Called for emergency service on a Sunday evening and they were there in about 45 minutes! Super friendly, explained things very well, let me view what was happening and kept me well up to date through the process. Price was extremely fair and the technician was top notch! They came highly recommended and I would pass forward that recommendation! 5 star service on a cold Sunday night! Thank you!

The Buckeye Heating and Cooling team that cleaned our duct work was very professional and thorough. They were careful around the house, communicated clearly about what needed to be done, and flexible about a couple of vents that were harder to access. They were also very nice to our toddler, who had a lot of questions!We really appreciate the hard work and great cleaning job!

My technician, Harold was very professional and knowledgeable. He really knew what he was doing. My AC unit broke down and I had to call so many companies to schedule same day appointment.Eventually, Buckeye Heating and Cooling was very fast on responding my needs. The tech came on time, checked all the parts and gave me the best convenient option to fix the AC. I absolutely highly recommend the company and specially Harold.

When my furnace was unable to be repaired, Buckeye Heating and Cooling were able to have someone come out the next morning to give me a quote. Pete came and talked through my options, then gave me several very competitive quotes for various levels of a new system. Once I decided to go with them, they were able to install the new system within 48 hours, and Pete was in contact with me updating on the plans the entire time. Dominic, Joe, and Scott came to install the new furnace and A/C unit, and were prompt, extremely professional, and efficient. Upgrading from an original 1970s unit wasn’t a simple process, but they did an excellent job installing everything. Understandably, the process took all day, but they were very friendly willing to explain everything. Once the install was complete, they took the time to walk me through the new unit, as well and the new smart thermostat. As part of the promotion, I also get a free duct cleaning. Very impressed with Buckeye Heating and Cooling from start to finish. I will definitely continue to use them for all my maintenance needs moving forward.

Brent was able to fit us in earlier than expected which was nice. He diagnosed our problem with our AC and got straight to work. We have used Buckeye Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing earlier this year for our water heater and were very impressed with the level of service we got then as well. Will return if needed in the future.

I booked an appointment between 2-4 pm for an estimate. I received a call at 1 pm that they were available early and could be there in 25-30 minutes. 90 minutes later, no one showed up and I had to call in. I was told that someone would be there in 30 minutes. 60 minutes after that, I called in again and was told someone would be dispatched right away. It is nearly 4 pm and I just received a text that a tech is on there way but they are 32 minutes away. I had no issue waiting between 2-4, but when expectations change when someone calls and says they can be there early, follow through. I shouldn't have to play phone tag to make sure someone shows up.Follow up to Company response: I contacted the phone number but nothing came of it. I decided not to use them to install my water heater or furnace and am using another company.

Same day service. The tech arrived shortly after the issue was reported. He was very thorough and professional. The rate was great. He was quick and did a great job. He even took the time to answer ALL of my questions.

On arrival we went over the equipment location and register locations. They brought in their equipment and got to work. I could hear the dirt going through the vacuum tubing. They were careful moving around our house and when finished, they spent time going over what was done. I will recommend Buckeye to family and friends. It’s good to see a company that cares about the work they do and were not here to push other add on services.

Overall, install team did good service. They stayed until job was done which was 14hrs. I did have to be the one to approach to get updates. They did the best they could on clean up after completion. A drain grate was thrown away which I wish they would have given me a choice to keep and fix it back. Now I have go replace it. Supposedly, they are going to try to replace with plumbing team but I have not heard anything.

Mike and the other Buckeye employee were very polite and professional. They patiently answered all my questions as related to whether I was better off repairing my current system or consider replacing it. I appreciated their advice.

Technician came without proper tools and training. He had to send other technician next day.Next day the tech asked for $98 while the first tech promised for no extra charge.My unit is working just fine, I called for tuneup.Other tech suggested that a free on leak and could be other problem.This could cost me $4000Seems this is not right. I had tuneup done.I called Buckeye due to a big name. But I made a mistake.Please stand by your name. I cannot refer to friends and neighbours.

Our furnace was installed by and is regularly serviced by Buckeye Heating and Cooling. The staff is always professional, arrives on time and explain the work being done. Highly recommend.

Brian was very knowledgeable and went over and above to get the filter we needed and installed. Super fast response time to come out the same day I called to repair the insulation on the outside AC coil

Brian was very thorough and went above and beyond, cleaning our outside ac unit. He was knowledgeable about the services offered by Buckeye and was very soothing to our dogs. They liked him!

We had Buckeye Heating & Cooling install a high efficiency Lennox furnace and A/C in August, 2015 and had yearly maintenances performed. Last week our A/C went out and on May 19, 2023 Jeremy, a Service Technician from Buckeye Heating & Cooling, came to fix the problem. Jeremy first advised that we had a broken wire that needed replaced at a cost of $250.00. After a while Jeremy then advised that it was not the wire, that he was puzzled, he had NO CLUE as to what the problem is, and he has been a Service Technician for a long time and has never had this type of an issue. Jeremy proceeded to work on the problem and then advised that we needed an A or C Coil replacement ($1,263.00, PLUS THE COST for a liquid line drier, task H146, refrigerant, and air handler coils), also needed a recover and evacuate system ($1,263.00, PLUS THE COST for refrigerant cost), AND a charge for system specs ($1,183.00), AND a electronic leak search at a cost of $394.00. Jeremy advised that the A/C is still under warranty, but the above figures ($3,709.00 plus $394.00 PLUS THE COSTS FOR THE LIQUID LINE DRIER, TASK H 146, REFRIGERANT AND AIR HANDLER COILS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. We paid the service fee of $98.00 and sent Jeremy on his way. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I AM NOT HAPPY. I called Lennox on May 22, 2023 and spoke to Tameka. Tameka advised that the majority of the above items are still under warranty until 2025 (anything inside the system is covered - refrigerant is not covered). The cost for this repair (which is still under warranty) is absurd and almost costs more than a new A/C.

I was without heat for 3 days while other companies told me they couldn’t find the broken part anywhere in town or just never called or came back! 2 companies told me I needed to replace the furnace. Buckeye came out 1 hr after I called on the 3rd day, had the furnace running in 30 min. with a “bypass” while the guys went to pick up the part that no one else in town was able to find! 2 hours later my furnace was fixed for 1/3 the price others had quoted! Thank you, Thank you!

Buckeye came out for a scheduled PM. They discovered a leak and did not have the part to fix it. The tech left with the promise that he would return. That was Friday. It is now Weds. I have called 3 times to request an update (ie when are they coming back). None of my calls have been returned.Calls to Buckeye Heating go thru an answering service, so they will not let you talk to anyone. You have no recourse but to wait for a callback that never comes.This is not personally connected, Highly ethical, nor solution focused as they claim on their website. It is simply very poor customer handling. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for a company to return a phone call when requested.

My heater and thermostat were not working as I had been away. Brian came over and checked out the heater, replaced the parts while explaining it to me. He also checked to see that the AC was working. He did a great job

I called on a Thursday and they had an opening the following day. They called me when they were 25 mins away. Very thorough, took pictures and explained their findings. Would definitely use them again!

Believe it or not, I called this company because I was behind one of their vans and whoever was driving was using their signal, paying full attention and generally being a decent driver. Rare. We got a quote from Pete Kott who was super professional yet very personable. I need other quotes but have a feeling we will end up using these guys. I'll keep this updated!

I needed annual maintenance on my A/C for summer. What I got was a fantastic tech named Brian Pentz , who did in-depth maintenance on my A/C and furnace system. I think he crawled through every inch of those systems. He cleaned where needed and fixed other stuff and overall, just got those systems in better shape than they have ever been. He is an HVAC marvel! He also showed me what a great guy he was when he helped me search for my two little dogs who had darted out the open garage door and run away. He was so kind and felt so bad for me that he spent 30-45 mins helping me to search for them all over the neighborhood. The dogs were later found (thank goodness), but I will never forget his compassion and “above and beyond” service. You have a customer for life, Buckeye, and I have a fabulous tech for life named Brian! Thank you so very much!!!

Christina & Patrick (I am terrible with names, but I am 99.9% sure those are it!) were absolutely amazing ? They explained what the process was & got to work making it happen. They interacted with my very talkative children, which I really loved! I would have this team out to my home again in a heartbeat!

Technician was friendly but seemed to have limited experience. I asked several questions that he could not answer. He discovered some low-voltage cables that had deteriorated from the sun that needed replaced. I thought my maintenance contract covered such repairs but he changed $179 (their BASIC wiring fee) to replace about 6 feet of wire. I think that is pretty expensive for what was involved. He then suggested that a lubricant be add to the cooling loop for an additional cost of $315. I decided not to authorize that work today.

My technician was great. Very friendly and very thorough. My A/C system has never been so clean.

I bought a complete new HVAC system from this company in early April, 2023. The furnace failed three days later. Buckeye had improperly wired the circuit board, which burned out the circuit board, the solenoid, the thermostat, the wires from the thermostat upstairs to the system downstairs, and the wires from the main electrical service to the system. They could not get the circuit board part until three days later, so we spent that time without heat. After the repairs, we found multiple old electrical parts scattered over the basement floor. Our deal included whole house duct cleaning. Buckeye rescheduled the duct cleaning several times to fit their schedule, not ours, and tried to reschedule it several more times. It was ultimately completed three weeks after the original system installation. The duct cleaning crew had trouble distinguishing between the supply vents and the return vents. After they were done, we found that they had left three out of seven bolts and the sealing tape off the panel over the a/c coil compartment, with hot air blowing out of the compartment into the basement. We found several sheet metal screws in various parts of the basement, but never found the original bolts. Their supervisor came back to fix the problem, and only found two of the three original bolts. After a long weekend away in the end of April/beginning of May, 2023, we came home to discover that the furnace had failed again. This time, the problem was a loose connection on the newly replaced circuit board. We spent another night without heat, before Buckeye fixed it the next day. I have had Lennox HVAC equipment in my house for decades, but I've never anywhere near the problems with any of it that I've had with the system installed by Buckeye Heating & Cooling. All of the problems were caused by faulty installation and repairs, not by the equipment itself. So, this may not be the best Lennox dealer to do business with, in my opinion.

Stay away. This company installed a new furnace and thermostat in December. In March, I noticed that the thermostat temperature is running higher than the room temperature so the heat won’t kick on. I called to report the problem and they said I had to pay the service fee for them to come out and look at it.They also failed the city inspection on the new install because they used existing venting for a tankless water heater to support the outside venting they installed for the furnace.

The technician Cody was very courteous. He was honest about the cost of repair to my older furnace’s fan and offered info and options without trying to influence. Ultimately I decided to get a new unit and he set up the appointment with the consultant right away.

Fast, knowledgeable, and professional. They also saved us around $1000 Someone else was going to charge us by simply checking to see if a part was under warrenty.

After waking up with no heat (and snow on the ground), we called Buckeye in a panic. Luckily Angela came out quickly, assessed the issue and replaced our broken thermostat. She taught us how to use the new one and also serviced our system. She is extremely professional and efficient! Thank you!

We had a maintenance agreement with Buckeye Heating and Cooling for over 10 years while living in Powell, Ohio. After moving to Grove City, Ohio, we knew we wanted the same Service Contract again. Once again we are receiving top rated service. Signed a new contract and now we have piece of mind we will be taken care once again. Technician Max gave us a rating of 10 service. He was so nice. Had a tech out due to pilot light not staying lit. Nothing else wrong with it. Upon arrival Tech stated he'd bring a quote for replacement, yet that wasn't what was needed. Tech went down to address and came up saying it was leaking. It was not leaking prior to this. He cleaned up the water, lit the pilot light and gave quotes for replacement. Never gave any reason as to why the light wouldn't stay lit or why there was a leak. Gave quotes and left. I have continued to call, and the people answering phones have been as helpful as they can be with sending emails to management and client compliance, yet I've had no call back from anyone. I now have a leaking water heater and pilot light is back out, not turning on. Saw pictures from the tech and you can see it's fresh water filling up in there from his visit. Terrible experience so far and what may have been an easy/inexpensive fix, is now a replacement. No clue why.UPDATE: received a call from Tina from client compliance several days after initial visit, and she was incredible helpful and responsive. She maintained contact through the rest of the process and emailed all concerns were addressed. Ended up needing several more visits to figure out the problem, Austin and Dan the manager were awesome. Actually explained what they were doing and what was going on. Initial bad experience has been completely rectified.

Cody was amazing. He let me know possible issues and what he was doing along the way while trouble shooting before just replacing parts. He was able to find a blockage in the exhaust and showed me different payment options and service plans. Extremely satisfied with the service!

Called Buckeye Heating and Cooling after my AC stopped working. They determined I needed a new unit, and since mine was from 1998 we expected that news. It took a week before a salesperson could come out and discuss our options for a new unit. We had to then pick a new unit before we could schedule an install appointment, which we did within 15 minutes following the end of our appointment, but the salesperson didn’t respond to our selection for two days to book our installation. We had been told that we would receive a call same day as making our selection. We reached out twice on our own to contact our salesperson as well, with no luck. By the time we were able to schedule an install appointment, the soonest was two weeks out. When it finally came, the techs were in our home only about 15 minutes before realizing that the new coil for the unit we were sold would not fit, and we either needed to pick a different unit or replace our furnace which was 8 years old and in perfect working order. So then the sales guy came back out, took a bunch of measurements and told us the only possible way to replace the AC was to also replace the furnace (which he somehow didn’t identify the first time when he took a bunch of measurements), which was also a completely different story than what the techs had told us. When I asked about some of the options the techs had presented, the salesperson stopped responding to me, and we got a letter in the mail a week later that he was requiring the city of Columbus to inspect our hvac system before proceeding. I called another company at that point, they were able to accurately identify which AC unit was appropriate for our house, and installed on the first try without issue and had no concern whatsoever about the needs for an inspection. Really seemed like we weren’t worth the effort once we decided not to replace the furnace, and were mislead about it being necessary, as evidenced by another reputable company completing the work quickly and easily. Maybe if you have a standard suburban house then buckeye heating and cooling would do an adequate job, but if you live in an older home, I would absolutely not recommend them.

We had a leaky pump attached to the furnace. The technician found the problem and fixed it and was in an out in about an hour. There was no charge as we had a warranty that covered the work. He was very nice and had a great job, as did the person who booked the appointment for us. 5 stars.

My technician arrived punctual, and the maintenance check of the furnace was completed; however, I asked about the inspection of a humidifier filter, and he seemed very irritated and annoyed that he had to go back to the furnace. He then, with his nonverbal communication, explained how to replace the filter in a passive-aggressive manner I didn't appreciate his attitude: I e. Inflection, tone of voice, and rolling of the eyes.

The problem with the furnace was fixed. HURRAH! But our thermostat still resets to 62 during the night. Please advise. Also our last name is spelled Roush. Thank you!

Came home from out of town with a dead thermostat. Called Buckeye on a Sunday night, and they made it out in a couple of hours, on Sunday! Changed the thermostat and saved the night. The tech Harold was wonderful as well. Puts on shoe cover every time he comes in the house, and solved the issue very quickly. Would call them again in the future with HVAC issues for sure.

This was my first experience with Buckeye, they are exceptional. First a live person answered my initial call and I had an appointment for the next day. They gave me a 2 hour window and called to ask if the could come earlier!The Tech(Cody) was friendly andknowledgable. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the problem after he discussed the needed repair. He had the part with him. The staff had emailed a picture of the Tech before he arrived so I knew what he looked like.(nice idea).can’t say enough nice things about this company. I recommend them.

Cristina Found a sparking inducer which is deemed a fire hazard and could’ve cause serious damage to the house furnace is now shut down. Unfortunately part replacement is impossible as there are hundreds on backorder so a new furnace is the only solution.

UPDATED Jan 2023Last year I gave them a glowing review because they got my furnace working. This year they sent out a Replaceman, who left me without heat and condemned my furnace because it was near the best buy date, a few days before the recent cold snap. I thought they were better than AB but they are just the same, fear mongerers.I called my reliable Repairman who actually ignited the furnace and showed with his instrumentation that the burner was producing minimal monoxide (all flames produces some carbon monoxide) and said there was no sign of a crack. Educate yourself, typical indoor CO levels 0.5 - 5 ppm. Your gas stove produces between 5-15 ppm. Heavy smoker - 75 ppm. CO detectors go off at around 70 ppm (First Alert website), place one on each floor of your house.Trust is lost in buckets and earned in drops. Buckeye is now on my do NOT call list.Nov 2022I had Buckeye out the day after company AB left my tenants high and dry without heat. I was out of town so I had to schedule and arrange the repair over the phone.Larry fixed the problem and the heat has been working for the last week. He also let me know that if the problem continued, the circuit board would need to be replaced and the office could get me a quote. Unlike the other company, he did not try to sell me a new furnace!Since the furnace is nearing the end of its life and since Larry was honest and ethical, I will be calling Buckeye when I decide to replace the furnace.

I called this morning around 9am bc our AC wasn’t cooling. Tyler answered and was professional. We received an email regarding the call and when a tech would be out. About and hour later, we got a phone call and text from Harold stating that he was on his way. The text had a picture of him, which is nice to know who is coming to the house. He arrived within 30 minutes and was professional. He checked out the AC unit and saw what was wrong. He showed us the part and explained the damage. Harold showed us options for the different payment costs and explained the maintenance membership. He was friendly and we didn’t feel pressured to choose a membership. We actually did chose one bc it was a good deal! We would highly recommend this company. Thank you, Buckeye Heating and Cooling.

Buckeye Heating & Cooling provided a free second opinion after an original technician came out and misdiagnosed the problem we were having with our central AC. The Technician from Buckeye (Dustin) spent more time looking over the system and correctly identified the issue which was missed by the original company we called. This alone saved me $250 by avoiding a leak check which would have not yielded anything as the issue in our central AC was a faulty part. They provided a few different options with transparent pricing to correct the issue and were easy to get ahold of / communicate with. I also liked that they confirmed the appointment and sent details of the technician who would be arriving in advance of the meeting taking place, great system! I highly recommend Buckeye Heating and Cooling, we will be sticking with them going forward.

The technician made phone calls using speaker phone while working in my basement and outside at AC unit. My husband and I work from home and this was very distracting. He also left something small, gray on the floor in front of the furnace.

The new system they installed short circuited within two weeks because it wasn’t installed properly. They installed a new system a week later. We also had a humidifier installed within the system. However it wasn't wired properly thus not working, they had to come back out to remedy the problem. This summer the system hasn't been able to cool my house anytime it reaches close to 90 degrees. It's currently at 80° on the first floor and second floor is at 86°. Even with the thermostat set to 73°. They have been out once and stated the coils were dirty, after cleaning them off the problem still exists. After spending thousands of dollars on a new system I would expect it to be installed properly and to not have these issues not even a year after install.Update: It is now 84° on the first floor and 88° on the second floor. I am 8 months pregnant and even how many issues we have had with their service, was told the earliest they could come out is Friday. Remind you, this is after Buckeye attempted to diagnose and fix the problem this past Sunday but to no avail and didn’t seem to find anything wrong. Poor customer service and terrible quality products

Buckeye Heating and Cooling installed a new HVAC system in my home last July. Took weeks for the system to arrive, even though they stated the system was available when I signed the paperwork. They came out for same day service and Brent assessed the situation and provided a quote for repair. The part needed to be ordered and came in next day in which they scheduled the follow up. At the follow up he let us know that he thought about what else could be wrong and was able to fix it without replacing the part therefore making the bill significantly cheaper. I appreciate his knowledge and transparency to make this stressful situation better for us as this happened the day after Christmas. Definitely would recommend them and would use them again!

The Buckeye team was great. Very friendly, explained everything until I understood what was going on and worked with me to get a solution to get my heating restored in basically 6 hours from phone call to repair! Will work with them in future (though hopefully it’ll be awhile till I need them again)

This company provides a top-notch maintenance program for my AC and heating units annually! Setting up the appointments is easy, and I receive proactive reminders of the visit. And shortly before the visit, they provide me a heads up on when the team is on the way and whose coming! The guys are very professional, courteous, and are very transparent through the entire process. I just had Terry and a new technician come out to check my heating unit - very pleasant experience! 10/10 will recommend to others in the central ohio area!

I bought my house about four and half years ago and it seems all of a sudden everything is breaking down or needing replacement at the same time. Why is this??? Anyhow, when my A/C seemed to not be working those few days it was really warm (before it turned cold again . . . ah, Columbus), I reached out to a couple of HVAC businesses in the area. Buckeye Heating & Cooling was able to provide me with just what I needed — a Lennox A/C to integrate with my Lennox furnace which was still under warranty. They recommended exactly what I needed based on my home size and patio (less noise).And the guys who installed the A/C were fantastic!!! I have to admit one thing that sold me on this company were the reviews on Google that mentioned the technicians' interactions with dogs. My dog LOVES people and since COVID, she has had very little interaction with people — other than me. Only dog lovers will understand this ?, but not having to block your dog off in another room is a huge plus.I just had the A/C installed today so I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but I'm impressed with the size and obvious quality of the unit. I definitely feel I got value for my money . . . and as an added bonus, a worn out dog.

I have used Buckeye Heating and Air, for over 20 years. I guess it is like insurance, you don’t know how good or bad it is until you have a problem and need it! Well, I had a problem for the first time. They left me high and dry. I asked to speak with the owner a couple of times. He never returned my call. To the point, a really upsetting and horrible experience! I will not use them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone I know! If you were to listen to the promises made while you are on the phone, on hold, don’t believe a single word!

Jacob did a great job and provided excellent customer service 5-5 stars for Jacob.This review is targeted at Buckeye as a company. Here is the story. We used Buckeye to install our brand new Lennox HVAC system via a Costco partnership. The system was installed well and has worked generally great over the last 4 years. We signed up for their annual maintenance service, which is a prepaid program that they were to visit 2 times a year to do a check up. Those check ups pretty standard and are more preventative maintenance and the first couple years no real issue.But why 2 out of 5 stars???Here is why I gave Buckeye a 2 stars. Lennox A/C system has a design flaw that results in condensation filling up the float switch that exists to stop the system if it starts flooding. To “fix” it, they decided to remove the float switch. Granted it’s redundant, but this is still a “chewing gum and duct tape” like solution. Not super thrilled about it, but it works. Next, I noticed the humidifier never seemed to be working this last winter. The humidifier that Buckeye installed. Call them up, tech effectively confirmed it was never working, he the fixed how it was wired and it works, but I had to pay for the service call and pay for a new humidifier filter even though the original was still brand new per the techs own words. Final issue, had my summer “tune up” which I had paid for as part of the annual maintenance program that is $200+ a year… well some how my “a/c tune up” was already used but not my furnace/winter tune up and there was nothing they could do to apply my unused visit to cover the tune up today. In other words, I paid $200 for 1 crummy preventative maintenance tune up visit and had to pay another $129 for todays as I am definitely done with Buckeye after this nonsense.Do I recommend Buckeye?No. Only exception is if you are buying a brand new A/C & Furnace system and they are still working with Costco for the promo. But get multiple quotes and then pick what’s best for you. Otherwise, I do not recommend Buckeye for your heating/cooling needs.

The repair was scheduled in a timely fashion. Brian did a great job and went above and beyond the call of duty.

I had service preformed by Dustin and he was great. Him and his helper were on time and very friendly. My issue was somewhat minor and he diagnosed it almost immediately l. Got the problem fixed and stuck around to make sure it all worked through several cycles of the furnace while we discussed video games and furnaces. He did his due diligence and checked some other small thing. Overall a very good experience. This was my 1st time using Buckeye but i would use them again. Hope this review helps.

Very professional technician provided top notch maintenance on both heating and cooling systems. I had a very good experience with the purchase and installation of the HVAC system from Buckeye Heating and Cooling and they have continued their excellence with their maintenance inspection.

1- The technician didn't change the filter though I replaced it on 5/7/2022 ( 90 days) and he told me that every thing is ok?2- He went out side to check the AC unit, and left to his car to prepare the report. When he came back I asked him why he didn't open the unit to check and clean? His answer was I was not sure if I can use the hoose, I told him they you did not ask, you were leaving. He said I will do now?3- The guy was not a buckeye employee, he did a bad job. I do not like this to happen again. I was very disappointed.

We called Buckeye Heating and Cooling because we noticed that our furnace was putting out too much heat. The thermostat was set at 68 degrees but the temperature in that part of the house was 85 degrees. They sent Terry the same day. He ran all the diagnostic tests and cleaned the filter (it isn’t disposable and wasn’t that dirty). He could not locate any problems and we will keep an eye on things. We appreciate Terry’s honestly and professionalism. He has been to our home before. We would recommend without hesitation.

Our 22 year old furnace blower motor stopped working and we called Buckeye Heating and Cooling. The technician Patrick was knowledgeable and efficient. He presented options to repair or replace and given the age and previous problems we elected to replace the furnace. The next day we went through options available with Jerry who was very thorough and professional. We were lucky enough to be able to pick out a new furnace and have it installed next day! I received a text with the information on who was arriving and when. The installers were very professional and courteous. Scott and Brian came in, covered the floor, took the old furnace out and installed the new one quickly! They showed me what they had done and cleaned up. It was a seamless and wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend them and plan on continuing with their service/check up plans!

We have used Buckeye Heating and cooking for years. They are prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Our equipment runs efficiently with no problems in all conditions. It’s nice never having to worry about our heating and cooling systems. They just work. The tech we saw today was Terry. He performed routine maintenance and topped off our refrigerant in the AC unit. Checked for leaks, and cleaned the system. We can trust Terry and Buckeye to be honest and not try to sell us things we don’t need.

We had a great experience with Buckeye. Our air conditioner & furnace both needed replaced, and Buckeye was one of the companies that we received for an estimate from. We replaced our heating and cooling about 15 years ago (with another large local company) only to find out from everyone we got an estimate from that it was the wrong size for our home and we probably paid a lot more than we needed to. Buckeye was prompt, professional and priced right for the quality system we purchased. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

When my furnace went out, Jimmy came out the same day and got it fixed. He talked me through what the problem was and provided some advice on preventative maintenance to avoid reocurrance of the issue. He also noticed that my two-stage furnace was only setup to use one stage and fixed that as well, in addition to opening some ducts that I didn't realize were closed off, fixing problems I didn't even know I had.The price was reasonable for the service. He didn't try to upsell me or anything. He was very professional and seemed honest and upright.

Technicians are polite and know their stuff. Problem is with distaching. I was told three times today they had the part and I was on schedule between 2 and 4. Finally at 8 pm tech calls and says I wasn't put on schedule and there is no part. No heat for three nights when temp is 1° what is irritating is missing work all day waiting for a tech who didn't even have me on list.

Horrid customer service and service overall! Called because I had no heat and was told a technician would come access the problem. Technician had no interest on helping me solve the problem and stated I needed a part and would come back the following day to help. He didn’t know when the part would be in nor did the poor horrible customer service reps. My home is beyond freezing and all the help I kept hearing from there were “we don’t know when the part would be in but we would call you when it’s in”. Hmmm well let me just freeze in my own home while you guys do nothing about it and not be proactive. Technicians at this poor company are paid off commission SO BE AWARE! They will tell you that you need something when in fact you don’t just so they can line their pockets with cash. Please make sure you get a second opinion on their work because chances are they’re wrong and just want your money. Technician a few years ago said we needed a $2k part but indeed we didn’t and we knew it. He lied to our faces and our air conditioning was working just fine. Stay away from these greedy money grabbers

Our ancient heating and cooling system was due for replacement and I obtained three estimates from reputable contractors in Columbus all based on similar equipment. Buckeye promptly provided the low cost proposal for a very solid heating and AC system and we were on the schedule for installation in just a couple of days. Work was well done and system works great. One issue popped up after installation and it was professionally and promptly addressed. Very pleased.

I did not end up getting a quote because I knew the work was out of my budget (he gave me a ballpark estimate), but I felt he wanted to help me. He suggested adding insulation and mentioned a company to use for it. Scheduling was easy and they sent me a text with the tech's photo and location so I knew who to expect and how far away they were.

They came out 3 years ago and replaced our furnace! Called again today to have them replace my AC UNIT! Honestly can't say enough good about this business. They don't over charge, are very friendly, get right to work and are just a down to earth company!

Have furnace and air conditioning purchased through Buckeye Heating & Cooling. Quality is good, installation was fine, prices were fair, maintenance has been satisfactory. Called them to get an estimate for a mini-split for sun room. Said there would be a $64 charge for an estimate. Two other firms are coming out to give free estimates. Free estimates are standard business practice, but apparently not with Buckeye Heating.

Our heat was out. They found a premature wear in an intake diaphragm. He found a temporarily solution to get the heat working again while a replacement part was ordered. They were able to get the part cost covered under warranty and install the following day. I also asked him to give me a quote on replacing the humidifier since it hadn’t worked for a couple years after the furnace was replaced by a different company who quoted me $750 to replace it. It took Buckeye about 90 seconds to identify a bad wire connection. And another 90 seconds to fix it, as part of the same service call. Two trips and installation of new pressure diaphragm and repairing the humidifier was about $300.

I’ve had Buckeye work on several houses… Replace the air conditioning unit in my personal home so when I had a furnace problem I called them… Sent out a technician who could not diagnose the problem but eventually they replaced a part and it ran. An hour after they left it was not working again so they sent out another technician after hours who was able to diagnose the problem very quickly as a plugged drain line which had nothing to do with the original parts that were replace. He seemed confused about the first technician replacing a $800 part without checking the line first. I’ve called four times to talk about the issue only to be told someone will call you. I have not received a phone call back. Technicians were friendly and customer service was professional but upper management is lacking.

Almost an hour later than the window given. A call was received saying the tech would be a few minutes late. Work was completed in a satisfactory manner but, when we paid in cash, the tech didn't have change and we needed to scrounge to get the exact amount. This was frustrating and embarrassing. Not sure I'd recommend this company to anyone else.

I've been using Buckeye for years for routine maintenance, since they installed my furnace and A/C unit in 1996. Both are still going strong. The service technicians are always prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. And they seem to stay with the company for many years -- I've seen the same faces over and over.

I was told by another heating company that a new system needed replaced. This was a fairly new unit that was only 5 years old. Dustin came today from Buckeye Heating and explained everything in detail. I was showed what happened to the heating system. He tested the fuse box and’s it was just a fuse which was not checked yesterday but the other company. The other company also changed the thermostat which wasn’t the issue however it was not the same thermostat and further caused issues and time spent trying to see why the heat pump would not come on. This was our first time using Buckeye Heating & Cooling and I will recommend them to anyone I know. Our air conditioning stopped pushing cold air out and they were able to come out within an hour of calling!!! The technician Terry was very nice and able to explain what was wrong and how much it costs(very reasonable) before starting the service. The job was done quickly and we were able to have our air back and running for these 90 degree days.

We’ve used Buckeye previously when we needed a new furnace and they did great work. When our AC went out we called them immediately and they were out the next day to get us a quote. The new unit works great and is so much quieter than our old model. Everyone very professional and friendly during install.

I have used Buckeye Heating and cooling several times for both emergency service calls and system maintenance for both heating and AC. They have always been prompt, fully inspected and tested the systems, knowledgeable, and let me know the issue and cost to fix prior to performing any actions. When a fix is needed, they perform it quickly and efficiently. Most recently, they have been masked up, wear the shoe coverings inside, and maintain excellent safety protocols. I would, have, and will continue to recommended them highly.

We called Buckeye when our 30-year-old furnace stopped working in the dead of winter. They sent a repair person out to diagnose the issue in less than hour. The person was polite and very thorough. It turned out we needed a new furnace - we went ahead and replaced our A/C, too, as they were offering a special and our A/C is at least 20 years old and has had issues, too. The salesperson came out the same day, explained our options, and made a recommendation (and it was not the most expensive option - which makes me trust them even more). Thank goodness we got this done when we did, with the cold snap and winter storm that immediately followed. All their people were professional and cleaned up after themselves. I have only good things to say.

They do a thorough job with the twice-yearly maintenance and have worked to find a lowest-cost-to-us solution when we have had problems not covered by our system warranty. My furnace was acting up - turning on, running for a few minutes then shutting off. Having no idea how a furnace works I called a professional. I was able to get an appointment the same day, which was great as it is cold in Ohio currently. The technician called beforehand, arrived on time, listened to my symptoms and went right to work. He had some ideas he shared with me, and his first thought was spot on.He fixed it quickly, stayed for 15 minutes to make sure it was working, and the price was very reasonable. I will be looking to Buckeye Heating and Cooling if I need anything in the future.

I first used Buckeye H&C about 5 years ago to install a new high-efficiency furnace and AC with humidifier and digital thermostat. Since then I get twice-yearly checkups. They have always been prompt, responsive, and courteous while doing an excellent job and providing sound advice. One time only they postponed a routine appointment at the last minute to the first appointment one week later due to other customers being without heat. You can't go wrong with this reliable company.

The service technician called me within the time frame quoted by the dispatcher.He asked appropriate questions over the phone and was able to zero in on the issue through our phone conversation and the companies computer based service history.He showed up at the time he said he would fixed the issue, was courteous and professional.You can’t ask for much more than that.

Technician did very good job communicating all the items he was checking during our annual A/C maintenance check and welcomed any and all questions I had. He also was respectful of our floors by wearing covers over footing as he entered home. It was a rainy day fortunately the technician had a trainee with him that was able to hold an umbrella while he did his checks on outside unit.Had scheduled a 3 hour window for this service and received a phone call 30 minutes prior to tech showing up that was much appreciated. Overall very good experience with this company and it’s representatives and very satisfied with in the air conditioner and water heater we have purchased from them in the past year.

Buckeye came for my annual heating system check-up. Tech was masked and wore booties, very respectful of social distancing practices. I like that after the service they provide an email detailing all they check and did. Always prompt service. Oh, and I appreciate getting the postcard reminders to schedule because I'd probably forget!

Terry from Buckeye Heating serviced our air conditioner for the summer. He did a thorough job starting with the condensate drain etc in the basement, and then outside with the air conditioner itself. We felt very confident in Terry’s work, his attention to ensuring our unit was functioning properly. We were emailed a comprehensive report listing all the readings from the various settings. We would definitely have Buckeye Heating perform seasonal checks on our furnace and air conditioner again.

The sales guy that worked with me was great. Since the installation, the A/C has worked great. However, as I begun work in the basement I noticed all the poor, unprofessional work that went on down there and began to regret doing business with them. Additionally my service plan I was paying for was cancelled because I didn't schedule a yearly tune up. Gee, I'm sorry I'm not an HVAC technician and didn't know I needed a yearly tune up and was never notified that I needed one by this company. The manager was real rude during the call too. Low voltage wires were cut without my knowledge or permission, lots of hardware was left strewn about the crawlspace, and they used whatever surface they could to wipe their putty knifes on.

We have had maintenance for our furnace and air conditioning for the more than 20 years. We had been using a different company, but it got to the point that every time they came out it cost us several hundred dollars for problems. We were then told that we needed to replace both units. We decided to try Buckeye, it turned out that both units lasted several more years and we did not have semi annual add-ons to our maintenance agreement. When it was time to replace both units we immediately called Buckeye. We have been extremely pleased with their professionalism and highly recommend them.

Very responsive company, prompt, and knowledgeable. I actually had 2 service issues this week that Jim and Steve handled perfectly. The initial issue was handled by Steve who gave me some great information on my prior HVAC guys and where they were lacking. Turned out to be true AC WAS up and running in 30 mins. A few days later I had another issue (Air Filter) with AC line freezing up. Jim called me on Saturday prior to appointment to go over a few things and ended up diagnosing the fix over the phone. I was back in business with a new air filter and no charge! The charges for 1st repair was such a decent price that I won't go anywhere else. Thanks Buckeye!FOLLOW UP!I had an issue with half of my house lights turning on and off when I turned on/off my AC. Called Buckeye they came out same day and figured it out. Brian P. Went above and beyond to get this done. Him and his lead tech figured out my electric smoker caused an issue in the electrical box which cut off a leg of power to my house. I'm so appreciative because electrical work is outside their job duties. Nevertheless, the fixed it and for $30 because I was on the Gold Star warranty plan.

My furnace was only running intermittently. I called and they scheduled an appointment for that same day. The technician was very professional and through.Once he diagnosed the problem, he informed me that that the circuit board was not locally available and would take about a week to acquire. He told me the price and ordered the part.About a week later the part came in and a technician was scheduled to come out that day. He was right on time. He installed the part and carefully tested that the issue was resolved.The bill was exactly what we had agreed to when the part was ordered.I am extremely satisfied with the work performed.

Been with Buckeye since 2006. First major install job was completed 7/19 on a Trane XV20i and XC95M. Their price was most competitive of three quotes we received. Everything about the job was outstanding. Scott, Brad and Dawson, the install technicians, were all extremely professional. Placed drop cloths everywhere, were extremely careful removing equipment, and stayed until the system was running perfectly and I was completely satisfied. Once they left, it was like they were never here. No trash, clean up or mess inside or out. Would highly recommend them.

Kyle, the technician, let us know that he was on the way. When he got to the house on time, he was very thorough in checking and cleaning the entire HVAC system. Buckeye Heating & Cooling came to repair my AC. After looking into it, they recommended that I get a new heat pump/furnace due to the condition and age of my existing system. They were able to get a sales rep out that day to give an estimate and the new system was installed within a week. Everyone I interacted with were very professional. Scott and the other men that came to do the install were friendly, efficient and offered several suggestions for the new setup. They did an excellent job and even fixed my broken case for my april air filter so that I could continue to use it with the new unit. Great Job Buckeye Heating & Cooling.

I was disappointed that capacitor replacement was $260+. Also, I learned that reminders will not be sent out that my annual service agreement renewal is due. I am very disappointed as this is a standard business practice.

Terry has been to my home twice. He came once to repair a problem with my furnace. The second time was for routine maintenance included in my contract. He is knowledgeable, efficient and polite. I would recommend Buckeye Heating and Cooling without reservation!

Technician came out to service our lennox mini split, and simple maintenence check and not sure problem resolved. This is the 4th time someone has come out. This company installed our mini split system which was a purchase through Costco program. Having error codes pop up and technicians not really knowing what there looking for is a little upsetting. One tech said I have a freon leak, the others had no idea what was going on. Today I paid 150.00 for I don't know what, I am very disappointed with this company. I was told I could get mini split maintenence, several times also today I was told I couldn't get it. Needs to be combined with furnace, which is way more expensive. Poor knowledge by techs and staff.

All aspects of the system look great and well planned. Everything was cleaned up afterwards without any sign of them being there. The Buckeye techs always call to let me know that they are on their way. Brent arrived, rang the door bell then stepped back approximately 6 ft to insure safe distance between us. He explained that he would not be entering the house and asked me to adjust the thermostat to cool so that the A/C would start running. He checked to see when the last time the filter was changed (6 months previously) and asked if I need a new one. I didn't and Brent made sure that I knew how to replace the filter, which I did. Brent then went and did the annual check of the A/C unit. When that was done he also cleaned to unit. After he completed his work he rang the door bell again, stepped back and reviewed the work he did. He asked if I had any questions and let me know that an invoice would be e-mailed. Brent was very professional and paid attention to insuring safe distance. I have always been very happy with the work of Buckeye Heating and Cooling and would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work.

I collected quotes from several companies, and Buckeye was by far the best. Their president himself came out to review it with me. My installers were friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. No one wants to shell out for a new HVAC system, but all things considered, I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

We solicited quotes from 4 HVAC companies in the greater-Columbus area. After having each company come to our home, review our existing system and discuss replacement options, we opted for Buckeye. We knew they did good work, as they’d replaced the system at our prior home in 2015, but we knew we needed to go through the process again for our new home. Nothing had changed from our experience a few years prior: the Buckeye team was competitive in their pricing and very easy to work with. The sales rep (Jim) reviewed all options with us and even recommended against doing something we’d been considering and explained why it didn’t make sense for us (when was the last time a sales rep tried to talk you OUT of buying something?!?). On the day of the install, Brad showed up on time to get the “lay of the land” and set the approach. Once he’d done so, he went right to work on the outside unit. Later in the morning Scott arrived, reviewed the game plan with Brad, and executed his part. Our 6-year old twins “supervised” the work throughout the day, bouncing inside and out, depending on what “neat” was happening. Brad and Scott were both great sports about it, explaining what they were doing and stressing safety when the kids were around. All around, it was a great experience!!!

Our spring equipment check was scheduled and we were called to notify us that the technician was on his way to our home. Brian, the Buckeye service representative was very professional, was careful to wear shoe covers indoors, and checked the whole furnace and AC equipment. He took the time to answer questions, and make some recommendations on use of our system since it was new last summer. We purchased the new system from Buckeye Heating and Cooling as we have been customers of theirs for many years through two houses and highly recommend their service.

I called Buckeye at 9:30 am and got their answering service and by 9:45 I got a call back from their scheduler. I was told their tech would be out sometime between 12:00 and 5:00. Their tech was at my house about a half hour early did his work and was on his way to his next call about an hour and a half late. My furnace works great now!! I highly recommend Buckeye!!

Scott & Dalton installed a new air unit on July 18. They were great. I am now cool. Salesman, Pete was super nice explaining what I needed. Jimmie, the repairman was the greatest. He is a five star + guy. Scott was a five too. I am eighty & they got my home cooler than it has been in years. Only problem with Buckeye is the regular maintenance, you have to call in winter to schedule spring check for summer & in summer to schedule a fall check for winter. They are great in emergencies by coming same day. I would recommend them.

Buckeye heating has always been very good to work with for the installation and preventative maintenance checks on my HVAC system. This past week's visit was especially helpful in that my appointment was for the 12 to 5 window and they called just before eleven and asked if they might come early. Brian T was the technician and was there promptly and was complete with his checkup and on the road by 11:45. This freed up the rest of my day which was great. It has been my experience that Buckeye has usually tried to be there at the beginning of the time window for their appointment window. Much appreciated. Absolutely no complaints with the quality of their service either. The Lennox HVAC system that they installed seven years ago has worked flawlessly.

Our AC failed at 8 PM on a Monday night - in the middle of a heat wave with temps above 90 for several days already. I called Buckeye and got a return call in about 15 minutes. Brent from Buckeye came out in about an hour and was courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem as a blown capacitor in the compressor. With this I expected to have a return visit the following day to replace the part, but to my surprise he had a replacement capacitor in his truck. We were back up and running in about an hour and everyone in the house was happy. This is the first repair call I have had to make on my Lennox AC in the 10 years since Buckeye installed it in 2010 and I could not have had better service.

Have been having issues with my AC for a while, called buckeye heating, sent a technician out quickly to diagnose, found out my AC was undersized, got a quote for a replacement a few days later (on a weekend even). Very reasonable, explained everything in detail, gave us multiple options. From start to finish everything was first class, got brand new equipment, a much more comfortable house, and the techs did an excellent job with the installation. After spending well over $200 at Lowes for 2 humidifiers, which did very little to humidify our home, I called to have a humidifier installed on to our furnace. Jimmy and Dustin took care of business and I couldn't be more pleased to not have to worry about filling up 4 water tanks every day, cleaning up white dust as the store bought units described in their manuals, and the reduction in static... This is a great company! They are extremely responsive when you need them. We have an annual service contract whereby they come out twice a year and check the furnace and air conditioning. Every technician has been highly skilled and super friendly. I love this company!

Brian was very knowledgeable and willing to answer and discuss my questions about our new system! He helped me learn some minor things that can become a big problem, like keeping leaves clear of the air intake, which is important for us because we have a heavily wooded lot! This has been our first full year with Buckeye and with this Lenox product, and have had a great experience since it started up!

Our ac stopped working on a Saturday night. Called Sunday morning at 7am and Steve was here by 9am on a Sunday! He talked us through what he was doing, what the problem was, what he was doing and what the probably timeline is for our ac unit. He was very nice and efficient with his work. While repairing a problem with our 18 year old furnace, the technician discovered other issues that needed addressed. After considering our options, we decided to replace entire furnace instead of putting new parts in to an old unit. We didn't feel any pressure to do what we did, it just made good sense. A new, very much upgraded new furnace and thermostat was installed without any problems 2 days later.

Just the Facts. You be the Judge!I had a technician from Buckeye Heating and Cooling come to my home on January 21, 2022 and diagnose a whine coming from a fan on my furnace. The tech indicated the Inducer Motor Assembly (see attached picture) and the cost for them to complete the job was $1,084.00. I thought that was a ridiculous amount of money for the job and told the tech I didn't want them to replace the inducer.I subsequently ordered the correct draft inducer motor from a reputable online supplier for $263.55. The evening I received the part, I replaced the motor assembly following directions that came in the package in about 30 minutes.I would argue that charging a customer $800+ for a 30 minute job is an unethical business practice. The bottom line is Buckeye Heating and Cooling, which is owned by a larger company The Wrench Group, is charging exorbitant prices for their work and taking advantage of people that can't do what I did and replace it themselves.

We had a regularly scheduled check up today but had a water leak that made the floor damp in one area without damage to anything so we didn't worry about it too much. The tech that came today did the usual check up and noted the water on the basement floor. He said he could blow a line and clear it up for us. We told him to go ahead. The line had an additional problem and the tech told us immediately and said what it would take to fix it if we wanted. We gave him the go ahead and shortly after the water issue was solved he was on his way and we averted a bigger problem down the road. He was vere aware of the Covid issues and wore a mask and distanced himself. We appreciated his care in all respects. We can't recommend Buckeye Plumbing and Heating enough. They are GREAT!

Very happy working with Buckeye on several projects. The Buckeye team was very professional and responsive from quote to project completion. John and Jeff were very respectful of our house, and took pride in the work they were doing for us.

I called at 8am and by 10:30 Patrick (the tech) had already fixed the issue, walked me through what had caused it, how to fix the issue if it happens again (in another 5 years), and was on his way to the next job. There was no crazy emergency fee, Patrick was awesome (courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and kept everything clean), and my heat works again. What more could I ask for?

Brian came out on a Sunday as an on call technician. He quickly diagnosed the problem (bad blower motor) and gave us several pricing options for both a blower motor and for replacing the furnace (it's 17 years old). While we are still deciding exactly what to do I was very happy with the promptness and professionalism of Brian.

Thankful for the Buckeye heating and cooling team. New 5 ton HVAC system installed last week.. so far so good. The team was professional, courteous and did the work as quoted.. no surprises. The team did an amazing job cleaning up after themselves. Only two minor issues.. two small hole left unfilled ( open from outside straight thru to basement)which we covered ourselves and they did not have right filter for our system and was supposed to deliver next day but so far we haven’t received yet. We still have old filter that works so no big rush but would like to see follow thru. I like that we had options, fair pricing and good work done as quoted.

Arrived at 6:30. Removed thermostat - took it to truck - came back said did not have one - will be back on Monday / charged $75!! His diagnostic was / have had trouble with this type of thermostat and will get one and replace for $310 labor. I was charged $75 for the so called diagnosis.

I've had a great experience with Buckeye Heating & Cooling. they installed a new AC unit for me (never had one before). Scheduling the estimate and installation was very quick. They were very communicative in the process. Their price was CONSIDERABLY lower than others, by over a thousand dollars. Additionally, I was able to use the Costco program with them, saving quite a bit of money. I havent been able to use the AC yet (It's january), so if anything changes i'll report back!

I was scheduled for a routine AC check up. I came home from work about 30 minutes before my appointment and found my carbon monoxide alarm going off. I opened the doors and windows and waited, and I shared this news with Brian and Shane when they arrived. They immediately went to work and detected over 40 ppm in my living room. Brian kept working to find the source and eventually did. He remedied it quickly and we were back down to 0 ppm. We have an annual service contract with Buckeye to check our heating and cooling system twice a year. In the Spring, they work on the condenser unit outside, checking pressures to verify peak performance and verify coolant capacity is full. They also clean the coils of built-up dust and cottonwood fuzz. In the Winter, they check the furnace for proper combustion and burner output. They have a computer that plugs into the system to keep records of various performance criteria over time to predict if certain components need adjustment or replacement. When they come inside, they put on booties and vacuum up after themselves. They let me know what time they will arrive and have always been on time. The techs are very knowledgeable and share their findings.

I had a new HVAC system installed. The customer service was excellent the price was very reasonable. I received great communication from the sales department and installers. I had all of my questions answered and felt very comfortable with the process.

Our AC went out on the hottest day of the year and of course after normal business hours and on a weekend. Larry showed up right on time (5 minutes early actually). Work was done processionally and efficiently. When he went to spray off my cooling coils, he even took the time to ensure the garden hose wasn’t hitting our potted plants as he was dragging it across the deck. 1. They were unable to definitively tell us what was wrong with our furnace, despite us paying $75 just for them to come out.2. Tentatively quoted us a very high number for new furnace and installation ($3k), despite not knowing what was wrong with our furnace.3. We got a second opinion and that person was able to fix it for ~$300 instead of a new system at the $3k they quoted us.4. The second opinion was able to give us modified heat while it was being fixed, and questioned why the Buckeye Heating and Cooling technician didn't do the same so that we didn't have to spend the night in the cold (which we did).Overall, get a second (and third, maybe) opinion before you book anything. Preferably, get some one who can come out for free so that you don't waste $75 getting no answers.

I had a new HVAC system installed last December and Buckeye Heating did a great job. I had a complicated install due to trying to convert from propane to natural gas at the same time, and Brad (the owner) worked with me every step of the way, even when Columbia gas screwed up their end. The system itself had some quality control issues from Lennox, but Buckeye Heating sent a service tech out the next day and quickly fixed under warranty.You always get a person answering the phone making scheduling appointments easy and they show up on time. It's a very professional organization.

Jimmy came to my home and performed a check out on my entire system. I know the standard life of a system is between 15-20 years, and my system is at 19 currently. It also turns out my AC was low on refrigerant. Jimmy tuned everything up and cleaned up the system. Although it is running as well as it can for now, he showed me that I have a leak somewhere in my AC system, and the entire system is showing signs of wear and age as I suspected. Thanks, Jimmy, for being so thorough and for doing such a great job. I am currently looking into replacement options as you suggested!

Back to January 2019, our heater broke down in the evening. I called Buckeye contractor customer service, and the technician, Brain, called meback within 20 minutes after I called. He came to our house at after hour and found out what was broken. Two hours later, our heater was fully running again. Later our condensation pike leaked related to the heaterrepaired in January, Buckeye fixed the leak for free. I think this company is very professional and up to front about the cost.

Called this company for a tuneup on my furnace. guy comes out says he can’t do it because my blower is not working properly so we paid $96 for them to come out and do nothing and tell me it’s going to be $700 for a new blower motor I try to look at it. it had power the thermostat was working, the unit was working before it was looked at now it does nothing no power to anything breaker is on but still nothing going on with the unit tried calling for support and the lady on the other line was not very helpful or friendly I would hope they would come out to at least put the unit back to where it was.

Buckeye Heating came out same day to diagnose our furnace at no charge! Our technician Chad was excellent!

Buckeye heating and cooling was our Hail Mary. We had met with 4 other companies, and some even completing work on our house, to help temp regulate our infant son’s room (above the garage). All other efforts from other companies failed. Feeing defeated, I messaged Buckeye Heating and cooling and they called the next day, getting us on their schedule at a time that worked best for us. Their techs were knowledgeable and they offered solution that seemed so simple. We were skeptical but willing to try. They came out as planned, completed the work in a timely and affordable manner.... and IT WORKED! A room that was always 10 degrees cooler/warmer than other rooms was now within 1-2 degrees of the set house temp! We can’t say enough about buckeye heating and cooling and will definitely be choosing them for our future HVAC needs!

Follow up to snow situation last February where the heat pump was so full of snow that the fan couldn't spin. Man reattached to power and tested everything. All okay now.

I spent thousands of dollars on a new system this past fall. Today, I woke up to a cold house (59 degrees) at 3am. It’s -5 degrees outside and my heat is not working. When calling to utilize the GOLD service package, I was told by their answering service that I need to wait until the office opens (24 hour service....I think not). The answering service also told me that they do not service outside units (heat pump) before 930am. Am I missing something here? I paid a boatload of money for this system and its “guarantees”, but it feels like this company is stalling and falling short on expectations...........Update:BH&C called around 8am to tell me that someone would be out sometime between 9am & Noon. It’s now 10:30, still no technician, still no heat. Currently it’s 54 degrees inside, we’ve put the oven on full blast to help prevent our pipes from freezing..............Update:Technician arrived at 11:31am...........Update:Technician completed fix of the system and left around 1:05pm. Auxiliary heating was not installed correctly. It was explained that heat pumps are inefficient at low temperatures like today which is why it was so cold inside. Without the auxiliary heat strips it will not work past 20F or so. He tried to set the heat strips to always on, but I challenged him on the efficiency of having a temperature range so he also adjusted some settings on my Nest thermostat to make things more efficient. All in all it was a good experience, even though it would have been unnecessary if they installed it correctly in the first place.

UPDATE!!!! 8-20-13 Same problem occurred today, that was supposed to be corrected 8 months ago. Sales manager told me that it was because I did have it maintenance.He would need to charge me another 75.00 to come out and try another leak test, but doubts my 10 yr warranty wont cover any parts because I never had them maintain it. He cant get ask the technician until tomorrows morning because they are already gone today after , the sales manager was to call me back four hours ago. PLEASE stay away from this company!! My Erie Insurance agent recommended them when my AC needed replaced and I have already informed him the latter.Well I got with a a real company Bennett Heating and cooling. Installation was completed incorrectly as they left bolts lose throughout the install.Service call, Leak test, labor,(Replacing Coil that Buckeye should have done from the first call ), oh yea under warranty for the part, which was told had expired) , plus 5 lbs Freon. You ready!!! 300.00 Total!!Do not purchase anything from this company as they do not stand behind their warranty and service. The lady in Customer Service was very rude!!!! After talking to other RESPECTABLE company's, they could not believe that BHC would not back their work. They tried to take almost $500.00 just to come out and check a leak , in which the previous guy did three months ago. Then tried to state the warranty was only for 5 yrs, however after contacting GOODMAN the warranty is for 10. My furnace went out and wasn’t able to get it back on. I called buckeye heating and cooling and the tech Jimmy came out to help me and showed me how to check things out and was able to fix my furnace at an affordable price l. I’m so very happy. Thank you buckeye heating and cooling and Jimmy for getting my furnace repaired so I’d have heat this coming winter!

My 91 yr old Aunt kept complaining she was cold. She called Buckeye Heating and a technician was dispatched to check out her furnace. While he was there he discovered a backed-up drain in her basement. He checked out the furnace then explained the drain problem and gave her the name & numbers of a couple of local plumbers. We called a plumber who resolved the drain problem then a few days later she was complaining about being cold again so Buckeye Heating sent another tech to check her furnace. They went over it with a fine tooth comb ~ all was well. A few days later the owner stopped by her home and talked to her and she told him she was still cold and he patiently listened to her and said to let him think about it. She called us this morning and said she was still cold and could we change her thermostat so we said we would come look. When I looked at it, I discovered that her programmable thermostat had been reprogrammed to go down to 60 degrees at night, 64 degrees at 7:00 AM and 70 degrees at 8:00 AM. (We think she probably did it accidentally when trying to turn the heat up.) I reset the thermostat but was not sure if I did it correctly so I called Buckeye Heating and asked if someone could please come check what I did. First, they said absolutely, someone would come out today. Second, I learned my Aunt had called 3 times today and was a bit cranky (my words not theirs) and she hung up on them twice. Third, they were so KIND and so PATIENT with her even though she was cranky. And last, but not least, when the technician came out and reprogrammed her thermostat Buckeye Heating did not charge her although they certainly were entitled to. It's a very good company with professional technicians and VERY patient office staff. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!

Our air conditioning unit quit blowing air. Unfortunately, BH&C seemed to send me a salesman instead of a repairman. The repairman tried to convince me we would have to buy a new unit for over $3,000 and he couldn't really do the repair unless we spent close to a thousand. I wanted a second opinion, and am glad I got one. A repairman fixed the problem for two-hundred dollars instead. I would not recommend Buckeye Heating & Cooling. Either the technicians don't know what they are doing, or they just want to upsell you.

If you want your new AC unit to last only 4 years, go with this company. Had a new unit installed in 2012 to fix a leak in the original unit that had lasted nearly 15 years. Everything was fine until May 2016 when it stopped blowing cold air. They came out and suspected a leak. They put refrigerant & dye in and said it'd have to be blowing for two weeks before it could be diagnosed. It never got colder even with the refrigerant. I called back and they couldn't get to me until 5 days later...5 days of no working AC when the weather was in the mid to high 80s. When they came, they diagnosed & fixed the leak, apparently. It was working ok until today. I have them scheduled to come tomorrow but after spending multiple thousands on a new unit in 2012 and $1000 in the last two months, I am incredibly disappointed to say the least. The only reason they're coming tomorrow is because the parts are under warrantee. However, depending on what they say, I'm strongly inclined to get a second opinion.UPDATE: I give them an A for promptness and ability to address the issue. This time it was a part, so it was covered under warrantee and cost very little to fix. It's up and working again and I'm pleased about that. My hope is that like original AC that came with the house, this will last another 10 years without issue. Fingers crossed.

I have used Buckeye Heating and Cooling for servicing my Heating and Cooling unit for the last 10 years. I have found the staff to be very professional, courteous, skilled and responsive and would highly recommend them to others.

James explained everything that was going on with the AC unit, cleaned the coils, gave me information on the fall check up and talked about how to treat/buy the humidifier filter before they come out in the fall. He also reminded me I can turn off my humidifier.

Service tech did excellent work on my AC condenser today. He shared helpful information and even removed a dead mouse from inside the unit.

My husband pulled the part out of our furnace before leaving for a 24hr shift and said this is what you need to get to get it started again. I called several heating and cooling places and they wouldn't even bother with helping. If I wasnt interested in paying them $90 an hour to come look at the furnace they werent interested in helping (I think it was because I was a woman who hardly knew what I was talking about also). Buckey Heating and Cooling was very helpful. They helped me find the serial number on the furnace and within three hours they had ordered the part, received it, and had me picking it up. Every person I talked to was great. $26 and my girls and I will have heat tonight:)

Quoted my friend $7000 because her heating unit was too old to fix and needed replaced. Got a second opinion. $350 for a replacement fan sequencer.I will be contacting the BBB so something like this doesn't happen again.

Ordered heat pump unit about 2 yrs ago. When they came to instal they brought the wrong unit (knowingly) and then knowingly didn't bring the heating aspect of it bc the owner felt that he would just give me that part a few months later. After pulling him in to get involved the situation eventually got fixed. Then I find that I only need to service my unit once a year but buckeye will only check the heat part bc it's winter it was 70 yday right? The only reason I chose these guys is bc Costco had a nationwide sale that no one else could come close to. If I could order things and not have a middle man like buckeye that would be fantastic.

Called 10/25/16 for a service call, a follow upof the 9/30 service call well the scheduled date was 10/26 between 1-5,,,,at 5:45 on 10/26 Buckeye still had not shown up and the service (phone) person said that the driver might be in traffic. So, 10/27 when I call to confirm that they will be here, they say oh we can't do that until 10/28 between 1-5 and probably later in the day,,,,,,,,,So,terrible,terrible, terrible and I'll note both times when I said I lived in Blacklick it seemed like that was on the otherside of the world as it related to them making a service run.
