Coltan came out on a call for a bad wax ring on our toilet. He was very generous with his time and knowledge and took a look at several issues that we were concerned about, offering clear and helpful advice for all. He ended up rebuilding and reseating that toilet, which fixed the problem and should prevent future problems for years to come. He also took a look at our overall system, taught us why we needed an expansion tank on our water heater, and was able to get that installed the same day. It's a relief to know our system is in good shape now.The entire time he was courteous and professional. The cost was reasonable and there was never a pitch for any kind of service plan or other add-on that we didn't need. We're impressed with Tipping Hat and will be happy to have Coltan back any time we need help.

Had him repair a spigot that another plumber had messed up and replace another one. They did a great job! I had a pipe that busted, called them and they were there in about 30 minutes. Price was very reasonable and they were friendly. I will definitely use them in the future. They do bathroom remodeling as well, which i also need done soon; and i plan on calling them up for the job.

Brian was detailed and extremely knowledgeable in the problem-solving issue with my swamp cooler. I had two different techs and an electrician come out with no answers. Brian isolated the problem when the others could not. Come to find out it was a ground wire along with a pulley adjustment problem. Brian saved the day and went above and beyond. Thankyou.

I have used JD's plumbing for everything related to water in my home. I have only been a homeowner for about a year and keep finding happy little surprises in need of repair. JD's has been fantastic -- I've had 4-5 team members out here (most recently Scott) for various projects from fixing faucet leaks to HVAC repair and sprinkler winterization. Each team member has been polite, professional, and committed to seeing the job through. Their reception/client management is great to work with and their periodic deals only increase their value. I was referred to JD's by my realtor and am happy to forward the recommendation on!

I would have only given them one star however, part of the issue is Home depot. Trying to deal with two different companies to get a hot water heater replaced who both point the finger at the other company instead of taking any responsibility is very frustrating. I have a hot water heater that was supposed to be replaced under warranty and trying to get this accomplished has taken many hours and wasted a lot of time.
