Over the last year, Gravity Plumbing has done multiple repairs at my residence. Aron and Travis did a great job of assessing the best way to plumb our Cat Genie into the laundry room sink. Thay used a special drainpipe with a dishwasher tee in the drain line for the Cat Genie waste line. They hooked up the cold-water line and used a special flexible drain trap to handle the trapping and the configuration differences from a standard u-trap.
The work is neat, clean, tidy, and not visible. This project went very smoothly from beginning to end. It cleaned up a tripping hazard, eliminated a water hose line and waste line eyesore, and made the maintenance more practical because of the increased movability of the Cat Genie itself.

Robin at Baybreeze made a shocking number of mistakes when hired to fix an exterior gas leak, dragging out what should have been done in 3 days to a full 3 weeks.

After ‘fixing’ the leak the first time, we learned from the city that his work failed inspection, and the lines were still leaking. After ‘fixing’ it a second time, VBG turned our gas back on, but the technician discovered an uncapped line spilling out beneath our deck. Had the technician not caught this and corrected Robin’s negligence, the consequences could have easily been catastrophic for us.

After coming out a third time, the leaks were finally fixed and the lines capped, but he proceeded to install a valve he’d removed earlier for no clear reason (it wasn’t the one leaking) in the wrong spot, and we ended up once again with gas cut off to our gas pack furnace, and our tankless water heater.

After all of this was finally settled, he proceeded to overcharge us by about $250 above what we’d agreed upon, citing the cost of a second pressure test (a test that would not have been necessary had he simply done his job right the first, or even second time around).

Robin was full of excuses at every turn, but all in all, based on my experience he and his company did not demonstrate the competence or reliability necessary to safely work on natural gas. I feel he left my home and my family at risk, and I cannot recommend that anyone hire him in the future.

Great guy. Helped replace our water shut off valves and connect our plumbing for our new vanity sink. Extremely nice and knowledgeable. Responded to calls quickly and just a Great guy to chat with. Will use his services again and highly recommend to anyone. 5 stars.

Both Ben and Max were phenomenal. They were informative, considerate, and understanding of the situation at hand with our main drain back up into the bathtub. Ben had inspected and explained our situation thoroughly for us to make a decision going forward. We felt comfortable with trusting this company to continue and glad we did. Max had shown us probable cause to why our system had backed up with the video inspection of our sewage pipes. This information is going to help us make the decisions to the future of our home. I cannot thank them enough, and you can tell this company treats you like they would treat their family, with kindness and understanding. What more can you ask? I would recommend them.

We found A1 through Angie and couldn't be happier! We were able to get an appointment for the very next day to install our gas stove after receiving quite the runaround from Lowes about installing the stove which was purchased through their website. Our appointment was scheduled for a 10am - 1pm window. At 10:15 I got a call from their office telling us that our technician was held up on another job and could we switch to a 2pm - 5pm window. Absolutely we could and appreciated their prompt communication with us. At 2:30 we received a call from our technician, Courtland, telling us he would be here at 3:45pm. He arrived at 3:45pm on the dot!Courtland was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and a joy to work with. He also did all of this while making the trip up to Richmond late on a Friday afternoon. A1 should be very proud to have this young man as an employee. We haven't had the pleasure of this level of professional service from a technician in a very long time.A1 has gained a customer for life in us for their exemplary service, great rates, and professionalism. Super helpful and knowledgeable, walked me through financing the work too. Jason, the technician, went above and beyond to get my outdoor electrical panel, done the same day. We had just found out about the damage and potentially hazard it would cause and he personally replaced it so that I could have piece of mind when I was away from home. Did all of it, by himself, in 90+ degree weather. I can't thank him enough.

Lowe’s uses this company to install. I bought a new dishwasher and this company is the one Lowe’s contracts with to do installations. The man that installed was very polite. When my dishwasher didn’t drain correctly the first time I used it I called Perez and told them the problem. The owner came on the phone and was horribly rude and arrogant saying that it wasn’t an installation problem but that my machine was defective and was Lowe’s problem. He refused to offer any assistance. I called Lowe’s and the only installed they use is Perez! Lowe’s called to have them come back out. Took them forever to call me to come back out. The tech came, looked at machine and said not an install issue.... call Lowe’s. It’s still an ongoing issue! Don’t use Perez ever!
