I highly recomend this plummer. I searched the internet to find a plummer licensed to work with gas and found Bill Martin. I have a rental in Norfolk and don't even live in the state. My heater was very old. Bill could have told me anything but instead, he fixed it in one trip. The price was very reasonable. i am happy. My tenant is happy and I will definately use him again.

We contacted Cecilia's st 5PM on a Wednesday with a leaking water heater. They had a technician to our house within the hour, and we had a new water heater installed within 2 and a half hours. Pricing was fair. Service was quick, quality,and professional. We officially have our new plumber!

If you are like me when it comes to repairs I am just used to opening my wallet and let myself be robbed because of not being mechanically inclined. I got three estimate for repair to my AC unit and was given a range of 3000 to 5500 dollars being told this was needed, that was needed and so on. Anyway with money being tight I tried one more estimate and contacted James Dodd Plumbing and Air. The office staff was very friendly and was able to get Mr. Dodd himself out there the same day. So what the other repair places made seem like the end of the world turned out that just a minor repair was needed and the cost was minor. I was so relieved. So yes 'Virginia' there is a honest repair man out there. If you are looking for honesty, professionalism and people that follow through go with James Dodd Plumbing and Air.

Arrived and left for 1.5 hrs to pick up supplies and assistant. Charged me, plus another 1.5 hrs plus parts. Owner of company, Billy finally removed 1 HR. but still being overcharged .5 STRONGLY advise to watch your hourly charge if you decide to use them.

All day plumbing was right on time. They were fast to come and serviced clogged main drain in no time. They were the best plumbing company I have used ever and would recommend them to everyone.

Subcontracted to install a dishwasher that I bought at Lowe’s. They are so far behind it took 8 weeks to get a scheduled install date and time. On the day of delivery, during the install window, that I had coordinated and confirmed from my phone 5 weeks prior with Perez’s office staff, I was sent an email that they weren’t delivering because they didn’t have my phone number and couldn’t confirm the delivery. I had received 3 more emails reminding me of the delivery, but not one to say they needed me to call them again and confirm it a second time. They didn’t even reschedule the delivery and install, and sent it back to scheduling through Lowe’s. This is inexcusable from both companies.

Called Johnny on Sunday late afternoon. He said he would get someone out Monday morning. He called me back and asked if I had called the City of Norfolk. He said they would cover if it was their system. They came out and it was a clog between the house and sewage line. Johnny sent out Brian Monday morning. They arrived early and got it all fixed. Good price too.
