that I would be first call the very next day and that someone else would be out between 9-10 am. Nobody ever came. They actually told me I would be the next stop as the plumber who was supposed to come out was on an emergency job that came up last minute. Meaning they bumped me off the schedule to take care of another job that was paying more money. After multiple calls with several of the dispatchers, a manager called. He apologized and told me that the plumber is wrapping things up at his job and then taking a lunch and will be to me around 2:30. I told him that wouldn’t work as I have an appointment to attend to. He wiped 10% of the cost out and said they would be there the next morning at 9 am. Next day came 9 am no plumber. Didn’t show up until around 10:45. Then he went under the craw space and got freaked out and drove off pretty fast. Didn’t say a word to me as I was inside. I thought he was going to get some parts. Also he left my craw space open. 20 minutes later the dispatcher calls and says that they can still do the job but that underneath my craw space is hazardous so it would be an extra $500. All In told they tried to charge $1300 for a simple pipe bust. I told the dispatcher no thank you. I called Roto-Rooter and they came and got it done for half the price. The gentleman who came out laughed when I told him how Edwards plumbing reacted and said there is nothing hazardous in your craw space at all. Don’t waste your time with this company. Call Roto-Rooter. They got the job done in less than an hour and at half the cost to.

I had used their services before. Expensive but ok. This time, I explained my dishwasher is leaking directly to the basement but the drain in my kitchen sink is working ok. The dishwasher finishes it’s cycles just fine and ends up dry, but I get a puddle in the basement.They accepted the service request. They failed to show up twice, and the third day, the technician (a nice, polite guy) just came in the kitchen to say: ‘if the kitchen sink drain is working we cannot do anything. You need appliance service. It’s $69.’ So I just paid $69 for waiting and have nothing done. Thanks EPH, I’ll never call you again.

21 vinyl gloves, 10 baby bell wax cheese covers with matching plastic wrappers, and prob misc. other items we flushed down the toilet on a Sunday morning (Labor day weekend, of course). They were out within an hour and were able to get through the dam of wax, plastic and vinyl that our dear son created. If you have something like this happen, call them. Within 90 minutes we were fixed, the guy that fixed it was super nice and professional, and it wasn’t absurdly expensive or anything. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others.

Used their services about 2 weeks ago and they sent an unlicensed apprentice (managers son) to work or or drain. He talked all about how he would be the youngest master plumber once he was done and how he couldn't wait to get to the bar that night. In the mean time, he didn't put my garbage disposal and pipes back on correctly so they began leaking the very next day. My husband had put draino down the sink so he said there was no need to snake it because at that time the water was going down. He told me there was an automatic $59 fee for looking at it which I already knew and stated he would fix a pipe in the basement that leaked while we were testing the water and drains (all he did was use caulk WITH the help of my husband). He needed my husband to help him with the pipe in the basement, holding the flashlight for him, holding the garbage disposal while he tightened it. He stated that he did not have any paper invoices so he would bring me one on Monday but asked that i sign his ipad in the signature strip so that he could charge the $59 +$45 for the pipe but I had a $45 coupon from their website. I called them on Sunday (the very next day) regarding the sink now leaking (which it was not doing prior to them coming) and they could not get anyone out until Monday. Monday evening they sent the same inexperienced worker and of course he seen nothing wrong with his work. I called a supervisor (his dad) and he sent a technician out (I should of had a technician to begin with) on Tuesday, the technician was able to tighten the garbage disposal and pipes which stopped the leak. He then provided us with an invoice from saturday which stated i was charged $240 ($285-$45 coupon) for my drain being snaked. They never snaked the drain. It took four days of me calling and getting the run around for me to finally get the supervisor to return my phone call. He offered to fix my garbage disposal and take the $240 off of those over priced services. Why would I want to work with this company again? And how are you going to force me to spend $240 with you just return the money. My garbage disposal is covered under my DTE home protection policy which is why I didn't call them for that I called them to see if they could help with the clogging while I wait for DTE but they couldn't do anything that draino can't do. The supervisor is very confrontational and unprofessional so please stay away from this company. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau as well for this incident as well as having an unlicensed apprentice working by himself.

We got our a/c fixed by Ken yesterday. He was very professional & fast!

Showed up 3 hours after the time I was told they would be here. Unable to complete the service. Charged me $70 for service fee and did nothing. Left my bathroom disgusting until I called out the repair tech and he half wiped the bathroom down. Never again.

They were very good about letting me know if they were going to be late and also when the plumber would arrive. The young man who did arrive to check out what needed to be done realized the new toilets I wanted had arrived and he said he could install them today instead of tomorrow. I was thrilled and he was so nice and cleaned things up afterwards. He was amazing! I will keep them in my contacts👏

I was desperate to get my AC unit repaired on the hottest day we’ve seen in Michigan this year. My unit is older, and I worried it would need replacing entirely. Instead, my repairman managed to fix it, and managed to give the coils a much needed cleaning. He was very nice and helpful, and the service was fantastic. A great price, and more than worth any expense. I will definitely call on Edwards again!

Unfortunately this was not a good customer experience. I was at first not going to leave a review at all because one of the owners really did their best to make thing right, but this experience was just bad start to finish. Starting with a rude and highly unprofessional technician, to being quoted 1 price and then being told on installation day the pricing was never verified, to now weeks after the work was finished being texted and emailed a notice that I had an open invoice. This was alarming because I paid with a check to the technician on the day the work finished. I called to inquire and was rushed off the phone when I had questions. I won't bad mouth the business to people, but I certainly won't be recommending them to friends and family. Owner I spoke with was amazing though, and the technicians who did the work did an okay job and were clean.
