Jan and his team really did everything right. We were still recovering from a previous run-in with a truly awful one man plumbing crew, and Vanguard was the perfect antidote. Very communicative and clearly has a bidding process that works for him. All of the good reviews you see here are accurate. Shane provided both sump pump repair and recommendations and a second visit for diagnosis and repair for routing the sewer line. He explained what was causing the problems and also explained what he was going to do and why. A basement flooding after rain storms and a simple catch basin pump out and cleaning resulted in other issues causing the flooding. Turns out my mainline was clogged so then l had them rod it out but issue still persistent because water did not drain after rodding, Jeremy was persistent and wasn't gonna leave me like that so he brought out the pressure jetter and it got the clog out all the way to the sewer and water level returned to normal, also gave me a deal to include the jetting price for the pumping and rodding price at no extra, l was so grateful

He sent his men out ...I was amazed how quickly the crew came to my home... They fixed the job and left the place looking better then when they came. Matt quoted me the exact price I paid. My water heater was in the basement and was not an emergency replacement - by any stretch, but was leaking. I called him, just before the Holidays, and he worked his schedule as best he could considering the Holidays and running as an independent contractor. I would call Matt again in a heat beat!

Nowadays with companies trying to cut corners and not provide you the type of service that you're lo expecting. Able was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them.

Not long after moving into a new home, we had water bubbling into the walls, through the door frame, and down the hallway upstairs. Accurate correctly diagnosed over the phone that it was an A/C condensation pipe that was causing it. They were then able to schedule someone to come find the root cause much sooner than other plumbers. (Turns out a Freedom Heating & Cooling tech inadvertently kicked a pipe loose while rummaging through the attic to fix our busted A/C a few days prior). Problem solved, and Walt at Accurate hooked us up with Chicago Water and Fire Restoration, who did a fantastic job repairing the affected areas.

Then another call to Accurate a month later, for two leaky sinks. Fast, friendly, very informative.

Then again a few months after that for a hyperactive sump pump. Turns out our mechanical room is filled with things not up to code that the home inspector didn't catch. Like PVC encased in a tonne of concrete. Walt and his associate worked in the cold rain for several hours, installing a backup sump pump, and performing forensics to demystify our Frankenplumbing. Once done he was patient enough to explain everything in lay-terms, made sure I knew what to watch out for in the future, made suggestions for a home generator to power the sump pumps, and provided low-cost options for later plumbing renovations.

Based on my experience, I can recommend without hesitation.

Joe was amazing! Not only does he do a quality job he cares about his customers. He went above and beyond to help me complete a project in a building in Chicago that required a licensed/insured/certified plumber and Joe was able to get the job done and at a reasonable price! He even recommended a great tile guy to help me finish my work and it turned out great! Highly recommend. 5 stars across the board. Joe is now my go-to plumber.

I Called Rodding Rooter they came out rodded my sink and bathtub. I am very pleased with the job they did. will use again if I ever need plumbing.
