First Mike came to evaluate the work needed and assess the damage. Steve showed up and completed the pipe repairs in one day. Next day the water mediation team arrived (Jose and John) and cleaned up the water, sanitized the floor and walls. They set up the dehumidifiers and air mover to thoroughly dry the basement.This was a wonderful experience especially since I didn't need to figure it out on my own. Thank you all for such a great job.

First Chicago Plumbing gave us a quote based on pictures we sent, at no charge. The final bill matched the estimate exactly (aside from the fact that they discovered on-site that we needed a new garbage disposal--which, parts and labor, was an additional $320). Very thorough, and they walked us through everything. The price was very fair.

I have received professional and courteous service twice from this company. Both technicians dispatched to my unit to conduct repairs were knowledgeable and willing to help. Although there were some initial communication impediments, the company worked through them to resolve my issue (gas leaks). I would recommend this group of professionals to my friends/family. I called Kavana's Plumbing around 11:30 p.m. I had an emergency when my pipes burst suddenly due to the extreme weather and I had no water in the house. I called several other plumbers looking for help, but all were booked or either closed due to the late hour.
Thankfully, I came across Kavana's Plumbing and Heating which were highly rated and spoke to Henry. He was Courteous and Professional and came right out to our home. He assessed the situation and immediately went to work after we agreed upon pricing. He was very thorough. He fixed the busted pipe and also took the time to correct a few other leaks that resulted in the pipes starting to thaw out. I would highly recommend this Plumbing service. I am so thankful I was able to find a Plumber who was willing to come right out and Henry did an excellent job.

I wrote a review for Kavana’s Plumbing and Heating about a month ago. During the severe cold, my pipes burst and I needed an emergency 24 hour repair service. I surfed the internet and found several 24 hour service providers, but they had restricted hours listed despite the fact they advertised as 24 hour service. I came across Kavana’s Heating and Plumbing as a 24 hour provider and spoke to Henry who immediately came out and repaired the damage to our pipe and restored our water.
We have an old Victorian built in 1894 and the plumbing system is delicate. Henry had the knowledge and resources to correct the situation without causing us to go into extreme debt in order to correct the problem.

Sympathetic to our budget, he also recognized a few other issues in the piping system. If left, they could potentially cause more severe problems in the future.

In our neighborhood, our house has stood as a historic landmark for the community. We are known as the Pink and White House of the West side of Chicago. My dad was dedicated to preserving the integrity of the home and the frequent repairs needed when preserving an older home. Since his death, the house is in need of many repairs to our great concern.

Mindful of this, Kavana’s Plumbing and Heating was willing to donate their time and service to repair and fix some of the other plumbing issues that was detected in the home.
