Joseph and Maurice were excellent! I just moved into my house and ended up with a very unexpected, large plumbing job ahead of me. A1 was quick to respond and talked me through the whole process. Joseph and Maurice were always respectful of my time and home. The job took several days and every day, they'd make sure to clean up after themselves. They did everything they could to make sure we were informed and comfortable during the whole process. I will absolutely use them again should I need more plumbing work.

I n today's world, it's refreshing to know that some people still believe in delivering high quality customer service. Rotor-Rooter in Chesapeake is one of them! Very professional from the outset. Our water heater blew out on a Friday evening before a three day weekend, because that's always when stuff like that happens. The professionals at Roto-Rooter answered the phone after 1000 PM, told us they'd have a technician out in the morning to check it out. He was there by 9, gave a courtesy call as a heads up half hour before he showed up. Diagnosed the problem, gave me an accurate estimate. Was there the following day by 8 AM, ran into some fit issues with the new tank, worked through those with ease and was done by noon. Our technician, Steven was the consummate professional, courteous, kind, very knowledgeable and highly skilled. FIVE STARS all the way!

Ricky the technician was absolutely on point in all areas. He explained everything he had to do to fix the problem. We like the fact that he was very honest and represented his company very well.

Our Heating and Air gas pack unit went out yesterday morning. I was extremely concerned because I could smell an intense burning smell and thought our home was on fire. I had another company come out and look everything over and they stated the unit should be replaced and gave me a quote. I decided to get a second opinion and after 5pm on a Tuesday I called RA Styron based on a friends recommendation. The on-call tech immediately gave my information to Ralph who decided he would come immediately to look things over and give me a quote (he was here way past normal business hours). He was concerned about my family and the freezing temps headed our way. My husband and I felt like the company had great standards so we immediately made the decision to move forward. There was also a couple hundred dollar savings which was a bonus. Ralph sent an extremely professional and friendly team out the next morning and they arrived right on time at 9am and finished the job earlier than expected. The setup looks much nicer and we are 100% satisfied even considering we weren’t expecting to spend that kind of money right before Christmas. I will call these guys again.

I had A-1 come to my house last night to fix a bathtub. They worked around my hours and did great work fixing the bathtub. My two complaints, after seeing what was wrong and needed to be fixed I was quoted $375 for the repairs. This was far more than it should have been for the little amount of work that it took. Even though I wasn't thrilled about the price, I bit the bullet and decided to have them go ahead and do the work so I knew it would be done correctly. My biggest complaint: I told the plumber that I had a coupon from online that gave me 15% off all plumbing repairs. He looked at me and said, See, the thing is I already gave you a huge discount as he shrugged his shoulders. First, that is a lie!!!! It took 20-30 minutes and $10 dollars worth of materials to fix my bathtub. (The piece that was messed up was brand new as he pointed out to me when giving me the qoute.) Second, how can you not honor a coupon after a quote is given? If I said I had the coupon prior to receiving my quote, would my cost have been over $400???? Unfortunately for A-1, the fact that my shower is fixed does not out weight the fact their people lacked integrity during my interaction with them last night. I will not ever be doing business with them again. I will stick to small local private owned plumber businesses from now on.
