Best Fix Frozen Pipes in Chicago IL

They repaired the strainer basket due to a leak underneath the sink. They did an excellent job of explaining to me what they were looking for and what the cost would be to repair it. I would definitely use them again for any future plumbing issues.

I needed a single hole faucet replaced .I bought my own faucet. My siblings where at home because I had to workThe technician sold 2 plastic L pipes to my siblings for 40 dollars , they cost 5 bucks each . He then charged them 705$ for installation of the faucet. It took 20 minutes to install the faucet.. how do you even justify 705$ for a 20 minute faucet replacement

We've used First Chicago a couple times. Back in May, our sump pump died during some heavy rain. First Chicago was able to get out that day, and put in a new solid sump pump at a good price. They were very consultative, and walked me through what they were seeing with our new house. They also tested out our backup and showed me that it had died. We liked them so much that we had them come back recently to install a new backup sump pump system. Again, they were great to work with this time as well (shout out to Martin for the great work.) Will definitely use these guys for all our plumbing needs moving forward.

Very professional and courteous. I called in the morning, they came out a few hours later, and everything was fixed within an hour. Will definitely use them again.

The plumber, Henry Wright, was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous,. He quickly repaired my faucet. He helped me understand how to prevent the problem from happening in the future. I highly recommend him!

Don’t really take time to write reviews but this company deserves it . Mike was very profesional and answered every single question I had . They gave me a proposal weeks prior and I contacted them 3 weeks after and they picked up the phone on me every single time. Other company’s would not pick up the phone on me and after leaving voicemails never got one call back. If you’re serious about getting a job professionally done these guys are it , no hassles and if they say the job will be done, it will .He had Dan & Don with him as well , they were always respectful and never stopped working , Great guys . These guys did a fantastic job . I would not waste my time with others company’s depending on hope . I had a new septic system installed on the property in which they promised they will have a complete in five days and in which they kept there promise .

I Definitely don’t recommend this company for any emergency service.. needed a sewer line cleared as I was having backup in my shower… charged 475 to clear shower line which they could not clear... didn’t tell me that price before attempting to clear line.. than text me a price of 650 to try & clear the same line thru the toilet… at that point I said no.. paid them 475 +125 for emergency service fee & they left with nothing being accomplished.. he did say. If I had let him drop a camera to see which line to clear.. it would of been cheaper but Ofcourse he didn’t tell me any of that in the beginning or the 475 price til after they attempted to clear line.... had another company come the next day & clear the same line for 275 & no camera needed…so basically they wanted to charge me 1225.00 to do the same job, I got done for 275 the next day.. ripoffs!!!!!!!! Beware!!!!

I have used Ashland plumbing professionally and personally! They are truly amazing people to work with . They are very professional and respond in a timely matter. I worked with Nick and he is a true gem! Not only he fixed the problem that I had but he suggested other things that needed to be done and took care of them.His attitude and professionalism needs to be recognized.
