They Never called me back.

Excellent Service

Could not fix a simple problem said they could not fix a leaking bathroom shower head still charged me 148$,after 3 minutes saying he couldn't fix the problem, been using the company for years, no more I'm done

We do appreciate James so very much! As a fellow Texan he put me as well as my dementia and hard of hearing patient at ease. He felt like a friend and not a stranger and was easy to talk to. I had a bad experience with A-1 American Plumbing when I had a clogged laundry drain recently that made me not trust anyone. They told me they would have to take the trap off & bring a machine to clean out the pipe & it would cost me $685. He didn't do anything & I had to pay them $78.50 just for coming here. My son took the P trap off & pulled the lint out & it drains perfectly now. I posted a request on Nextdoor for a good, honest plumber when my double kitchen sink clogged & got several recommendations & Discount Plumbing was one of them. Mike & another guy from Discount Plumbing came today & did what A-1 American had described & had it fixed in about an hour & charged me only $124! I was so relieved & happy. They are the only company I plan to call for future repairs. They provided fast service & the young men that came here were friendly, polite, wore their masks correctly the entire time and were the honest experienced plumbers that I had hoped for. The young lady that works in the office was very pleasant & helpful too. I highly recommend Discount Plumbing.

Billy O'Connor (VP) came out promptly, provided invaluable guidance on our DIY renovation (I know when to call in the pros) and quickly came back with a highly-competitive quote. Their guys (Early and Tom) came out quickly and were professional, courteous, effective, and CLEAN! They laid down heavy plastic before starting, wiped up any water that escaped quickly, and swept up after themselves and even other subcontractors who weren't so mindful. Billy came by the house frequently to check on the work and and answer questions, which goes a long way with me in this age of sell it and forget it. These are the folks to use for your large projects and I certainly will again! Thank you!

Replaced my faucet and garbage disposal. Replaced my shower diverters. They charge by the hour and didn’t stretch out the time. I could hear that they were through, checking and double checking the install. Very professional. A pleasure really. I got a quote from 3 other places, I saved 200 dollars, and the job was done perfectly.

These people are awful. They are thieves and unreliable. I had to call them many times to ask them to come see my plumbing project and give me an estimate. When they finally came to my restaurant to give me an estimate, they charged me $100. Most companies don't charge for an estimate (And they call themselves DISCOUNT Plumbing) . Not only that, but they never got back to me, nor did they get me my estimate. I called them many times and told them about it, and they kept saying that they'll check to see what the deal is and call me back. Never heard from them after that.

Was driving behind one of their trucks on my way to work this morning. He was going about 10 miles an hour, which was frustrating, and also driving just close enough to the middle of the road so I couldn't get around him. I guess he was lost. He finally comes to a stop, then turns, not signaling (of course). I did not blow my horn or anything, but he must have seen my disgusted face and he flipped me the bird. Not exactly smart when the logo of your business is on the side of your van. Jerk. I will not be calling them!

On time on a Saturday for $75 to come and $75 per half hour work, satisfactory work, and courteous. Did more to check something else rather than estimate and charged me alot more extra, but a few days later mgt refunded it. Very nice to work with. Spring 2016.

Had an ice maker water line leaking. Called late in the day and they were out the very next day. I only took a couple of minutes to fix it. Prices are reasonable. Love these people.

He was professional and did a great repair job for less than I expected. He didn't charge us for parts, which was an added bonus. I recommend them to anyone seeking a good plumber for a great price.

Arrived and left for 1.5 hrs to pick up supplies and assistant. Charged me, plus another 1.5 hrs plus parts. Owner of company, Billy finally removed 1 HR. but still being overcharged .5 STRONGLY advise to watch your hourly charge if you decide to use them.

Amazing!!! After dealing with a plumbing service that overcharged us for a part and then quoted 2 hours for the follow up service with astronomical prices, Discount Plumbing Co. really came through for us. They were very courteous, knowledgeable, fast and professional. I highly recommend this company. 5 Stars all around!!!

Very quick fix

Absolutely the best option for plumbing work in Hampton roads. After calling 6 plumbers they were the best price. After what I thought was a catastrophe was happening in my house they showed up on time and set me back to normal. Guys were friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know!!!

The staff, employees and others are very professional, proficient, friendly, courteous, and customer service is outstanding.
I recently had a repair done, I called this company and received same day service.

I am so very grateful for their service to their customers. I was informed by property management team no one could assist until a week. This was not acceptable to me as a renter. As a renter I did the job the property management team should have done. Little background, I was down to only (1) water source which was the kitchen only. If I used any other water source it came back up in the downstairs bathroom. Was advised by property management team wait, take bird baths.

As a renter of this property for 10+ years, not acceptable.
The rental monies have never been late. Their attitude to this day is just pay your rent and we don't care about the conditions of the property.
I was in the business works for 20+ years, and this is definitely not how you handle issues.

I called for an after hour clog and George was the man. He showed up in 35 minutes had the clog cleared in less than that. These guys are quick do great work and have amazing pricing. There after hour pricing is cheaper than most plumbers normal hourly charge.

Very thorough job, have used discount plumbing a couple of times and would not hesitate to use their services again

I had a gas leak in my hot water heater line and called the gas company at the smell of gas. A worked from Virginia Natural gas come to my home, detected the leak and red ragged my meter. That's when I called Discount Plumbing and was assigned Mike. Mike arrived a my home the same day I called and in a timely fashion. He was knowledgeable, professional and knew his trade. He quickly repaired the leak and set my gas lines up for a pressure test. He explained the process of obtaining a permit and having the city inspector come to my home. All of the paperwork was completed by Discount Plumbing on their end and I had my hot water turned on after only 2 days. I would recommend Discount Plumbing to anyone and I plan on using them again should I need plumbing services in the future.

Discount Plumbing did the plumbing for River Park Condominium, 17 years ago. Someone did not tighten the screw cap to a sewage drain pipe unaccessible in the wall behind the kitchen cabinets. This slow drip finally did water damage to the engineered flooring which caused me to investigate the source. Mold was all through the shared walls -- studs, insulation, plywood,sheetrock, my cabinets, pantry, flooding,padding and carpet. Just the demo, alone, was over $20,000. Because of the 2 year statue of limitations I have no legal recourse. I have COPD and am on 02 24/7. The Air Quality is so bad, my unit is inhabitable and I'm sure this toxic environment hasn't helped my health.

What a crying shame that someone didn't take the time to do his job right. Now, I'm paying the price!!

I had the most enjoyable experience of any service with Discount Plumbing's employee James. He showed up QUICKLY, within an hour, to the house where I had a complete stoppage in the main drain. My family couldn't use any plumbing, and after a really rough time with the home warranty people we called Discount Plumbing. James was done so fast I couldn't believe it. Very friendly, professional, and courteous. Everyone with needs for plumbing would be VERY lucky to have him. The service was 100% perfect and cheap but NOT cheap, if you catch my drift. THANK YOU JAMES and DISCOUNT PLUMBING!!!
