Replaced entire heating cooling system upstairs and downstairs (except furnace for downstairs).For the most part the installers did what they promised to do until the completion of the project. When testing the newly installed system, I asked the installer to test heating to make sure it’s working properly. He set the thermostat to 80 degrees , after about 15 minutes I went in the bedroom and it feels like an oven in the room. I asked how come the thermostat is reading 67 degrees but it’s really hot in the bedrooms. I was told the reason was the bedroom doors are closed therefore the air doesn’t circulate. I said when people go to bed they normally closed the doors. One of the installer made a phone call to his bosses to address the issue and was told unless the doors are open the thermostat will not be satisfied.( therefore the unit will keep on going until thermostat reaches the desired temperature)my question was it’s already blazing hot in the bedrooms yet the system still pumping in heat. Then I was told “IT IS WHAT IT IS” Really ? After a few more back and forth phone calls they finally sent a QA person to addressed the issue. Keeping my fingers crossed that the new system installed will work efficiently as promised. To Russell’s Heating supervisors ! Emphasize customer service to your employees . “ it is what it is “ attitude will not score high on your reputation.

I have used Smith And Keene for many years. They are reliable and they have always been responsive I am well satisfied with how they do business and their work performance.

Great staff! Jasmin got back to me exactly when she said she would. Dean showed up shortly after and was very friendly and explained everything. He had Patrick show up to help out replacing my water heater. They worked quickly but very meticulously throughout the job. Never tried to upsale me or pressure me into anything extra. Best experience I have had with any service company in all of Hampton Roads!
