Jesus and his team are true professionals. They came quick and saved us from a terrible drain issue we had in our building. Jesus came by ASAP to inspect the issue, and automatically recognized what it was. He gave us the run down of everything and gave a great price for such a large job. I usually look for how professional a company and it’s workers are and they blew me away. All the workers were very respectful and for all the work they did they kept the basement apartment very clean, wife approved! If you want someone to do a great job with any plumbing, call J sewer & plumbing right away.

Efficient - Answered Questions Patiently - Explained EverythingThey explained everything so well, I will use a different company next time because I think I have learned all I can from J. Blanton.Mainly, I learned despite spending $15K with them in 2017 to rebuild the line to eliminate frequent $2K hydro jetting, I still need to hydro jet annually. Further, I learned I should have installed an overhead system instead of spending $15K on that job.Expecting to pay $299 for rodding, I spent $2k for jetting and recommendations to repeat it every year, replace the underground line with an overhead one, and use J. Blanton for my water heater/HVAC instead of 4 Seasons. (They also recommended I should not have my flood control so deep, but rescinded it when they remembered they had done the work at our request.)We called them because we received their email saying it was time for our annual rodding; coincidentally, our drain had just backed up. After glancing at the floor around the drain, they quickly decided we needed jetting instead of rodding. They scheduled us for the next morning, showed up when they said they would, accomplished the job within the estimated time, and cleaned up afterward. The backup was caused by a buildup of (mainly) toilet paper that occurred over the past 16 months. They explained it’s just something that can happen and jetting is the only solution. I mentioned I was surprised it could build up that quickly from two people because part of the 2017 work was to change the pitch to prevent that. The rep shook his head slowly and said he recalled they couldn’t get our new line completely pitched: there were still flat areas that were impossible to avoid. This was a learning; I had the false impression the flatness had been addressed. It dawned on me: maybe it WAS actually impossible to avoid flat stretches! I suddenly woke up to the fact the 2017 work was not completely successful despite the best efforts of all involved! He explained the gold standard is to run the line overhead instead of underground: overhead lines never have problems. He suggested this despite my having spent $15K on a job that, 16 months ago, was considered to be a solution to eliminate the need for frequent jetting. (At least, that’s how it was “pitched.”)He also observed my water heater clicking on; it’s not supposed to do that. He recalled Blanton did not install the heater, and recommended I have it serviced. I noticed a Blanton sticker on the heater and pointed it out. He casually told me he had just placed it there and another one on the furnace. How thoughtful! I hadn’t asked him to redecorate my basement with Blanton stickers, but I can see now that he was just making sure I knew how to contact Blanton in case I was ignorant enough to think about calling 4 Seasons again! At the end, instead of giving me a receipt, he sat down in a chair by my computer and instructed me to check my email. I ignorantly asked why – his email the previous day had no message or attachment, so my expectations were low. He said he had sent a simple satisfaction survey and it was very important I fill it out ASAP. When I indicated I did not want to do it in front of him, he solemnly yet firmly stated I should do it by day's end.He explained it was important for him to score well on it: it would help people in my area know to call him if they needed work; he also mentioned a tight competition with another employee to win some kind of incentive – a trip or something. Honestly, his demeanor suggested something even graver might be at stake!I gave him 5 stars because he cleared the drain, was punctual, efficient, clean, and enlightened me regarding how ignorant I was to believe that a) the $15K Blanton job in 2017 had succeeded, b) it was the right solution, c) I wanted to cover the flood control even though it inconveniences him, d) 4 Seasons is meeting my needs, and e) customer satisfaction surveys are used to improve customer service rather than to manipulate metrics. I feel much better educated and ready to learn more from someone else.

Walter and his staff did a top notch, speedy and professional job on repairing, replacing, unclogging the old galvanized pipe of my kitchen and his staff (Sorry, I forgot his name but great quiet guy) even fixed the hot water issue. Most houses in Beverly like mine are over one hundred years old. The previous plumber sent by the home warranty was unable to fix it while Walter and his staff was done within an hour and half. I had hired other plumbers including Roto Rooter (that was a nightmare) and no one compared to the professional job done by Walter and his staff. I definitely found a plumber I can trust and will call again. Walter thrives to put his reputation as a trusted plumbing company on the line to give one hundred percent customer satisfaction! Thank you very much!!! -

I thought working with Apex was the best option after reading all the positive reviews, but that was a costly mistake. I called them for two things, to fix a leaky gas shut off valve to our furnace and to install a flue pipe from our water heater out to our chimney
The technician said he couldn't fix the shut off valve and had to use a new one, which was fine. It was a small part and the cost was more than I had expected but I went along with it. The flue pipe is the project that infuriates me more. He said he could do the project and gave me a quote of almost $800. (I'm just going to round up) I thought that would include a liner that would go up our chimney in order to properly ventilate out. He went out to buy more material, came back, and got to work. I gave him his space to work and didn't supervise.
Once he left and I inspected the work, I had instant regret. I had paid for something that looked like a handyman job and did not look professional at all but at least we were safe from inhaling any exhaust.
Today, I had another professional company come out to install a new water heater. They informed me that there is no properly installed liner and that all the exhaust is traveling up and has nowhere to go but to come back down. We have to properly have the chimney lined and then they can install the new tank. So now, I will have to undo the work that the APEX technician did and have it done right. I'm especially infuriated because this is a safety issue. We've been inhaling exhaust for the past three months without even knowing it! I would seriously consider using another company when it comes to issues with furnace and water heaters.
In response to Apex support’s comment:
“Apex took you out of your dangerous situation and can not be responsible for the condition of your water heater or chimney.”
Connecting a flue pipe to an unlined chimney is not fixing a problem and does not take us out of a dangerous situation. Also, I did not blame Apex for the condition of my water heater or our chimney, my comment is about the work itself and service.
Had the technician recommended for me to have our chimney lined first, I would have done that considering it was October and the weather was more suitable for that type of work. Instead your technician had no qualms about moving forward, charged us an inexcusable amount of close to $800 to add a flue pipe to an unlined chimney, which does nothing to fix our problem. (photo attached)
He also said our water heater was a 20 gallon heater and gave me the impression that it was in worse condition than it is. He also said he could install a new water heater (apparently he thought it was OK to install a new heater without a liner) but I had my misgivings about having any additional work done.
Our water heater is actually a 40 gallon, and the new technician Im working with assured me that while our heater is old, it’s a good brand and will fortunately last until we do the proper repairs to our chimney. His words were more or less, if you’re going to do the job, let’s make sure we’re doing it right.
In addition, I would have much rather preferred a phone call or direct message to discuss the matter instead of posting this response publicly, but your customer support decided to follow up on this post instead. Considering that I sent a message directly to your website with my contact info, I find the handling of this unprofessional and will not be recommending your company.

Outstanding service, on time and early to start work benefitting my schedule. Expensive service charged from ABC plumbing that I got for 500$ less with Circle. A lot of experience with the workers and you can tell its a small business vibe making more of an important focus. Utilized them to install a plumbing cutout for easy access to clearing my plumbing which required them to dig a 9ft hole in my front yard. They did they work and put all my yard work back to where it was before they started. The best plumbing experience of the 3 companies I've worked with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED COMPANY FOR YOUR WORK

Had a problem with my kitchen drain, called Accurate and Jeff was able to come out immediately to diagnose and expertly fix my issue. I'm more than happy with the service, however I ended up paying significantly more than I was originally quoted due to the job taking just about an hour... time was taken sitting out front when he got here, going back and forth to the van, removing gloves and taking other customers' phone calls, etc. If I'm paying by the minute then you should spend every second on my job. Seemed like milking the clock to wipe up, take time to write out invoice by hand, all to tell me it was over an hour so I'll be charged an additional $80. Not cool. Charged me for the extra ½ hour then took off quick, so he could charge the next customer for that same time, leaving my floor and under my sink disgusting, splashed with black muck from the drain. The sink on the other side was still clogged, presumably from back up, I had to remove the pipe under the sink to the P trap and clear it myself to complete a job I overpaid for.
