Best Running Water in Columbus OH

We have used The Service People for a couple years now and they have always far exceeded our expectations. They were willing to do things, (crawl around our tight crawl space), that other companies wouldn't do and have always been honest with us. We will continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs and refer them to family and friends!

We tried to use Accurate Plumbing to repair or replace our tankless water heater, and I would never recommend them. We did not have enough hot water to shower for more than a month while working with them and we spent nearly $700 for them to try different repairs that did not work. I had to call multiple times to get status updates, they came to our home four different times, and we still couldn’t get hot water. I ultimately decided to go with a different company that was able to replace our tankless water heater same-day.

With parts, taxes, and the heater it came to $1141.00, and plumbers to help pick it up a city away and then carry it into our home for installation, they carried out the old heater after disconnecting it, then it took another quick trip to the store to pick-up more parts to reroute the pipes for the new heater, and then about an hour to install. It was an unusual job and an unusually large water heater. We had to go with a commercial size electric water heater to match our old one. The total time they spent from the moment he decided to go pick-up the heater to the point where the heater was cleaned up and installed was 4 hrs on a holiday. Labor for the emergency ran us up an additional $1720.00, but I believe it was a kindness given the emergency of the situation and our special needs household. BCI Mechanical was super easy to work with, flexible around my schedule and needs, and they did the work smarter and cheaper than other big name contractors that I had give me a quote on the work. They fixed a larger drain issue under my kitchen sink that had arisen recently.

There was a scheduling error (that worked out in my favor), but other than that, these guys were flawless to work with, and my tech Tony was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and was overly concerned with making sure the work was done right and how I expected it to be done. I'm glad to finally have a dependable, affordable solution here in Columbus that I can depend on, and I'll definitely be calling them back for more work.

Tony was fantastic! Same day service on my sump pump, and very reasonable. The communication via e-mail, phone and text was the best I have ever experienced with any contractor. Top notch.
