Best Contractor in Boston MA

During the bitter cold snap over this past weekend, we realized we had no hot water and poor heat. Went down to the basement to find water all over the floor. After spending 2 hours on the phone looking for plumber, T-Flow called me back and came the next day! Henry & Jose came promptly on time & spent 6 hours, replacing the hot water heater & cleaning the furnace & replacing old parts. They were great - professional, courteous & willing to do more after clearing it with their boss, Matt. Matt was great too -- keeping in contact with my landlord to get necessary approvals for repairs. This is the 3rd time I've called TFlow & had a positive experience each time. I highly recommend them.

Power Plumbing was really responsive via text! They came within a week for a non-emergency shower fix and dryer vent cleaning. Helped me identify part I needed which I was able to order ahead of their arrival. They did the job well, but ultimately overcharged me. Good quality work though

I have used Rich for over 10 years for various plumbing needs, including water heater installations. Rich is a real professional who not only loves what he does, does it well, but also really cares about his customers. Last night, my water heater kicked the bucket. I called Boston Water Heaters at around 9 pm to leave a message and Rich answered. Yes, he answered at 9 pm. Rich fit me in and came out today to install a new water heater for me. He came when he said and charged me what I knew to be a fair price. I will not use anyone else for this service. The care he has shown to me when I've been in a pinch has earned him my loyalty as a customer. Thanks Rich!

I can’t say enough about Pauric and his team He listened to our needs and got to work immediately. He was so professional and gave us exactly what we envisioned bringing faucets, garbage disposal and bath and shower parts that were exquisite. He worked so efficiently, there were times when I forgot he was here. In between each job, he made sure we were pleased before moving on to the next one. There was an unexpected problem with a pipe that was faulty in our bathroom that we never knew about and although he hadn’t expected to find that, he fixed it for us. Recently, my daughter bought a new home and the heating system needed to be replaced. I can’t begin to tell you the quality of THAT job. Michael with Presidents Plumbing was super responsive when I had a problem with my heat. He took care of the issue and I had heat within an hour. He was super professional, explained the issue & how I can prevent it. For sure someone to rely on!

Called for a leaky sink disposal. I am always very concerned that contractors try to use the opportunity to make phony alarming diagnosis and try to sell overly complicated repairs.

John came to my place quickly, explained the problem was trivial: faulty installation, and fixed it in one minute with a hammer for the price we agreed on over the phone... Boom, boom, and done.

He also gave me advice about other disposal issues that would look like the disposal need repair but could be trivially diagnosed be me. I appreciate the knowledge and the trivia.

At the end of the visit, I felt that the work done was appropriate, not rushed, and I felt I could trust this company again to work for me (as opposed to work for themselves) if I have another plumbing problem.

This is by far the sleaziest operation in town. Came over to snake the drain, blew a hole in our pipes and then charged me 1200$ To fix his mistake as water poured through the floors into the basement. Put me in a situation where I had no choice but to agree to this price. What a JOKE! Avoid them at all costs, many many other options out there.

Barrell Plumbing installed a 2 mini-split system providing air conditioning as well as heat. We were impressed with how they were able to start and finish the work earlier than they originally quoted.

Their workers, plus an outside electrical crew they hired to perform the electrical work, were professional and efficient, especially how they cleaned up after themselves upon leaving.

The units have performed above our expectations, especially after experiencing several weeks of hot, humid weather. Now that cooler weather is here, the units provide excellent heat very quickly.

We are very satisfied with Barrell Plumbing and would certainly recommend them.

I called to get a quote for replacing my water heater, and within the hour, he was able to personally come out to the house, take a look at the job, provide a quote and schedule the replacement for the next day. This was the best experience I've ever had with a plumber - he handled every aspect of the job promptly and professionally.
