Best Maintenance Work in Columbus OH

Buyer BEWARE. These guys are bad news. Got their jetter stuck in the sewer main out on city of Columbus property. It happens I get it and I offered to pay to have it dug up. The owner continued to delay delay delay. Had to hire another company come dig up the majority of it while the owner of a sterling comitted to removing the rest of it. Over a year later now, part of its still in the city main ready to disrupt plumbing flow for an entire cit block. Unprofessional….recommend extreme caution with these guys!

Ben Franklin was a little steep on comparison to other estimates I got for installation of our water heater. But, they were the fastest to respond and did so in a professional manner.

I thought our water heater was leaking, and the owner of the company called me and a technician was out within an hour. Turns out it was condensation from our furnace. The technician cut new piping and kindly created a way for the condensation to get out of the home instead of pooling in the basement.

This was not his responsibility yet, he helped and insisted I not pay him.

I would recommend this business.

Professional, honest, knowledgeable

Scott and I are from the same small-town area and both teach at the same college here in Columbus so I thought I could trust him to install new plumbing and a shower pan in a bathroom addition. Scott assured me when I asked that he would put the required cement under the shower pan when installing to stabilize it. He would schedule a date and time over and over, as he strung this work out for months, then not show and not call--again and again. I had to contact him each time after an hour or two went by with no show and he would respond hours later. Since he'd already started the work, I kept working with him. Once the shower pan was installed, he told me in no uncertain terms that he put in the required cement underlay, pointing out that he had to mix the cement even though he had a bad back and that he's been doing this for 30 years so he knows what he's doing. Later, I had to remove new shower tiles and the shower pan to find it had NO CEMENT under it, which is why it was creaking. During the plumbing install, I also awoke to a flooded bathroom the next morning and he had to come and repair his install. He asked me to pay him half part way through, and I did, even though it was taking months as he would be a no-show or come for an hour or two then leave. I checked for reviews online and could find no website and not a single review anywhere--until now, 1.5 years later. The only reviews I see now are from the past few weeks, so BUYER BEWARE. You cannot trust Scott. And I assume this review will get scrubbed like any past reviews about his astoundingly poor service and ability to lie and think nothing of it.

We are remodeling and down to one shower and had a issue with that one. I left a message Sunday night and they were out here by 1:30 the next day. They ended up having to run and get a part but instead of putting a basic part on he did a job that was much better than when he started. Thank You

They did an excellent job of replacing my old cast iron drain lines. Very polite and professional. I recommend flush drains to all my friends and family.

This company is honest, thorough and SOOOOO kind!! The price was beyond fair and I can't thank them enough for their assistance and generosity!! They touched my heart! ❤️

Shoe was awesome, very professional and responsive which was a breath of fresh air. We just bought a house that needs a lot of work done, and Shoe and the Rooter Works was by far the most responsive and helpful.I had 2 old water heaters and he was able to tie the lines together and replace both with a tankless water heater and get rid of the old ones. We also wanted the laundry on the first floor clear across the house from where it was in the basement, and he ran lines for that without them being in the way of anything else I wanted to do in the basement. He also went above and beyond and found someone to get me a quote for the electrical work for the dryer.Best experience I've had with anyone since buying the house.

My heater and thermostat were not working as I had been away. Brian came over and checked out the heater, replaced the parts while explaining it to me. He also checked to see that the AC was working. He did a great job
