We had a gas smell coming from our gas stove and decided to give A-1 Sewer and Drain Plumbing a call. Their response was immediate and they had a technician come out the following day. I was given a window to be available, and the technician, Mike Smith, gave me a call to let me know he was enroute, which I appreciated. A short while later Mike called me again to let me know he was hung up in some traffic on the bridge but that he was still on his way. Shortly thereafter he arrived, introduced himself and set straight away to my issue. Throughout the entire interaction Mike was professional, courteous and polite. After he found and fixed my gas leak he answered my questions, ensured there was nothing else I needed before he left. In a day where true professionalism is hard to find, Mike was the exception to the standard. We will definitely be keeping A-1 on our list for the future.

We hired American Mechanical to hook our home up to the city's sewer system. We were extraordinarily pleased with the hard work of Rich P. He is a hard-worker and went above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done. Overall, we had a very positive experience with American Mechanical. We received quotes from numerous other plumbing companies and they were all considerably higher. Joel did an excellent job of explaining to us what the job would entail and what to expect along the way. He worked up a quote that was the most reasonable one that we had received. Other plumbing companies were a lot higher, and many were too slow to respond to our request for an estimate. The office staff was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We needed a plumber and the plumber we had used in the past was not available so we contacted Ali-Cor Plumbing. They arrived at the time promised and performed the work required but I was not happy with the amount of money they charged us to install a new kitchen faucet. We were changing out our kitchen faucet and we purchased the faucet to be installed. I feel that we were overcharged for the services rendered. For that reason, I would not recommend them to someone else.
