I was extremely happy with my service by them. Matt came out, with short notice, and inspected my problem bathrooms, checked my cleanout in the yard, made sure everything was cleared out and left me with flushing toilets and draining sinks. I’d definitely refer friends and family their direction.

Atomic Plumbing provided excellent service from the timely response, to my call to updates prior to their arrival time, to the actual work conducted on site. They provided me with options and didn't try and strong arm us into service we didn't need. They stayed with us until we could verify the service was complete (and the toilet didn't back up again) and ensured we had peace of mind about the work that was done before they left. I asked for additional service to be completed on the upstairs bathroom shower and the technician, James M., provided an initial assessment for free and gave me options. Once I determined it was going to need his expertise, he quickly and efficiently got to work and fixed that problem too. They were military friendly and provided me a 10% discount which for a family of five on a single income, every little bit helps! Within 24 hours of requesting service to hang shades and rods Z Line was at my door. As Edward was hanging the shades, he noticed there was flooding on the lower level of the house from the heavy rain that day. He called another handyman from Z Line to come over and assess the situation, check the crawl, and make recommendations as to what could be done to prevent this from happening in the future. Edward continued hanging the shades even with the flooding, and offered to help me clean up the water even though that was not the job he came by to do. They truly went above and beyond. I will definitely be using Z Line in the future and recommending them to everyone I know in the Norfolk area who may be in need of their services.

Approximately 3 days ago I arrived at my home after driving 9hrs at around 3am to find that I had a massive leak that I later learned was my supply line. Never having had to deal with this before, I obviously freaked out and got the water turned off. Later that morning after calling multiple plumbers local to the Norfolk and Virginia Beach area I had one come out from a different company (NOT MR. ROOTER) that immediately wanted to charge me $3.5k just to break up concrete and look for the leak. He did not turn the water on, or so much as shine a flashlight on the area I said water was coming from. The next company wanted me to do leak detection through a 3rd party first and then have them do the repair, the leak detection was quoted to be about $500, most other places charge much less.

This is significant because Mr. Zhane Albrecht from Mr. Rooter not only found the leak that was actually located above ground, but explained to me how the damage occurred, why it occurred and how he was going to fix it. This guy is the walking epitome of customer service and satisfaction, he wasn't pushy and you could tell he was advising on matters as if it were his own home which speaks volumes to his character as a professional that cares about people.

Rarely is it ever a good circumstance to have to call out a plumber, but through the unfortunate issue I had, I was thankful I had somebody knowledgeable and honest enough to see me through to the other side WITHOUT trying to rake me over the coals. Thanks Zhane, you're the man!

We own a restaurant, and the last tenants really made a mess of the grease trap and all of the plumbing that they fixed. So when our new tenant moved in, we realized that there was quite a few things that needed to be fixed by a professional, not just a dude with a wrench. I got quotes from a couple of places, but I was immediately impressed by the guy who came and gave us an estimate, Nick. He was proactive, thorough, polite, and spoke with knowledge that was easily understood by me, an absolute novice. He was so good that when I scheduled the work to be done, I requested him to do the work. I knew he would do a good job. Well, he did a great job! It was a big job, and it took nearly the whole day. He left it beautiful and clean, and, everything is running well. I will definitely call this company again for other work that needs to be done. After seeing some of these negative reviews, I was worried. But honestly, I did not have any negative experience at all.
