Best Hvac Repairs in Dallas TX
I have used this company a few times as I have had quite a few A/C and HVAC issues. Now I'm starting to think that these guys were the issue. However, I scheduled an appointment with Dallas Plumbing on 11/16 and a technician came out. He said that the DATS sensor in my HVAC was bad and needed to be replaced. He told me that the cost of replacement would be $383.00, which I paid. My appointment for replacement was to be 11/17 first thing in the morning. No one came.I called in the afternoon, figuring they got busy. Their answering service said that someone would call me back--they didn't. I called again and again over the next few days while my wife suffered the frigid temperature in my house. Every time, the answering service would tell me that they made a note and that a supervisor would call me back promptly--they didn't. One answering service agent said she'd call me back personally--she didn't. Although they acknowledged that there was supposed to be an appointment on 11/17, no one could provide any answers as to why no one showed up or provide any idea of when (if ever) they would come. Even to get a refund for the sensor I've never seen and will never receive, the call service could only tell me that a supervisor will call me shortly. I'm not holding my breath. In short... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Mr. Matt Barbosa impressed me from the moment he called me back for my emergency call to the moment he effectively completed the job. The best part was that he found other issues with my system and gave me affordable options to bring my system up to a good state of repair. I contacted Barbosa Plumbing and Air Conditioning because I knew they were local, and I appreciated how they were on-site at the 2017 Carrollton 5K as a sponsor of that great event. I was very glad I gave them a chance when my A/C condensation line got backed up and started leaking water into my garage because Mr. Matt Barbosa also found an electrical short on my condenser unit that posed a safety issue. I have a small child at my residence, so he fixed this for us at a very appropriate and affordable additional cost potentially saving me or my family from getting a shock or even preventing a fire! He showed me the condition the wire was in, and he explained the proposed repair. He also took the time to check the other components on my condenser and noted that my capacitor was getting close to be out of variance. He advised it could probably make it through the summer. He didn't push the repair, but because of his approach, I opted to go ahead and have him change this out while he was at it. To summarize, Mr. Matt Barbosa took a lot of time with me to explain what he was doing and why. I could tell he has the heart of a teacher and a servant's approach as he wasn't trying to push a whole bunch of unnecessary repairs on me or anything. Bottom-line, this is the type of service tech you hope you get when you randomly pick someone from the area. Needless to say, for any and all of my plumbing and A/C needs, they have got a customer for life!

We were in the market for a new HVAC system and called ARS for a quote. Edwin came out on Saturday and unfortunately it was by far the worst customer service we received. We were upfront and told him we had others come out and quote us prior, which prompted him to ask us if he could see the other quotes and if they were lower than his quote they must not be installing it correctly or pulling the proper permits. We told him we would not be making a decision that day but he continued to push us. Multiple times I had to tell him I was not making the decision to which he kept trying to lower the price and make a deal.He asked us to sign the quote document and endorse the quote and if we changed our minds we had 3 days to cancel. Never having let us read the fine print to which it does not actually let us cancel. Luckily we did not sign it.He stated that if we singed the contract he would be out here Monday to install because he can push his other clients to Tuesday. If that's how you treat other clients that's not the service I want in the future. The service was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Commission or not, you do not pressure people into making and signing a deal on the spot, especially with a large purchase.(He even had the audacity to say that they never get one star ratings.... So to that I say, here's your one star.)

One of the most responsive, customer friendly companies I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I had them do an AC repair one time and they timely arrived and they gave me the contract rate for service despite me not having a contract. Then they called me to do a free water heater maintenance. I was perplexed when they came, descaled my water heater and left without charging me. Later they did the same thing for my AC, without charging me. No catch. No fake repairs found to be needed. Seriously, who does this? During my next AC repair, there was a dispute with my AC manufacturer over whether a part was under contract. Frymire covered the cost of the part and said they would handle the dispute instead of me worrying about it. I have since signed a contract and they have always been at the call 24 hours a day. My father recently had a contract with Airtron and couldn't get them to respond after hours. Frymire came over at 10pm within an hour of calling. They couldn't get the part after hours and installed a temporary portable AC free of charge to hold him over until they could obtain the part. He since moved his contract over to Frymire. I'm simply amazed at the customer service of this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BAIT AND SWITCH LYING COMPANY! On August 20 their technician arrived to fix a leak in my drain pan which had caused water spots on my ceiling. He told me that the drain lines needed cleaning and I needed a new drain pan. I showed him my guarantee and he said it did not cover the repair. But the form said they were supposed to call me to schedule an ac check. They never called me but when I called they disputed this with me. In the meantime their technician said the leak was fixed and that if I wanted a new drain pan it would be $325. The next morning I awoke to a hallway full of water. It had obviously not been fixed. I called them up and Steve Wilson himself said that the same drain pan would now be $475 because I had cussed out his employee. That is a complete lie. I merely complained that his man had not fixed the leak. This is classic bait and switch by Wilson Air conditioning.
