Yesterday around lunch time, we had our main line shut off valve completely blow and was spewing water everywhere. We were able to get it to stop spewing water, but water to our house was completely off. Not ideal for a family of five with little kids that need to use the potty :). I had exhausted all emergency plumbers on google and was about to just accept that we would be waterless for the day. By chance, I noticed there was one I had not called, Drain Terriers. I threw the hail mary and they came to the rescue! A few of my favorite things: same day service within a few hours, text follow up notifications, courteous, professional, reasonably priced, AND family-owned. Will be my go-to for plumbing needs in the future. The replacement on the main line valve was quality and they were able to replace an outside spigot that had burst in the same trip.

They missed their 4 hour appt window by an hour the first time I had an appt. I rescheduled the next morning, they wouldn't give me a price over the phone. They showed up the second day and quoted me 3 times the amount of other companies for a basic line clean from a cleanout in my back yard (just needed roots cleared once a year). When I scoffed at the price they went to their truck to 'call their boss' and came back with an offer still twice as high. If they can discount a service that much and still be higher than competition they are admitting that they are ripping people off. I called Rooter Town as they left and they were at my house within an hour and cleared the line in 20 minutes for 95 bucks.

I hired Friendly Plumbing to install a utility sink in my laundry room and they did a great job. Charles was very professional and helpful when he came to give a free quote, and came back two additional times to do the job. The 2nd visit was to install the lines which he did while leaving as much of the drywall in tact as he could. After I had repaired the drywall and painted he came back to install the sink which was really quick and I’m really pleased with the end result. Despite a scheduling challenge, Charles was communicative and thorough. The work was done at the quoted price and I’ll certainly be calling Friendly Plumbing for future needs.
