I have owned my condo for a little over 2 years and both the summers I've spent here, I have had issues with my central AC. I have had 4 or 5 different companies come out to look at the system and my experience has ranged from them telling me I just need to change the filter (which I do on a regular basis) to telling me I have to replace my entire system (involving a crane and closing down my entire street with police detail for a whole day). I finally called Frank at Gomes Plumbing and Heating and we set up an appointment for the very next day to come out and look at the system. He was able to find the issue in very little time and charged me a fraction of what the others had been trying to charge me. I was so pleased with the work he did and the service I got that I've told all of my friends who are home/condo owners in the area to call Frank!

A few months after Frank fixed my AC (which is working wonderfully now!) my garbage disposal broke. Again, Frank was able to come over to fix it the very next day. I would recommend Gomes Plumbing and Heating to absolutely everyone and plan to use Frank for ALL of my plumbing/cooling/heating needs in the future.

I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a plumber that is professional and customer oriented. Matt has been to our house for issues with the ejector pump. He explained the issue and the cause. He answers all my questions which eases my concerns. Does not hard sell anything extra just comes in to fix the issue. He gives honest answers. Matt makes me feel as though he is taking care of a family member’s issue. I’ve used this company a few times and they hold committed to the day and time frame they give. I will use them again in a heartbeat if ever in need of their services. Matt is a great young man.

We've had Sam at the house a few times now for various projects and have nothing but praise for his work. He shows up at the time agreed upon and doesn't quit until the job is done. He keeps you advised as to what's going on with what he doing......... and he notices things that can be improved and brings them to your attention. The best part is he's a very personable, likable guy. No complaints here!

Mike and his partner were awesome. Not only did they do a professional job in repairing our radiant heat system but Mike welcomed my annoying hovering and many questions. He educated me on how my system works and also the history of steam heat. Apparently, the Empire State building runs on a similar system as my old house! Mike is both an expert plumber and an outstanding teacher! I will definitely be calling Akian for future plumbing (and educational) needs!

Brian and Tommy are the best. Very knowledgeable and honest. I manage properties and only call them if there is any plumbing needs.

Rich Mathews is a true professional. Can't say enough good things about him. Answered when I called, took the time to speak with me and explain my options, got us on his calendar in a reasonable amount of time, friendly in person, and noticed a few small things that needed fixing on site and did it just because he's a great person.
