These guys are professional and extremely helpful, they have made a rather stressful plumbing situation much easier

Recently had a main drain issue in my older home. After contacting 3 different plumber/drain cleaning companies, whose estimates were ridiculous, a neighbor recommended Chuck Ball, owner of CCG. Chuck came to my home....after hours on a Friday night and after working all day and assured me he would take care of the problem. He had to return to his shop for the water pressurized snake, needed to clear the drain properly. His professionalism, knowledge and caring efficiency was amazing. The actual clearing only took about 10 minutes, not the hours others had estimated it would take, including digging up my yard. The blockage was in my basement main drain U joint pipe, not my aeration system! Not only was I delighted with his attitude and work ethic, but with the more than reasonable cost. Can't give him enough kudos!! Hire this company!

Trevor was great and I would highly recommend his business. Responsive, knowledgeable about product options and the work to be performed. After and during installation of the water heater Trevor cleaned everything around the area. Very nice to deal with. Came right out to view the issue and worked us rapidly into his schedule to perform the work. Will be using him again after the holidays for some other plumbing needs we have. They came to check our gas fireplace to make sure it was ready for this cold day. They are our best in San Antonio, very thorough, checking the gas lines, making sure there are no leaks, explaining the steps to get the fireplace working. Light the fireplace for us. Great customer service. I will use them from now on. Very professional and polite.

I called JA on Friday morning because of a leak and clogged drain. Antwan returned my call and was at my house within two hours. He was very friendly and professional. He explained everything well and got the work done promptly. Will definitely use again.

Stacy was excellent! He responded to an emergency plumbing situation in the middle of the night within a half hour of me calling. He was extremely professional, pleasant and helpful. He went above and beyond to get the job done and provided additional advice and insight along the way to educate me as a homeowner.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience and quality that Gary and team provided. Not only did he quickly carve out his schedule to accommodate installing my new water heater, I saved ~$400 on what I would have paid one of the bigger chain companies. Our Technician came out due to a non-stop running Sump Pump.

He was in and out in an hour and even showed us how it operated in case we ever needed to test our battery backup system, etc.

Oh, they were also right on time when they said they'd be there (30mins window).

The servicemen looked for and found a leak in a complicated plumbing system to a house, out-building, and a barn. They were thorough and professional. I would use them again if needed.

I have been using Calhoun Plumbing for many years now for some rental houses that I have. I have always been happy with the work and felt that it was a good value for what they charged. I recently had to experiences which I’ve changed everything. I will just stay at the fax without questioning honesty, or competency, or any of that: 1. A gentleman arrived at two of my rental houses, one day apart, and at both he told me that I needed to have large sections of pipe replaced due to broken or corroded pipes. I believe this at the time. But as both tenants were left with the inability to use water/toilet, I wanted to restore things even if temporarily. As Calhoun had no working water jet, and I wanted that done, the Plumber recommended me to call another company, which I did. 2. This company came out and had both lines blocked and stated that they were in fact no breakage or corrosion or anything else that needed to be done. I had perfectly functioning plumbing in both cases in less than an hour. I spent. Nearly $800 with Calhoun for absolutely no improvement in service. In one case, the toilet was left in the hallway even. I spent less than that with another company who was there for less time and everything now works fine. This gentleman also placed a camera in and said there was absolutely no need for any pipe to be replaced. Again, I do not question intentions or competence here, and I will not speak ill of them. I am just laying out the facts. I do not feel that the outcomes described represent good value for money. It may be time to raise the prices and hire more qualified people. The service I received in these two instances was worthless and wrong. UPDATE: Sounds nice, the comment below; but, I called the day before posting this review and related who, what, where, and when. The time for any remorse and offers was THEN.

Thank you, thank you for your response to my call after a water line break. They sent employees to fix the problem the same day I called them. I so appreciate that they responded quickly to my call for help.
