Best New Furnaces in Colorado Springs CO

We had Brian, Coral and Kendall come out and take a look at our AC unit that was damaged due to the recent hail storm. Unfortunately in our older house the furnace needed to also be replaced to be compatible with the newer generation of AC units. We also needed to replace the Electrical main panel box outside due to being a fire hazard (Federal Pacific). They have quoted us for a Square D 200 amp. They were all very professional, very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. They were quick on giving us a quote and helping us with financing. They helped us in every way possible to make sure that we could get the items done that were desperately needed! Looking forward to getting this installed! Happy Mama!!

Guy was here for an hour,had to get a transformer....charged me for the time to get it and charged 75 for a 35 dollar part. I dont trust them.

In August we developed problems with our old hot water heater. We called several plumbers in the Colorado Springs area. Some would not schedule an appointment for one to two weeks. Then we called Oak View Mechanical. They put us in touch with their master plumber, Tim, and he said he could look at our problem the same day. Since we have an older house, the replacement evolved into a major project. County codes had changed and our venting no longer met code. We also had to replace our old furnace, as well as the hot water heater. Also, the old electricity was only 110 volts and had to be upgraded to 220. With this change, we decided to also install an air conditioner.

Oak View’s owner (Joe), master plumber (Tim), and master mechanic (Dana), and the owner of the electric company they recommended (Mark, Gaddie Electric) came to our house at the same time to look at the project and discuss it with us. At every step of the way, they consulted with us to insure they were doing what we wanted and promptly answered our questions. They staged the job and coordinated with everyone involved to minimize the inconvenience to us. They did the removal, installation, and rewiring in only two days! They set up the appointment with the county inspectors on a day convenient for us. They were very considerate of us and cleaned up all the debris. Our job was unusual because the house, hot water heater, and furnace were so old. Joe, Tim, Dana, and Mark were very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Walter and Brian were on time, professional, personable, had the knowledge to do the job very that well. I would definitely use Alphalete Plumbing and Heat again.

Riley came and installed our air conditioner. He worked very hard and kept us informed every step of the way. He was thorough, clean, polite and professional every minute he was in our home. Shannon in the office was also friendly, thorough, helpful and efficient. Their prices were on par with the other companies we checked with but their service was above and beyond. Plus we get 1 year of free maintenance and a 2 year warranty! I am now a cool Beagle. (Although, I was pretty cool before.)

Edit for posterity: Troy immediately called me berating me about my lack of knowledge on what a review does and excusing himself since I wasn’t charged. I wasn’t charged after I called him out for trying to charge for services that weren’t done while a family of 3 have been dealing with their company all day and cleaning up behind them.

Another company identified that they actually destroyed the cap to the sewer line allowing possible explosive gases to enter the housing area for the HVAC. I am contacting my insurance company. The company working on it now sais the cap is destroyed and so are the threads in the pipe.
