CJ Plumbing responded immediately to our call to investigate a leaking water main. They sent a professional team who worked closely with us and the Village inspectors to replace the old broken lead pipe with a new copper one. Rapid and professional replacement. I highly recommend them!

I'm a first time home owner so I don't have much experience working with contractors. My kitchen sink suddenly started to back up with black water and the plunger wasn't working. My husband tried to snake the drain but once he loosened the pipe a lot of black water and sludge started to come up even more.

We tried to call around to local plumbers after a quick search on google for plumber near me.

I called around for quotes, most of the plumbers wouldn't provide any pricing and insisted on coming out. When I called Chicago Water Heater and Pump Specialist, the representative that picked up asked me some questions then asked me for pictures. Not long after the field supervisor Sam called and gave me a range that I was comfortable with from the low end of a quick service call to a potential price on the high end if it was more involved.

When he came out, he put on shoe covers, wore a mask and gloves and laid out tarps and even cleared out the clutter under the sink. He got to work right away and explained the process of what needed to be done. One hour and a half later he had fixed everything and replaced some pipes that weren't proper.

Now I have a working sink again! Working with Sam was really helpful, he was transparent through out the entire process and he took away the stress. I hope I don't need to call a plumber again soon but if something comes up I'll definitely be calling Sam and his team again.

We hired captain rooter to help our family during a winter freeze in February. It was the only plumber who wasn't completely booked, and it appears that was for good reason. Joel and Jesse managed to solve the problem after several days of golden time and causing tremendous damage to the walls and floor to gain access. The entire time we were trying to be upsold to buy water heaters etc which was unwelcome when they were struggling to fix the problem. Due to the huge price tag they quoted our insurance and the other contractors who came to fix the damage to the walls and floors were quite unimpressed with the quality of work. Additionally, after informing them that the work they did caused both our outdoor hoses to stop working Joel gave us a run around and after two scheduled appointments nobody showed up. Steer clear of this business. I shudder when I see one of their trucks knowing that another home owner is probably being taken advantage of.

Came quickly, friendly, and found the problem right away. Am looking forward to working with them again.

Donal and his crew went above and beyond to fix our leaks and seepage in our basement. They installed a sump pump and waterproofed our basement. Incredible customer service -Donal was/is responsive to all questions and explained everything thoroughly.
